Very nice csmpground. Very convenient to hwy. Well managed. Enjoyed our short stay. Great looking amphitheater. Shame it is temp closed due to covid.

Stayed in upper pull thru sites which were somewhat unkept with grass and weeds growing thru gravel pads. Good change of elevation hike coming back from bathrooms/showers. Lower pull thrus are much nicer and closer to bath house. Bathrooms were immaculate.

Love that kampers have access to hotel amenities, yet the campground is still quite secluded. Also, more inexpensive than most KOAs.

Even though we were close to the highway, it was very quiet. We had wonderful neighbors. The staff at the Days Inn were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the Days Inn was wonderful and the staff there were very friendly. The food was delicious! Need an information stand at the Hotel with flyers for nearby things to do and see. Beautiful scenery everywhere!

From the standpoint of a campground, nice. From the standpoint of a KOA, very lackluster. Days Inn had some extra acreage and decided to put in a campground. The map does not show, but the sites 1-11 are up a steep hill and a loonngg walk to the bathrooms. That roads is steep hilly, narrow and curvy. But that area is shaded. Ampitheater is nice but what camper needs an ampitheater. ran out of.

Flatwoods is a well maintained campground. Staff was very nice. We ended up leaving a day early and was refunded the day even though we checked out past the time and didn't request it. Bathrooms were very clean.

The men's bathroom was not cleaned at all on Thur. 9/24. When I entered at 6:30 am whiskers from a previous shave were in the sink. I made numerous visits there during the day and it still was dirty at 9 pm. This is not what you advertise nor Covid responsible. Hotel staff needs to be more knowledgeable about what is in the campground.

The campground itself is quite nice, with electric/water sites throughout. As it was September during Covid, campers were few and far between.

Just an overnight stay. Sights are good, but the roadway into the camp grounds and around could be a bit wider.

Everything was fine but the water. It smelled like rotten eggs. The animals wouldn’t drink it. Luckily we had a flat of bottled water. If we come again, we’ll bring our own water.

Sites were very accessible and level. Check in was easy at Days Inn. Camp ground made great use of the terrain to make 3 levels for camping. Easy access on and off RT 79. Trash pick up was a smart idea to hang the trash bags on a post to keep animals from getting to it. The owner stopped by to see if every thing was good and had security doing rounds through out the night. Very good stay thanks

This is a smallish KOA that is out of the way. My wife noted that everything was nice cared for. Great cell reception, good wi fi. Pretty location. We will make this one of our standard stopping points as we head out on various travels.

Check in was very easy. In addition, the check in person was very accommodating when We had to move to a different site because our hook ups would not reach the pre assigned site. Thanks KOA

Had a great time! Just me and my husband this trip, but will likely bring our kids and grand kids next time. Very quiet and relaxing!!! And still close to things! Really, really pleasant experience!

The views were beautiful and the sites were nice size. The people working the front desk were friendly and we enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. We liked the layout of the campground with sites on both sides of the valley as well as in the valley. That made for interesting walks. The bathrooms were clean. My biggest complaint is that the grass hadn't been cut in a while and was way too long.

OK for one night layover however, no trash cans throughout the campgrouund, especially the upper level. Pretty close sites wit no shade in the lower sites.

It would be a nice campground if you wouldn’t have built it down over a hill in a swamp! We made the mistake of coming a second time! Wonder why? Ha ha! Everyone was booked over Labor Day. Dang! Rain didn’t make it any better. You need to sell mud boots for rainy days!

Everything is great about this KOA except that the sites are too close together. And I hope they schedule some good Bluegrass concerts at that Amphitheater as soon as this COVID thing is over with.

Quiet and wet...it rained all night. But rain on the RV roof iis soothing. Staff at checkin and out were very nice. Bathhouse nice and clean.

It rained every day we were there . Site 34 needs drained. It stands full of water every time it rains. Lots of mosquitoes but we like it here and we will be back.

Although we were staying only one night, we always enjoy our visits to Flatwoods KOA. It is easy to get in and out of and the sites are very nice.

This was our first ever trip as new owners of our first travel trailer. It’s used but we love it. KOA was very nice. And we had no issues. My only problem is that we wanted to build a fire and had to pay $10 for about six pieces of firewood. You would make a nice profit if you charged half that price. No wonder there were no other camp fires. Other than that it was very nice.

This is the cleanest campground I have been in. Everything was well maintained, no trash anywhere. Staff were all friendly.

Staycation this year. Trying to stay safe. New camper. So we stayed at the KOA and drove all over the central part of WV and up into Tucker County exploring our beautiful state. Great base camp. Very clean.

Beautiful campground with rolling hills. Kinda weird to go to the Days Inn Hotel to use the pool but the pool was nice and the rocking chair loungers were very nice. Would love to go there when a concert is on at the theatre.
