Very nice campground. Upon arrival we were guided to our site by an employee. The campsites are very level and with lots of room. It was nice having internet that was quite fast.

It was just an overnight stay for us, but, it is an excellent campground. Lots of trees, pull through site, dog run was great for our little dog. Very quiet and extremely well taken care of. We will definitely stay there again on our way to the Upper Peninsula. I also could see us spending more time there and exploring Gaylord. All the staff were awesome. 5+++++ rating from us.

We really like the campground but the men in yellow working could be a little nicer to kids. The men in yellow approach kids in a very inappropriate, and intimidating way. This is our second time staying at this campground snd this is the second time one of the men in yellow intimidated and got in our kids faces. If you don’t want kids to stay then they should advertise this.

Dusty when dry. Muddy when wet.

Unfortunately it has been a very dry spring/summer so far. A lot of dust does make some areas a little muddy when it rains.

Was admonished for parking on the grass. There was no grass and the sites are short. Other than that it was good. Great for kids.

My only complaint was the cabin awning/roof was too low. It’s about 5’5” and I hit my head on it a few times, once cutting my head. Besides that, the kids had a nice time.

I normally stay at KOAs as a stop on the way to a destination. This KOA was a destination. It has trails and is close to other trails. The owners were great to chat with and the park was clean. We will go there again.

I was very unimpressed with the staff at this campsite. I received very rude comments to move my 2nd car from my site even though it was just there to pack up. So 10 minutes tops. This happened twice along with a worker getting rude with my dad when he had asked if he could check the electric because the circuit blew. The receptionist was also rude when asking simple questions. Never coming back.

Clean bathrooms. Site was nice. 10:00 quiet time not enforced. Children yelling, having fun was ok with us. Neighbor dogs came over next to our tent & had a barking game going at 11:00pm. After 20 minutes I yelled, hey folks, trying to sleep.” Someone came a few minutes later & removed dogs. Wish I didn’t have to be the one who yelled. Never enjoy being a problem. You should enforce your rul

Sorry about the noise. We were actually out until at least midnight all weekend trying to quiet kids and folks down. It is unfortunate when kids are not supervised and people do not care about other people being disturbed by their noise.

This is a spacious, clean, quiet, high quality park. It's well maintained, and the help is fantastic. Work Kampers Rich and Jenny did a great job helping us with everything we needed. Highly recommend this park for everything from overnight to several weeks stays.

The restroom/shower rooms were clean but very old. The sites have nothing but dirt for a pad and little grass. There were nice tree sites. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

We stayed June 9-12 and had perfect weather! The site was clean and the park was quiet. The roads are a bit dusty, but that is because Michigan needs rain. It was a good stay and we would consider returning again when we are in the Gaylord area. Thank you!

Very large sites, peaceful and quiet. Camped with 2 other couples who have been there before and highly recommended it. Week definitely come back. The staff are friendly and helpful too

Nice people, very nice pool and quiet campground. Maybe its normal for KOA but you need to pay for a wrist band to jump on the blow up pillow. I dont remember having to do this at other KOAs. The blow up pillow was also pretty dirty and looked to be covered with pollen, it could used a good power washing. The camp store is a short walk but not really central and this KOA is gated.

Facility is nice. Camp ground itself is a little compact. Not a lot of space between campsites. Which leads to people walking through your site. They are also strict about the one car per site rule. We were asked to move our cars twice while we were unloading. Even though the site across from us had two cars the whole weekend.

I stay here all the time with my kids, I have never had a issue with staff they have always been friendly and helpful. everything has always been clean, plenty of nature and piece and quiet. as for the bad reviews it seems if you treat staff with respect they will treat you the same. My kids may get a little obnoxious time to time and get a little word from one of the staff but thats their job to keep the rules enforced, the staff always comes to me respectfully if theres a issue and i handle it, same goes with my dogs. The owners there bust their humps to make sure everone is happy and things are in order, they have gone out of their way with requst when i have asked them for something. Always a awesome, quite, fun and clean place to relax and enjoy the wilderness.

Georjean, Kristen and Stacy were awesome! They really accommodate my husband and I. I'm greatful for there wonderful service. The deluxe cabin was more than I anticipated. Very clean and modern, two decks, grill etc.. overall a great first time camping experience! Thank you KOA staff and be blessed!
