At KOA Leduc/Edmonton Campground we believe that respect to one another and our environment is most important to ensure everyone has fun and is safe doing so. Here is our general guideline on how we can achieve this goal.
Observe Check In/Out Times: We have specific check in/out times. For your convenience, please be aware of them prior to arrival. If arriving late in the evening, give our office a heads up via phone call. Please be mindful of late night arrivals as to not disturb the campers.
Respect Your Neighbours: Please do not walk through other campsites. Keep all your vehicles, bikes, toys, etc. on your site, even if the site next to you appears to be empty.
Be Mindful of Noise Level: Enjoy music at your own site during the day at a decent level while being courteous to your neighbours. Have fun, but be mindful that other campers enjoy camping for the peace and quiet.
Mind Your Campfire: Check to be sure that campfires are allowed at the campground. Fire bans may be put in place. Give our office a phone call to get the latest update. When having a campfire, keep the flame level at a decent size - no bonfires. Never leave a campfire unattended and be fully sure the campfire is extinguished before leaving or going to sleep.
Observe Quiet Times: Our campground has posted quiet times that we enforce so all campers can enjoy themselves and get rest when needed. Keep levels of talking, children and pets low and music off during these times.
Keep A Tidy Campsite: Be sure all garbage and food is properly stored and cleaned up. Clean your site at the end of each night, placing outdoor supplies, bins, toys, etc. under or close by to your RV or inside your vehicle. This allows everyone to enjoy a clean campground in the morning, as well as keep your items from being damaged due to the weather elements over night.
Go The Speed Limit: The speed limit is there to ensure the safety of all campers. Observe the speed limit and be aware of children running, biking and playing near the road.
Keep The Washroom & Facilities Clean: We work hard to keep all campground facilities clean, but many campers use them throughout the day. Do your part to keep these areas clean when using them by picking up after yourself and reporting any spills or broken equipment immediately. If you find the bath house or any facility dirty, let the office know right away and we will take care of it.
Be A Responsible Pet Owner: Keep your dog leashed and in your control at all times. Keep dogs quiet during quiet time. Excessive barking is unacceptable at any time of day. Pick up after your dog.
Follow All Campground Rules: Besides the general campground etiquette tips listed here, be aware that camprounds may have additional specific rules to ensure that everyone enjoys their time and stays safe. Be aware of what these rules are and observe them closely.
Enjoy Your Stay!
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
