Steep driveway to check in at Days Inn. Did not ride bikes due to hills but enjoyed walking around. Only stayed 1 night. Campground was clean, spacious and had lots of fireflies at night. Watch for poison ivy! Met other friendly travelers & visited The New Gorge Bridge.

I would only recommend ffg or passing thru. Most all sites are extremely unlevel and the water is very poor. Difficult finding entrance and must go up extremely steep hill to enter. Would only stay as last resort and would prefer a Walmart parking lot.

Check in was in a hotel. Different for sure but was pretty smooth. We were in site 39 for one night. Site was not that level and not long enough if we were to use the patio. We did level finally. No amenities open in campground. Had to drive or walk to the hotel to use the pool. Over priced just for a campground. Could have stay somewhere else for less. Very disappointed ��

We stayed 5 days and 4 nights in the rental cabin. We enjoyed ourselves! It has a private side yard & backyard along with a huge front porch. It’s the only cabin on the site & 99% RV’s so it was peaceful. Not much to do in the area but Lake Sutton was a fun day & they have rentals for water activities. Perfect for a family getaway or even a romantic one.

It was a beautiful spot, which was a surprise given it was right off the interstate. But the campsites were secluded and quiet, and the bathrooms were great!

My stay was good. Had good fellowship with fellow campers. We’ve always been a happy camper, and very much Blessed!!!

I always enjoy my time here. I do wish there was a splash pad or pool area for the children at the bottom. This time during our stay, there was no trash pick up. When we left there was 4 bags hanging on our pole. Still enjoyed our stay. We will be back. Very nice staff. Grounds are immaculate, always. Security was present, seen them many times throughout our stay. Thank You.

The people and facilities were great! However, for a Journey KOA, our site wasn't very level. Had to use four Lynx Levelers on the passenger side. This is tough for an overnight campground.

Great for stop over. No actives. Very clean but not much in area to do.

The park was nice, quiet and clean. However, the sites were on a hill making it extremely difficult to level our unit. We were unable to get it level.

I would not stay again. It says you can use the hotel amenities But you have to walk down hill or drive . Bathroom are far. The drive to campsite was uphill & down hill to leave glad we had good breaks.

We apologize for any inconvenience experienced during your stay. The campground and hotel are dually owned, so we share amenities. Our amenities of the hotel are always free for campers to use, and when we fully open up we have a restaurant, two pools and a fitness center for use.

Campground was clean, but very few campers there, no camp ground staff around, we only stayed one night we were going to stay three nights, after we got there and saw that there was hardly any one there, we decided to only stay one night, it was kind of a weird feeling compared to how busy other koa campgrounds are now.

Nothing to do there. People were nice. Facilities were nice. Nothing for the kids to do.

Thank you for the comment. We have a playground in our campground for kids located in the little valley section if they are interested. If you come back again, we have a Sutton lake only 5 miles away which offers a great experience for the whole family!

shoet overnight stay. wpuld definitely come back; f in the area. sites are spacious and clean; park is quiet. we enjoyed the walking trail and was able to have dinner delivered from a local restaurant, which was very nice after driving all day. staff was friendly and helpful

Pleasant place. No cable. We couldn't drain our sewer because it was uphill from our drain (we have an RPod). This might be something the person assigning sites might consider. Pool in Days Inn. Very quiet, even though the highway wasn't far away. Good value for the price.

Beautiful campground with lots of opportunities to take advantage of the Days Inn next door. Sites were large and pretty. We did miss a place to buy firewood and ice at the campground. Be sure and read about check in, you must park before you enter the gate and check in at Days Inn.

No camp host. Unable to check in until 1 pm even though campground was almost completely empty. Security drove through twice each day.

We were a bit surprised when we arrived at Flatwoods KOA. It isn't like other KOA's we have stayed at in the past. The amenities are located with the hotel that the KOA is associated with and they looked quite nice. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We found this KOA to be very clean with good sized sites. We would recommend it for those who like quiet places.

At the campground there was no excitement. No kids riding bikes, playing music, no one outside cooking( but us), nothing. Boring
