beautiful location, clean, well maintained, friendly staff. Staff member helped us with setup, and also gave us some tips on local attractions. We visited one park he recommended and had a nice afternoon outing. We plan to come back and stay longer next time.

Well spaced out campground with easy access off 77. Hilly so some leveling to be expected but very wooded and private back in sites. Pull through sites more close together. The delivery of pulled pork sandwich was awesome surprise! Will stay again for sure!

Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff, BEAUTIFUL campground, superb location with easy access to BRP. Hands down the nicest KOA, we have stayed at in 15 plus years of camping.

The only thing that really bothers me about this campground is the difficulty in making turns into and out of the grounds. I had to make 4 tries to get backed up into the space (#64) then when pulling out, I once again had to take 4 backups in order to not drive off into the ravine. Those 60s and 70’s sites should have an RV length limit of 25ft.

Thank you for taking the time to take the survey. After our discussion while you were here you told me that you have a 46 ft fifth wheel. The site is compatible for a 42 ft. It imperative that the correct information is entered in the system so that we better accommodate your needs.

Great stay as always. Arrived Monday and departed Sunday. Campground very nice, clean and all staff are very friendly and knowable. Staff can,t do enough for you. Stayed in cabin #2, and was great accommodations . This was our 4th time staying and never had a bad experience. Cant wait until next year to return.

Fancy Gap KOA is definitely one of our favorite campgrounds. Many of the sites are situated so that there are trees blocking neighboring sites. They also have awesome dog friendly sites.

Awesome location with very nice sites. The staff was courteous and cared. It was great having the capability to order food and firewood delivered to your site especially after a very long drive. We have already made plans for a return trip.

Great campgroung, friendly staff, quick check-in, clean individual bathrooms and showers. We had a wonderful time, especially the 4 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway where we saw over 50 deer each time we made the trip. Hope to go back next year. Thank you for a great stay!

We were put on a site away from the other campers with a dumpster as a neighbor. It totally sucked.

This was our first stay here, but it rates as one of our favorite campgrounds! Spacious sites, lots of trees, and seasonal decor. Hosts were extra friendly and seemed genuinely happy to have guests. Grounds were well cared for and had a lot of extra touches showing pride of ownership. We will definitely be back!

We have camped at many KOA’s and this one was the best . Clean , updated bathrooms; friendly, helpful staff and very nice camping spots were some of the reasons we loved this campground!!

I’ve said before that your staff is your best asset. They all are highly motivated and will do whatever needs to be done. They go the extra mile to make you feel right at home. Love the changes in women’s bath house. They are always super clean. The campground is decorated wonderfully. The bbq and pizza are excellent. Wish I could have stayed longer.

It's a good thing we had an escort to our site who could help us back into it. Narrow roads, sharp turns and slanted site made it more of an adventure than we would like. A busy night so all pull through sites were booked. Exit road was equally challenging with washed out areas, more sharp turns and steep grades. Mostly quiet though music was very loud for about half an hour.

The campground was very nice, all the employees we interacted with were extremely helpful. Checkin process was quick and easy. The only thing we wish is that there was a statement on their write up that mentioned how hilly the park itself was. We are both older and walking our dog was extremely hard on us.

Stayed 9/16-18; site 27. All was good. Our site was fine, the staff were great, and the bathhouse at the office building was excellent. It’s good to have a campground that has food available in the evening after a long drive to the campground. If we are in the area again, we’ll certainly stay here again.

VERY NICE! Super staff. Wooded, mountainous, well maintained, quiet, no highway noise, ease in and out of site, good hook-ups. Will come back again!!!!
