We enjoy the KOA location due to it's proximity to the New River Trail. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze and completed without getting out of the vehicle. The sites are very nice and easy to get in/out. It's our favorite KOA for sure. The only drawback was the cable TV reception and Wi-Fi coverage can be weak.

Great setting & super friendly staff! We stayed just one night in one of the smaller cabins with half bath. This was PERFECT for us! Cabin was clean, grounds were well maintained & all the other campers were respectful. We appreciated being able to have our pup with us & options for food & firewood delivery, although we did not order. Would definitely stay again!

VERY NICE CAMPGROUND. PEOPLE WERE VERY NICE AND ATTENTIVE. MAINTENANCE GUY ALWAYS SAYING HELLO AND CHECKING ON US. MY WIFE BOUGHT 3 OF YOUR SPINNERS, THAT WAS A NICE SHOP. LAYOUT IS COOL WITH THE LEVELS. GLAD TO SEE YOU HAD US GUIDED TO OUR SITE AND HELPED PULL IN. OVERALL VERY NICE EXPERIENCE.

We had a fantastic time at the Fancy Gap KOA. We were so impressed with how well it was run, the amazing attention to detail, fun events for the kids, plenty of things to do for all ages, efficiency, excellent service and the staff’s great attitude. Thanks for working so hard to make our stay fun, and thanks for all the time you put in to just making an outstanding campground!

The campground was awesome, right at the top of our list. All sites had trees and shade. It was very quiet and secluded all while being convenient to gas, food and supplies, and let’s not forget it’s right next to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was very clean and the staff was amazing. Highly recommended

We booked with them on the phone. When we got there, our spot was to small, had a drop at the end, and was to short to leave our truck connected. We were only staying one night, and didn't plan to dis. They said they had another spot that was bigger. We followed the guy to the other spot, and parked in it. Then he said this spot is $18 more. I think they should have told us, and given us options.

We have a 35ft RV and several sites are accommodating for it, and the staff helps back in or pull in to the sites. The campground has an amazing patio and wonderful grilled food and pizza, even will deliver to the site, so after a long drive you can relax and have a great home cooked meal. We have stayed here 4 times this year as an overnight to our destination, but longer stays in future!

Wonderful from check in to exit!!! Friendly staff and wonderfully clean and well maintained campground. The first night we ordered bbq for dinner and it was delivered to our campsite!! And delicious too. Our last night we got he baked beans and mac and cheese. Again, delicious! The bath houses were even cleaner than Cape Charles and that's our gold standard. We will absolutely go back again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. I was impressed with how well kept the facilities were, especially the bath house. The staff was kind, attentive, and enthusiastic. We will be back and have already recommended the campground to friends and family.

This was our second visit to the camp ground on the way to Asheville and we simply love it. We just need a a good reason to stay longer. The hosts were very attentive and responsive. Great camp ground that will continue to win awards for excellence.

The campground was beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in a cabin and it was the perfect size and clean. The bathhouses were spacious, clean and working perfectly. Although we didn't use any of the campsites, they all looked great! Nice variety of site types. General Store, common area with games/tables, and food choices available were great.

VERY NICE! Super staff. Wooded, mountainous, well maintained, quiet, no highway noise, ease in and out of site, good hook-ups. Will come back again!!!!
