Nice and clean , all staff were very nice and helpful. Only thing i seen that you could use more bathrooms thru the campsites .

We loved our visit! We stayed in a cabin that was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The campground was nestled in the woods with a nice store and other amenities (pool, playground and mess hall). We were close to town and to the park. The only downside was trouble with the water supply which resulted in no water for periods of time during our stay. We plan return and we recommend this KOA.

None Better! I've been on the road for 10 years, have stayed here Many times and they just keep getting Better!! During my most recent stay the entire staff, it seemed, exceeded all my expectations by accomodating me during October--which in PA--if you don't know--is Awesome RVing Weather, Halloween celebrating and end of season RVing. They made everything so easy and I Thank each and every one!!

Staff were wonderful. Very nice amenities. Sites seem pretty private because of the landscape. Camp store was well stocked. We arrived after dark and it was difficult to see how best to back into the site. Luckily several nearby campers came to asssits!

Great friendly service. Checked in right from the truck when we pulled in. Site was clean and ready for us. Bath houses were clean and up to date. Nature trail was just long enough, we saw a few deer while on the trail. The owl in the morning was a great reminder that we were in the woods. Just a great time all around.

The campground was clean and organized. The staff was attentive to details. I watched them inspect newly vacated camp sites to prepare for the next guest. Bathrooms were clean and stocked.

This was our FIRST time at your KOA. I grew up rustic camping. We have a camper but my 19 year old daughter wanted to ROUGH IT for my other daughters 21 Birthday All went Well and We made AWESOME MEMORIES, that they will remember for the rest of their lives. THANK YOU for giving us that Privaledge!!!!!!

Some of the staff was very rude and seemed irritated. Lost all water pressure Saturday and Sunday. Check in and check out time being the same is a disaster, we traveled 200 miles and get there 10 minutes before check out and we're yelled at for being early. We will not be back

We came to take some tours. The campground is very nice and staff was very friendly. We had their weekend breakfast, it was very good! Our RV site was very roomy.

It was a great weekend there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Campground was well maintained and site was clean when we got there. I do love the later checkout as well. We will be booking next year.

We had a great time, there were over family members in your campground for the weekend in cabins, trailers and tents and we all had a blast. The grounds, play areas, and sites are beautifully maintained and the staff is helpful and friendly. We have already booked our family camp out for next year and have family members on the wait list for cabins!! Until next year, thanks for the memories!!

Very helpful staff, esp the man who showed us to the site. Clean, frequent trash pick up. Sites are a little tight as is the road for a big rig. Family stayed in a cabin and it was very clean and cozy.

Water pressure was low. Our site didnt have a fire ring/grate for cooking. Apparently only “deluxe sites” have those. Very disappointing considering free state forest sites have those and literally any campground we have stayed in had them.

We had a great stay in your rustic cabin and really enjoyed it. Only feedback I would like to provide is that we love pet friendly campgrounds however our dog suffered really bad paw injuries because of all the rocks. There really wasn't anywhere paved or flat I could take him for relief. I also saw quite a few other dogs limping likely because of discomfort on their paws. Just to consider...

This was by far the best KOA we've stayed at to date. Super clean amenities, friendly staff and an abundance of activities. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Gettysburg!

Just one suggestion. You may want to change your check out and check in times for RV sites. Having them the same time created a problem for when we checked in. May I suggest a check out time of noon or at least 1:00. Not the same time. As there is no room to park your camper/vehicle to wait till the site opens. thank you.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The problem is not our checkout time. The problem is guests arriving before 2 pm. We let everyone know not to arrive before 2 pm. We do not have anywhere for people to sit. We always suggest people go to the visitors center if they are in the area early.

Very nice campground. We did not use the amenities due to other events but they all looked fine. Our site #74 was a great site except no one told us that we needed four wheel drive to back up into it. The breakfast was good, love not having to cook it! Location is fine, a little out of the way but very quiet and not much traffic. We would stay here again.

The cabin was clean and spacious. The campground was well maintained. The bathroom were private and clean. Definitely will be back one of the best KOA I stay at.

Loved the park. Loved the location. Loved the staff! Great place to stay. The sites are comfortably designed so yuo aren't on top of others. Plenty of trees. Very clean sites with a glider chair and most have stone fireplaces.

This campground was very active yet the landscaping provided privacy. Total campground family feel. Sleep was wonderful!! Very quiet and dark at night. Bathrooms are not only clean but the shower pressure is superb. Not only would we highly recommend this campground, we plan on returning.

Appreciated the facilities! All clean and strategically located such that you could multitask. (Laundry going while taking a shower.) Loved the extra large washer and dryer. Appreciated the escort to our site.

Very friendly and polite staff. Restroom was kept clean. Store provided the essentials and more. We were on campsite #2 and didn’t feel comfortable building a fire due to closeness of parked vehicle on site 3 to our fire ring.

Park and staff excellent all-around. On the day of our arrival, completion of road work outside the park was delayed. Park personnel were super in keeping us informed via texting as to how the work was progressing and time frame for completion. Excellent.

Walnuts everywhere, Dented the hood of my truck. would be nice to have a car ports or netting over the parking spots. Heat unit did not work, had a floor unit the first night then two the next day to get the chill out of the cabin. They work but they do take up floor space, Glad we didn't have kids running around. People were nice at the check in cabin and the grounds keeper was very nice guy.

Well, after a bit of a delay getting in (no fault of KOA). The sites were spaced nicely and the crew were pleasant and informative. our stay was very relaxing

Excellent! A very nice, quiet, out of the way camp site. Approximately 10-15 min drive to the Gettysburg visitor center.

Had a nice time KOA staff very friendly . Only complaint there was no where to hook up your tow car with blocking the road.

Amazing campground with alot of amenities. I'm sad they don't have room for the jump lad anymore. This campground is very well run, the staff are always nice.

We LOVE this campground and stay frequently. It's just the "right sized". Sites are nice sized and well kept. We love the mature trees and rocks surrounding many of the sites giving the feeling of privacy. Staff are always super helpful and their assistance in getting us into our site is priceless. We love the amenities and special activities offered. Other campgrounds will have a hard time matching this one!
