We stopped overnight. The campground was very clean and well maintained. The staff was curious and helpful. Having security patrol helped us sleep better.

Very friendly and helpful people at check in. The site was very level, beautiful setting, and quiet.....exactly what we were looking for. Only negative was that we only had 3 television stations to choose from and they weren't NBC, ABC, or CBS.....overall, very pleased. We are returning to Flatwoods on way back home.

The overall park is nice but all sites are in the SUN! We did not even stay the night.

The name "Flatwoods" is misleading. This KOA is up a steep hill and then down into a valley. Possibly due to COVID-19, but the check in at the Days Inn seemed strange. There's no dog park, just a hill that's listed as "pet walk." All in all, however, this KOA is great for an overnight stay. It's in a beautiful location, and KOA guests are allowed to use the Days Inn facilities.

With only the air conditioner running the 30 amp breaker continuously kept tripping. Fortunately we had the dog bone needed to use the 50 amp power with no issues. The site was littered with bits of trash and food. On my way out I stopped to let the office know and she didn’t seem to concerned about the issues and just said “I’ll have someone look into it “. Very hard to find the place then you have to go to the Days Inn Hotel to check in. Nothing to do in the park and no staff except the one person at the hotel. This was more like boon docking than at a KOA. You should sell the place.

The campground was nice and clean. It seemed to be quiet but yet not to far from the beaten path. My complaint is I was there on a holiday weekend to spend time with Family and when I got on my site there was no water. A guy came out and looked at it got it to work for a short period of time. All weekend with intermitten water in my travel trailer on a site I paid for full hookup.

Beautiful and peaceful area. The campground was clean and the hotel staff checking you in was very friendly. Would recommend more one way signs. We saw too many cars traveling the wrong direction. There is no room to pull over if a camper comes through.

Very clean and well maintained campground with decent size spots. Do not be scared off by some of the negative reviews. The hill everyone complains about is literally that, a fairly steep but short hill that isn't a big deal. The check in staff was great. You hang the trash on a pole and they pick it up frequently. Not a lot of activities but lake is 10 min away.

Sites were spacious. Wished there would have been a pool at the campground but the one at the hotel sufficed on a hot day.

Very nice facility. The sites had enough distance between camper. Very clean and quiet. Free ice dispenser. Nice fire ring. Amenities available through the Days Inn. Each site had cement pad with picnic table. We saw security monitoring the campground. Staff are very friendly!

Great location and clean. Sewer was above grade of parking spot and there was no shade, but everything else was great.

Very nice campground. Very clean. We loved the dog area. It gave them a place for a little freedom from the leash or being cramped indoors.

I read a lot of reviews about the campground. Mostly good but some others had negative reviews. So I decided to take the chance and book a reservation. I was not sorry I did. We loved it! The countryside was beautiful and the sites are all in nice places. We even extended our stay another day because we enjoyed the peace and quiet and beauty. Sutton Lake was also beautiful. We will stay again.

Poor "Camp Office." Had to call "office" after RV was parked and unhooked to tell them that the sewer was not functioning. They said a maintenance person would be contacted and let me know. After waiting for an hour, I fixed it myself with my tools and spare parts. Still waiting for the call......

We stayed one night as a basic rest stop. Check in and access to the site was easy. Our site was in the lower part near the entrance. The site was fairly level and long enough we didn't have to unhook. Only real complaints are there is no cable TV hookup and our antenna only got three channels and they had terrible signal. Also the WIFI was non existent. It kicked us off every few minutes.

We drive a 40 ft. motorhome towing. We were put in a site that when leveling, the front jacks could not extend far enough to get the motorhome level. When leaving the site, we hardly had enough space to make a u-turn to exit. That was the only way to get out, since when towing you cannot back up. Below our site were 3 large level sites that were not occupied the evening of 6/15. UNHAPPY!!!!!

We had a very good time!! Check in was easy, and the site had everything we needed!! The bath house was very clean and the grounds were well maintained!! The firewood was a little wet, so starting a fire was a challenge! The only suggestion that I would add is that the website we used to book did not clearly indicate check in and check out times.

Easy checkin at the hotel with friendly staff. Long pull through site was comfortable and fairly level. Utilities were conveniently placed. Nice paved interior roads. Great place for an overnight stop!

The site was beautiful and well hidden from the main highway for being 2 turns off the highway. The days inn staff was pleasant and polite. The RV area was well taken care of. This was a beautiful and quiet 2 day rest on our way back East. Will stop there again if we are ever passing through.

This is a motor coach friendly park with easy pull through parking and great check in staff. It offers mountain top or in the holler sites. Clean and neat. Very enjoyable stay.

It rained everyday we were there. Other than that everything was fine. Although it would be nice if they would mow an extra strip or two beside the street up on the hill. The weeds were pretty tall

We arrived on a Friday with excellent check-in. Everyone working was so nice. We found our campsite to be clean and perfect, like it was just waiting for us to arrive. The bath house...I never got to use. I couldn’t get the “code” to work. No big deal tho, I had a bathroom in my camper. Maybe next time I can go in and then give a review of it. Yes, there will be a next time.

Beautiful campground. Site was level and easy to setup. Checking was fast and staff was pleasant. Overall great place and we will be staying again.

Neat little pod-like areas keeps it cozy. Permanent campers along back row greatly detract from the charm and prevent the 5th star.
