Campground Reviews

Close to everything. Nice level sites. Clean laundry and bathrooms. Grocery store next door. Most sites have great shade. We did not have to use our awning.

This is our first choice in this area. Gina is amazing and always works hard to meet the needs of her guests. Grocery store right next door. Plenty of things to do nearby.

We were quite disappointed as to the lack of activities, and green space that KOA is known for. It basically is a parking lot. Bathrooms were clean, staff was friendly and the location was great!

The office workers were fabulous. This was a great place to stay. We will be back. Thank you so much!!

Noisy and not a good pull thru.

Nice campground.very clean. Sites where nice would definitely would stay there again

The KoA is not what I can come to expect from KoA. Our arrival directions were inaccurate and resulted in me walking around in the dark looking for where to pull in for my site. If you choose a pull thru site be sure to ask if you come in the back way if it is the FIRST or SECOND driveway to turn into. Unsafe location as the back areas were just open and homeless were walking into the KoA.

This is our 6th stay. Always enjoyable. Always clean. Very efficient check in/out

Gina is great! The campground is fair. The only challenge was the noise level. The train and highway noise made it impossible for me to sleep and was stressful. Also, the train would cause my RV to move as well. I would rate 4 stars if it wasn’t for the noise. Gina, does a great job keeping the facility in order. Again, thank you Gina for your hospitality!

Staff was excellent and super helpful and friendly. Facilities were clean and well kept. It was just a little to loud with traffic and train noise for us though.

Stayed in the 'cabin' which was located 25' from US1. It was quite loud and the patio while it looked nice was not pleasant to sit at. The campground seems to cater to monthly campers as there is nothing to do at this park. It is basically a large gravel lot with back-in sites and the entry is challenging for some of the larger rigs. Campers and people walking down US1 walked through our patio.

Great location but with that you do have to put up with a lot of noise. The wifi in my spot #15 was non existent. Used up a lot of data. Didn’t really feel too secure.

Very small park. We were in a 32' motor home with tow vehicle and had to disconnect in order to turn around in the park. You drive into a "V" with no way out. We did not use the bathroom facilities so no comment. Small dog park was OK. office with friendly young lady to help us. Price was high for this type of park. difficult to find the entrance at night.

Clean, gravel pads. I'd stay again.

as always staff is professional and courteous. The advance arrival phone call from staff was much appreciated.

Small basic RV park. Gravel roads. Easy online registration. Friendly office staff. Full hookups, fire pit, paved patio, picnic table, dog park area. 30 min walk to downtown. 3 min walk to Publix. 10 min walk to nearby restaurants and bars.

I was quite pleased at first, but on our last night a FedEx truck was parked behind us in the storage lot and had a generator running from 6:00p.m. til 7:45a.m. Consequently it was very hard to sleep and was awake off and on all night! I've stayed in parking lots for free with less noise! Before this occurred I would have and have recommended this koa highly, now not so much!

We love this KOA. Everyone is so friendly and bathrooms and laundry room are extremely clean. Will definitely be back.

Stay was fair. We were forced to stay 3 night minimum. Upon arriving we found out that we would stay one night, maybe 2 but the place had zero appeal. 50a breaker failed 10 min after set up. No partial refund was allowed. We won’t stay there again with a 3 night minimum if at all.

Noisy traffic but tolerable... futon bed broken but could still use...close to a Pubix, beach and seafood... still a great find!

Clean campground close to the beaches.

Staff was very polite and helpful. Too much road and train noise. Wish the property was a little bigger. Really needs a pool for the price charged. But, location is great. Not more than 10 mins to great beaches and very close to a Grocery store.

Too expensive for what you get. The only thing they offer is showers. Very loud at night due to highway traffic and trains going through. Whern thery say they are the smallest KOA in America, I believe it. We were put right in front of the office, so a bright light shined directly in our window at night. The shades didn't help so we had to put a thick towel over the window so.

Clean, well maintained location. Worked perfectly for our needs. If you're looking for activities at the campground you won't find any. We were given a map of planned expansion which includes a pool and play area. Freight trains could be an issue if you're a light sleeper. Multiple trains blowing their horns multiple times overnight.

Sites are quite small and close. I realize it is an older park, but it would nice if they could expand (perhaps using some of the space not set up for tents) to make spaces a bit roomier.

This KOA is probably the worst one I have ever stayed at. Tons and tons of traffic on two sides of the small park. Noise from the train wakes you up twice a night. The owner or manager of this park was not very accommodating. I had made reservations for three nights and after two nights I told them that I had to leave because it was just too noisy. He told me he could not refund my third night

Nothing fancy, great stop for a night or two. No store, no pool, no bathhouse. We had issues with electric when we got there took about 2 hrs to get fixed. Publix is next to it for convenience.
Dec 25, 2021
They were not able to give me my reward money cause my acct was paid in full before arrival supposedly but the young lady was very helpful in climbing on table with electric pole saw to cut branch so our motorhome would fit in spot and branch wouldn't prevent slide from extending. Small park but good location. Staff very nice and helpful. Would have been nice to get my 50.00 credit for points save

We loved the park and it’s a great location!

small with a few amenities in a great location quiet and very clean

What a unique and clean KOA. Gina is a great manager. It truly is the smallest KOA and perfect for what we wanted while in Ft. Pierce. If Gina will have us, we will be back.

There are no amenities here. Stop over for shower and laundry. Very noisy with traffic and factory next door. Water hookup broken. Had to turn on with pliers.
Dec 15, 2021
Nice people, central location. Road nearby. But not a issue buttoned up.
Dec 15, 2021
Office persons were polite and greeted us. Site was large and had easy hookups
Dec 14, 2021
Nice little camp ground.
Dec 14, 2021
Tight but very clean with paver patios. Right on US 1 for easy access to the area. Next to a Wendy's and Publix. Watch carefully for the entrance and if you miss, it is a long way to turn around.

This time of the year it's difficult to find something. Although the park was 25 miles from our intended area of exploration, the park and all its accommodations serve its purpose. Quaint and somewhat quiet park. We missed it on our first pass and circled back.
Dec 10, 2021
Really depends on what you are looking for. It is a very small KOA with not a lot for kids or pets. However very clean and staff were great. Location to beautiful Ft Pierce was perfect. A little noisy at night when train came through. Location and staff biggest thing going for them.

A little run down
Dec 09, 2021
Extremely noisy trains all night every night.

Great location! Owner(s) very friendly! Less than 2 miles from downtown. Will be back for sure!

The facility is small and elderly but very clean and well run. Everything works! Gina, the manager, went out of her way to be sure we had everything we needed. Plus the campground is centrally located.

We stayed here for a few months as a traveling nurse couple. Its small, but you are not packed in like sardines. Easy access to downtown. 5 minute walking distance to Publix and Wendys. The campers are usually quiet during quiet hours. There is laundry and public restrooms/shower. There is wifi, but I just used my own cell data. Verizon reception is great. Taylor creek is in walking distance for fishing. Gina is one of the nicest campground managers we have come across, and you will always see her working hard around the place. You can tell her & staff take pride & ownership of the small area they work with. Only downsides, sometimes people blast music loudly from their cars, or you hear loud partying/hooting & hollering across the creek, which isn't the fault of the campground. This doesn't happen everynight, but when it does, it seems to taper off around 1 AM at the latest. There is a train that runs by sometimes around 3 am, but it didn't bother us. Also the holiday/snow bird season can get expensive, but that is to be expected. I would challenge anyone to find a cheap place in the area during that time. I would stay here again if we came back to the area.
