Campground Reviews

We always plan to stay here on our way to Yellowstone. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The campground is the most scenic of any KOA we’ve visited. Oh and don’t forget to eat at the Cowboy—a couple blocks walking distance away. The Ruben sandwich is the best...as are any of the huckleberry combo pies. BIG THUMBS UP for this campground.

We were pleasantly surprised by this KOA. We camped for five nights total, and the showers/toilets were cleaned everyday and it showed. The campsite was comprised of small pebble or stone instead of grass, so come prepared with lots of cushion or ask for a grass section. The location is extremely downtown making it very easy to walk to get to any of the downtown events and/or attractions!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was excellent. We rented an atv and had the best time riding up into the mountains. They have sites on the river and if you have dogs they have a few sites with pens for them

Fantastic campground! We stayed right on the river, and restaurants in town were within walking distance. Even the hour drive to the Tetons was amazing. We would definitely stay there again, preferably for longer next time!

Wonderful staff and beautiful, clean, facility. Given the opportunity we would definitely return. They delivered our firewood and ice, and even shared potatoes the volunteer fire department was selling for donations. Highly recommend! Chris, Christin, Reese, and Autumn.

Wonderful people, beautiful spot to camp

We had a pull-thru site that was more than long enough, but it was very narrow. Some of the sites have large rocks in the weedy yards that are hard to walk on, some sites are grass. The office staff is very friendly and helpful, the grounds are clean but not attractive. There is an indoor pool and game area next to the playground. Not bad, just average.

I used this as a base camp for my visit to Yellowstone and the Tetons. Exceptionally friendly staff, excellent facilities. Definitely on my favorite KOA list.

This is by far one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed. We’re coming back next year and can’t wait. The staff was 5 star.

Been here multiple times for years. Love the River front spots. Water supply needs some work, as does the site itself needs some grading so your twin axel trailer is NIT sitting in a pool of water. All ready made our reservations for 2022

We checked in late, so they had light on the cabin porch turned on and waiting for us. The lady at the front desk was so helpful guiding us to a restaurant that was still open in time for us to get a bite to eat after a long day of travel. Cabin had a lantern inside to help guide you at night. Showers/restrooms were clean and nice.

Dry nice location right on river. Great access to South entrance to Yellowstone and north entrance to Gran Titan. 90 minutes from Jackson Hole. Extremely helpful staff. Called within minutes after I pulled out to advise that I had left my jack foot in the site. Saved me time coming back for it.

over priced for the amenities in the tee pee. spot light from church shines on tee-pees all night. Insufficient heater. not a camping environment at all. Great showers and nice staff.

From speaking with them on the phone before arrival to virtual hugs goodbye, Beth, Ken and all staff were all about customer service. Staying at this KOA stands out by far as the best kamping experience thus far. Their store is well stocked, the staff very knowledgeable and friendly, the grounds and facilities are clean and well maintained. Kudos Dubois KOA! Hope to see you next year!!

The husband and wife team are so friendly and gave great advice about the area. The KOA was spotless clean. Including the store, the grounds and bathrooms/showers. The owners care about dogs and have put a kennel at some sites. I would definitely stay here again!! We went sightseeing for a day and when I returned I had to run to office to share that I saw my first ever grizzly bear and two yearlings. The manager is such a positive person and a good listener. She's exactly who you want greeting people. Thank you for a wonderful and friendly stay! I forgot to mention: they have great internet, so bring your Hulu, Netflix, Amazon logins.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Backing up to the river was enjoyable, but because of the cold nights , we kept the windows closed. The recently opened National Military Vehicles Museum is a must see . It is very well displayed and I would recommend taking the guided tour . The speaker was very knowledgeable and kept our interest for three hours. It is about 9 miles east of Dubois.
