We didn’t get the site we requested but we’re close by. Site needed to be more level. Also the cookies this time were half the size they were just two weeks ago. They did taste great though.

It was horrible and we will never stay here again. We were charged for and extra site to park my car and boat as there was no where on the reservation to state you had an extra vehicle. There was heavy police presence as well so no idea what was going on there but it was not good. No more KOA for us!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

KOAs are charging for the site you park on. No where do I know of will they allow you to park 2 vehicles, a travel trailer, and a boat on a single site. You were offered to park in an over flow parking area at no charge which you declined. Im sorry that you expected unlimited space.

Incredibly clean bathrooms, no trash or litter seen throughout the grounds/well attended by the staff, the store supplied us it’s a forgotten item & check in/checkout was fast & plesant.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground was very crowded and hard to maneuver especially in a 36 ft RV with a tow vehicle. We had to sleep on a slant because our site was on too much of an incline that we couldn't level up properly.

Good location off I75. Tight spots! We saw a lot of people have trouble getting in and out of their pull-thru spots. We got in 45 minutes early and they made us drive past our ready spot and leave and park in the grocery store lot down the street until check in time. Most of the employees were friendly and there's a few fun things in the area. Go get Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop!

Big hills but they had a spotter help us get in and out, and even gave us warm cookies. Nice place in the woods and still close to the freeway.

There is nothing to do at the camp site. They charged extra for my kids to stay in our camper.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean utilities well placed and in good repair. Definitely would stay there again.

While the staff was excellent and super friendly, we can't really evaluate the stay due to the torrential rain, flash floods and tornado warning. We just had the bad luck of being at the right place at the wrong time. We weren't able to use the pool, fish in the pond or relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. The laundry is small, but clean. If we travel this way again, we WILL stay here again.

Sites are a little close together, though it is a very clean campground . Good close access to Interstate 75 if needing an overnight stay on your way home or site seeing in the area .

The workers were nice. But they had us jammed into a slot between two other big rigs. There was no room to even open our awnings. Pulling out was a mess too, we had to ask both our neighbors to move their trucks, so we could leave without incident. We asked to extend our stay by 1 day due to inclement weather (lots of rain and flooding) on the day we were leaving and were denied.

This campground is full of fire ants. The ant hills were everywhere in the green grass areas designated for dog walking, and there were ant hills in-between campsites. The sites have lost much of their gravel base through the course of the rainy season, and as a result, sites are muddy. This campground needs some TLC in order to rate higher. Not sure we'll stay here again.

We drove from Key Largo FL on our way to Lookout Mountain GA. We stopped here after an 11 hour drive. They were very nice, and the campsite was great for a quick stop! Highly recommend.

Very nice people, but sites we stayed were very tight. We have stayed at much nicer KOA’s. That said, for the price, this KOA was acceptable.

Overnighter. Front desk, escort, and camp amenities were all great. Friendly, helpful staff and fresh cookies was a nice touch.

The campsites are all dirt so when it rains it becomes a river of mud. It was impossible to not step into puddles. We were in site 40.

This is our 2nd stay and like the convenience close to 75. Campground ok for just a couple of nights. Arrived late afternoon set up sat down on the picnic table seat and it was broken. Nearly broke a leg as it spun me to the ground. Check other side very lose. Mentioned it to staff driving by he wrote site down said it would be fixed shortly, sadly never was. Not happy they all should be checked.

clean park, super clean restroom, excellent rib dinner! If you are a light sleeper the nearness of the highway might be a problem, ask for a rear spot.

Although we were there for only one night. That one night was peaceful and relaxing. All the employees had great attitudes. They were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the complimentary chocolate chip cookies. Would definitely stay at the campgrounds again.

Forsyth is about half way between our 2 homes, so it's a perfect over night stop for us. They have an area for transient campers. Nice, flat, though narrow pull-thru sites with FHU, cable and wifi. Located a few minutes off I75. warm cookies delivered after arrival is a nice bonus.

Easy access off freeway. Very friendly! Spaces too close together. They delivered pizza to our site. Pizza is onsite.

Difficult turns to get into park. Prohibited from washing bugs off windshield???? Really! This is the only park in last 5 years that would not let you wash windshield.

The entrance way to the park is very steep and followed by a sharp right turn....not easy for a large rig. The sites are too close together.It feels claustrophobic. The people were nice. The shower my husband used was clean.

Nice place to Camp 👍 Nice clean rest / shower rooms. Was a little concerned about hot water for a few minutes, finally came in like a champ, Hot 🙂 Be aware: No Hollywood Showers! The light is on a timer at night, boy is it dark in there 😳 Close to the highway, so the sleep noisemaker wasn't necessary 🤭 Super nice staff, Escorted to our retreat. 👍 Will be Back ✌️👋

We loved this KOA. Staff, particularly Amber, were great. Upon arrival they deliver freshly baked gigantic Chocolate Chip Cookies. Delicious after that long drive. This KOA is clean, beautiful and well maintained. We intend to stay there again.

This is the best campground to stay at. Check in was less than 2 minutes and we were escorted to our site. The site was perfectly level and the water quality is great. The staff is great! Thank You
