The owners believe in customer service and do everything to make this a top notch campground ! Super clean, fun activities, nice gift shop and food delivery. Pool is clean, warm, and the campground location is perfect along Blue Ridge Parkway. We like the landscaping and quiet ambience.

The KOA site was nice and offered pool, a few games like corn hole. The gift shop is very small but has the basics if needed. We did enjoy that they have food and will even deliver it to your site. The pool is small but usable. Showers were good and bathroom is clean but they have "sharps" containers in each bathroom so don't let your kids in the bathroom by themselves. However, we will be back

Added another day to this location. Staff friendly and responsive. Facilities cleaned and deodorized quickly and regularly. No bugs. Daytime temps in the low 70's. Clean fresh air. Would definitely do it again.

We love coming to this campground. It’s so peaceful, wonderful staff, well kept, well shaded and just an absolute slice of heaven. Those bbq sandwiches are pretty amazing too!

Beautiful setting nestled in the mountainside. Very clean campground. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, kind, and helpful. We had to leave earlier than planned and they unexpectedly refunded our last unused night. Definitely recommend. ��

We have stayed at 3 highly rated popular KOAs this summer and Fancy Gap has the friendliest employees, cleanest facilities, and well maintained landscaping. All their signs, flowers, and metal characters give it such charm.

From the time we arrived until the last second we were there it was a pleasurable stay! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I have never stayed at a campground where the staff would deliver ice, wood, and even food to your campsite. This set a new standard for us! Way to go Fancy Gap KOA staff!

Very nice camp site except for the 20 bikers that left every morning before 9 am but otherwise a nice relaxing stay.

Absolutely the best KOA we have ever stayed at. Clean grounds, clean large restroom with shower. And the most outdoor activities and games to keep us and the grand-daughter busy.

We had a wonderful time, the facilities are spotless the cleanest bathroom i have seen in a long time. The staff is amazing always looking out making sure you are having a good time. Will recommend this KOA to family and friends.

Wonderful experience from the time we checked in until departure. Camp was clean, sites were large, lots of trees and employees very helpful. On site trash pick up, great camp store and camp provided BBQ and Pizza to order plus delivered to your door. Laundry room bright and clean. This KOA just minutes from Parkway and short drives to lots of fun and interesting towns and adventures! We loved it!

These guys do it right. We were greeted IN THE DRIVEWAY by a pleasant woman who gave us clear instructions to wait for a guide to take us to our campsite. Meanwhile, the smell of smoked barbecue wafted in the air. The roads are clear and well-maintained (no potholes or mud), and the signage is clear & helpful. There's a wide variety of campsites and outdoor/indoor activities for all ages.

Stayed one night. Site was not level. Front wheels of coach were off the ground. Campground was nice and well kept. Good facilities for kids and families. Resturant was nice. We ordered BBQ sandwiches.

We absolutely love this KOA! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Clean facilities, plenty of shaded lots and 20 minutes outside of Mt. Airy. If you’re looking for a quiet mountain getaway close to the Blue Ridge Parkway this is the place for you.

It was a great place to stay - we got a primo spot at the top of the hill surrounded by trees. The staff was so friendly and helpful! we cant wait to come back!!

Very impressed with the whole camp ground! Staff was exceedingly courteous and accommodating. Sites were level and clean. The whole campground was very well maintained. Their smoked brisket sandwich was excellent! I will be returning soon!

Beautiful, well maintained campground. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They had a lot of amenities for families such as badminton, a playground, a pool, a pool table, a foosball table, arts and crafts and more. Our only concern was we were in a 40 ft class A towing our truck and it was a bit tight getting in and out.

VERY NICE! Super staff. Wooded, mountainous, well maintained, quiet, no highway noise, ease in and out of site, good hook-ups. Will come back again!!!!
