It was not clear when I made the reservation that the restroom facilities would be closed. If you search by the map on KOA's website, you will find that note, but if you go straight to the Greensboro site, it says that it is recommended that guests use their RVs and that additional cleaning procedures are in place. Please update your site to reflect the restroom closures.

The campground and workers were good. The price they charge to someone working in the area is pathetic. I work all over the east coast and this was the most I’ve ever had to pay.

Several mix up on communication. Charged my credit card without authorization after checkout. Sites not level.grounds not well maintained. Went up on rent was not notified until went to pay rate rent. Orginal workers were ok but alot of turn over and new staff not trained good.

The water and sewer outlets where within about a foot of each other, which seems seriously unsanitary to me. The sites are very close together even by KOA standards. And worst of all the women's restroom was locked with no code provided and when asked the person on duty only grudgingly provided after first trying to tell us it was closed because of COVID, which isn't on the website and no signs.

We were in a secondary location that was quite unlevel requiring the use of two boards under one wheel. However we use this location occasionally transiting to other destinations, and it is quite satisfactory for that purpose. Hosts are friendly and helpful.

Its hard to rate a place in only spent a quick night in but the staff was friendly and it seemed a nice place. Uf I'm in the area again I will stay there

Easy access to our spot, the escort helped. , it’s unfortunate the pool inviting as it looked was not opened. After a day of driving it’s nice and relaxing to stretch and swim in cool refreshing pool!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The pool requires permitting each season. which the county is just starting to do. I understand we keep it looking nice but trust it is still chilly. June through August is when the pool is open.

Cramped sites. Charged us 17 cents kwh, site next door charged 9kwh. NC Energy Commission is investigating them. Manager was snippy. Road noise is nearly constant. Incompetent employees didn't tell us it wasn't long term campground. And we spoke to 2 before we moved. Informed of rate increase 2 months after we moved in, not before. Owner lied about us in response to Google review. AVOID!

We are not for permanent housing suffice to say we we not a good fit for you nor were you a good fit for us. We have rules for a reason too bad you don't like them. Winter rates do not apply during peak season. Glad you moved on sounds like everyone is happier including our other guests.

We stayed for four days in your 38 ft class A motor home pulling a car dolly. We had a pull thru with plenty of room. The camp was very clean and the crew was very nice, great laundry. we will stay again.

Honestly after reading the positive reviews we were very disappointed with your campground. Our site (and most of the sites in our row) were not level, the space between sites is minimal and there are as many weeds as grass. Your dog park is mostly dirt. Check in & WIFI was good and although it was just one transient night, we probably won't be back.

Only issues we seen was the noise from interstate traffic. We realize that something you can control unless KOA would instead sound dampening device’s. Thank you.

Bathroom and showers were closed. Pool closed even though CDC said output activities were allowed.

Restrooms are still closed! When making the reservation, no one informed us of the bathrooms being closed (as was the pool etc.) This is not because of the Pandemic but because of laziness to not want to clean and sanitize the restrooms. Very disappointed!

This is a very good campground for a quick stopover. The sites are sparse and you are very close to adjoining lots. There’s a pretty high level of highway noise. All that being said the staff is helpful and very friendly. We will definitely stop again for a quick night stopover.

Just an overnight stay for us. Sites are pretty rough, gravel, and an uneven slope for sitting outside. Used the laundry, very clean. First time I've seen a sliding scale on a washer. $2.00 on display, but a 25¢ increase for each level from cold, to warm, to hot, or light wash to medium to heavy. Sign said restrooms and showers closed due to Covid. Door code worked, so you could use, low pressur

Staff was excellent, customer service very good. Site was tight, super close to neighbors. Wifi was very good. Campground served its purpose as an overnight stop. Wouldn't want to stay for any amount of time.

Fine if you're passing through or just need a place to hook up while doing other activities in the area. While staff was courteous, didn't do anything more that wasn't in they're job description as warned to me by several other campers at the site. Neutral experience but we just needed a spot to stay while visiting the area so I guess ok for that. Will return only if last option.

They were very attentive when we arrived to make sure we were all set. The only downside is that it is right on the freeway. The park is clean, a little tight but a safe overnight place. Town is not that far away if you want to run in to the big outdoor mall. 36ft Fifth wheel.

In this time of Covid, we figured that we trust KOA's so picked this one due to it's location on our travels. We were quite disappointed when we found that the restrooms/showers were not open. We like the layout and space of this KOA, but it seems a little run down. Having dogs, we took ours to the dog run which was: larger than most + training stations. Trails in woods good.

Yes our restrooms are closed to prevent the spread of covid. No staff or campers have contracted covid at our KOA. Do you realize how hygiene activities like brushing teeth in a communal restroom facticity can spread covid? That is why you need to use your own facilities at this time.

came from ohio to visit grandkids koa was nice was greeted when we arrived was given a nice little goodie bag when we visit grandkids again we will stay at the koa campground again easy pull through nice camping spot

Nice friendly staff, very helpful. Grounds kept clean. It's close to the highway, but most "Journeys" are. Most all sites are level and have plenty of room. Their WiFi is 5G and the best I've ever come across in any campground!... We will definitely stay here again on our way back thru!

Super nice couple at check in, gave us a goody bag with waters and snacks, led us to our site on a golf cart and guided us to pull thru our new RV and super welcoming. Site was level and large enough for our triple slides, awning and 40 ft RV. We were tall so they avoided one row that has overhead electric lines a little low, and warned us before selecting a site. Check in at 2 and checkout at 11 , easy to book online. The interstate noise was not that bad at all. Clean and easy to find and get to from interstate. We did an Uber to a symphony event in town, it was only 10 min away and the uber had no problem finding us and literally pulled up to our site and showed up within 15 min of ordering. Great option for RV drivers without a car to easily get into the city for events or dinners out. They have propane too. Will definitely return for any weekend events in the city.
