Nice and quiet. Easy in and out. Not much to do in flatwoods unless you like fiesta ware. We bought a bunch for our daughter.

Very clean and well maintained KOA. Not many amenities at the actual campground. The pools are located at the top of the hill at the Days Inn. The pool is very small. There is a lot to do in the surrounding are. Hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, etc. Several lakes, rivers and trails in a :30 radius.

The staff in the hotel were very polite and easy to work with. They didn't seem to come around every day and take the trash but you hung it from a pole so no animals could bother it.

Nice view but nothing really for kids. Playground was pretty embarrassing, and had to walk a mile or drive to swim since the pool was at the hotel. Map shows a baseball field, so you assume you can play ball, but it is the schools field so it is misleading.

Beautiful sight we had and number one and peaceful. We had our granddaughter with us though and not close to the pool or playground. But really enjoyed staying there because of the Peace.

Sites are nicely spaced with several areas for different tastes incl. shady or not. You get the amenities of the Days Hotel and a convenient location. Unfortunately, some of the office staff are downright rude and unhelpful, and most sites are not level so plan on using plenty of blocks/leveling pads. Not sure if I would stay again due to poor customer service & lack of family friendly amenities.

Ok, I've stayed at a lot of KOA's over the years and it seems to me that I've just seen them go down hill. Disappointed that my site was so narrow to back into. Found trash on the ground from the previous campers. Found dog poop in the gravel of my site, just barely didn't run it over. Wish it was all better.

All good the ac unit froze up on the cabin we rented. There was hair on the beds the dishes in the cabinets were filthy it fit to use the cabin was great very nice and roomy.the 1 carpet was very spotted up with stains .The porch with the swing and glider chair was very nice.2 down falls cleanliness and the ac unit freezeing up.The cabin is beautiful.

Being that is was a KOA I was disappointment there was no store and you had to find your camp site by yourself. The roads were extremely narrow and poorly maintained. Not kid friendly. Seemed like they took your money and didn’t care about you.

The site was terrible. We are really good at setting up our motorhome. It took us an hour and half to get it level. At first the front tires were off the ground by a foot. We kept moving forward backward over to different sides just trying to be able to get it level and not off the ground. The grass was about 6” high.. 4th of July weekend no less. Rotted picnic table. And no personal to help.

Very steep roads to our Rv site and the same when leaving. Power was problematic on arrival , but the staff handled it right away. Good overnight, but not more than a day. Nothing to do there or in town

Campground and restrooms were clean. No shade - unbearable in high temperatures and direct sun! When we hooked up the inside temperature of our trailer was 99 degrees and it took a couple hours to cool off. Restrooms also have no cooling. Could pass out from heat! Also, you don't need codes to use the restrooms! That's ridiculous! So is checking in at the hotel desk for a campground!

Again this is another great KOA we’ve stayed at during our cross country trip west coast to east coast. Very clean grounds and rest rooms/showers.

We liked it. We were going to stay here at a prior stay, but didn't when looking at a Google satellite image and seeing it was behind a car dealership. However the campground is large and has a few different loops to choose from and we were surprised and happy to stay there.

I don't think KOA owns a level. Our first site was not very level the steps were 3 feet off the ground and the front tires were also off the ground. We just started traveling and booked mainly KOA because we thought we would get a quality site at each. With the exception of the Asheville, all of our sites at the KOA campgrounds have not been even close to level.

Our site was in a beautiful area, we enjoyed the quiet beauty. Only drawback, just 1 bathhouse and is was a very long distance from our campsite.

the stay was good But the Rates are to hight, and then you charged $20 more becouse we wanted to pick our spot there was no one in the park so I shouldn't had to pay more that's bull!!! I don't know if I'll stay again your not the only campsite around

Flatwoods KOA is beautiful campground hidden right off the interstate. We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended our trip one more night on the way home so we could enjoy a quiet, peaceful evening watching the fireflies put on an amazing show throughout the entire campground.

First site (37) had an open ground. Second site already had someone in the site. Third site (2) also had an open ground. I put my surge protector on site e and it was good. That sums up our stay and why we rate it so low.

we were happy with our stay. Good location to local restaurants and attractions. Staff very friendly and pleasant to deal with. We would stay again.

No cable or over the air TV. was told there was wifi but it did't work. person at the Days INN could have cared less!!!

We apologize if you had any issues with your stay. We will make sure to check our wifi functionality. We cannot guarentee over the air TV but if ask us we can always try to accomadate guests for a different spot with a more open connection possibility.

There was a deer waiting to greet us. The campground is woodsy with curving & extremely steep roads—very beautiful.

Used this spot while visiting our son in State College -very convenient for us. Our spot was a pull through. It was private with a bbq pit and fire pit as well as table and chairs and full hookups. Our only issue was low water pressure. Will visit again.

No trash cans close by. The men’s bathroom had no water the the sinks. Cloths dryer didn’t work. No cable

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have poles to hang trash if needed for the stay. Our campground has trash cans in our bathhouse if required for the stay. Our sinks are now functioning and running water. Our dryer is now working and at its best.

One night stop while passing through. Great location just off highway. Could use some lightning at bottom of hill going into CG, at night is very dark & hard to see turn and road. Use caution. Site pretty level, good power/H2O/sewer connections. Check in at hotel desk� Recommended!

Uneven sites, very small dog run, very steep roads.

We are working on improving our sites every week. There are plenty of spots for dogs to roam in the campground as we have many open woods and paths. Thank you for your comment and we appreciate the information.

Very convenient to the highway for an overnight stay. Did not get to see all the amenities due to late arrival. It is a unique KOA in which it shares amenities with the Days Inn. Very large amphitheater located on property. Would be neat to see a show. (Post Covid).

The campground and staff were awesome. Only negative I have is the shower house was incredibly hot. No air at all, And the wifi didn’t work very well

A joint camp site was request two month prior to stay and the site could not accommodate request, stating they were full. This was not the case and the site between our assigned sites was not used but for two days. The site could have accommodated our request and reassigned locations.

We had planned to stay at this KOA as an overnight on the way home from our vacation but it was lovely and quiet and we decided to stay another night. The check-in is at the front desk of the Days Inn and the staff was absolutely delightful. The bath house and laundry facilities were great. I wish the amphitheater was in use because it was amazing!
