I was very disappointed with our stay at the Elizabethtown/Hershey KOA. The mattress was lumpy and we paid a lot for the Deluxe Cabin so we wouldn't have to sleep uncomfortably. There was just 1 event planned for families. The camp store was poorly stocked & had very limited hours of operation which was highly annoying! The pool water was freezing cold! Needless to say, we will NOT be returning.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. Like so many other business's we are short staffed,unable to get supplies and have been forced to take steps to mitigate the problems of the pandemic.We ask for everyone's understanding and patience as we do the best we can during this time.

We came for a family week. My great-grandson loved the pool and the fishing. The whole family has a wonderful time and the cabin was just what we need for our stay. Like your camp so much we got a KOA membership. Happy Camping

As always, we really like KOA campgrounds and have stayed at about twelve throughout the US. We will continue to stay due to the higher standards of bathrooms and cleanliness as well as the amenities that are offered such as pools, playgrounds, mini golf etc. . . .that make the stay more fun and enjoyable. We are always excited to pull in and see what each place has to offer and do!

Everything was great and clean during our stay. The only thing is we had hoped the pool and store would be open later then 8pm. When we got back from hershey park which closed at 8 we had no time to utilize the pool or store during our first two days only the last day we checked out.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have been forced to cut hours, activities and amenities due to severe staff shortage. Perhaps next year will bring an opportunity to return to normal operations.

The campground itself wasn't too bad. I wish they had the upgraded shower building like many other KOAs we have stayed at which includes 12 personal bathrooms and showers. I docked most of the points off due to the absolutely ridiculous contract that you force your visitors to sign at checkout. $100 for an unreturned remote? Get real, the entire TV could be replaced for that.

We are sorry our campground failed to meet your expectations.Our cabin agreement is used by campgrounds across the country and safeguards both of us.While we don't have the bathhouse you desire, we do have 4 bathhouses,all recently built or renovated and kept clean.

We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our little cabin and the amenities offered at this campground. We do wish the pool and mini golf were open later as we feel like 6:45 on sundays and 7:45 on other days was very early for closure, especially when we arrived on sunday at about 6:30pm, but overall it was a great stay even if we couldn't swim/play as much as we'd like.

Like so many businesses,the lack of staff has forced us to reduce amenity access, store hours etc.We hope that next season we can go back to our normal schedule.

Great stay in one of the cabins. Staff was very friendly and helpful and there were plenty of good activities. Or you could just relax at the pool or your campfire. Would definitely come again!

Our stay was just what we needed. Relaxing and still things to do. Quiet and calm but entertaining at the same time. I had a 8,7 and 6 year olds with us and they had the best time!!!

The staff was unfriendly and watched everyone like it was a prison. We had several families on site and it felt like every move we made, there was a rude staff member ready to micomanage our time. The beds in the cabin were hard and the shower went from freezing cold water to scalding hot after setting the cabin. Definitely not some place I would return to.

The rules are to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all of our guests.Your group was directly responsible for numerous complaints.Your group made it clear the rules do not apply to them.Staff repeatedly asked you to comply and you refused.We do agree, you will not be returning.

Really disappointed in their service. I have been to KOA's all over the US, this one is just not run by pleasant people. We rented two cabins. On day 2 one of the 8 year old kids of ours took a piece of wood from an area that wasn't locked or restricted near our cabin (we didn't see him do it). The guy that works there approached my brother and created a scene for no reason. Instead of just

At no time is theft acceptable! Period. Members of your group removed treated timbers from a fenced and posted maintenance yard on more than one occasion. Not just the kids.You then burned them in your firepit, putting yourselves and anyone in the area at risk.

My kids and I love this campground. People are super friendly, helpful and are always smiling. They take care of the grounds, clean the pools and more importantly, the public bathrooms are always clean. Highly recommend the Hershey KOA, my go to place when I need a quick getaway.

Nice clean campground. Cabin was very clean. Lots of things to do - mini golf, fishing, etc. Keypad entrance to cabin very convenient. Enjoyed breakfast options on weekends.

Campground was nice and clean, plenty of amenities. Some of the staff members were downright miserable and rude. For that reason we will not be back.

We stayed here with our extended family for three nights (we rented four cabins). The campground was beautiful and very clean. The staff were so helpful and pleasant. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here!

Everyone was very friendly, the campground was clean and well taken care of (even the bathrooms!), and there was plenty to do. It was a great stay, we will definitely be back.

Loved it! Very clean, pretty, well-kept grounds. Very nice staff. Good activities for the kids. The cabin had above average storage, benches and hooks for luggage. Wifi works. Very good location- close to amenities. Baby pool was colder than big pool but still good.

Very pleasant staff ,very clean facilities, had all the amenities to meet our needs.Was really happy with our cabin and location,so much so that I made a note of the cabin number and look foward to staying at this koa again and hopefully this cabin will be available upon my request.

WOW - what a great place!! We were there for chocolate extravaganza weekend. It was great. Lots of activities for kids. The staff is absolutely awesome. The grounds are well kept. The RV sites are nicely spaced. We did some fishing and caught a couple bluegills. There are some nice sized bass and catfish in there, but no luck with them (use hot dogs for bait). We will definitely be going back.

This is a VERY nice KOA. We wish we could have stayed longer and we have certainly added this to our list to go back to in 2022! Very well kept and good location near Hershey. Can't wait to go back (for longer this time!)

Great KOA and one of the best campgrounds in the central PA area, no contest. Sites are large and well spaced out Events for the kids on Saturday night. Very organized check-in Lots of people out by the fire at night, but everyone is quiet. Overall Campground has a great Vibe, I highly recommend for the Hershey area.
