The owner is a particularly unpleasant person. My wife and I arrived at 12:30 (1 1/2 hours ahead of normal check-in) excited to see my 90 yr old mother who we hadn’t seen in 15 months due to Covid. She refused to wave the $25 early check-in fee in a very unpleasant way although she was quite aware why we were there. NEVER be back!�

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Wendy is not an owner and is no longer with us. We do have check in and check out times for a reason. Please arrive after 2 pm. We will accommodate for a fee for those that have to be in early. Personally You can always park off site until 2pm.

This review is based on the unprofessionalism we were met with on arrival, not campsite. Very rude attendant and made us feel like we were stupid because my husband was having trouble with the propane tanks. Wendy was extremely rude. Our son was helping at the tanks and daughter standing against a dry rotted post. My son "gently" kicked at it and it snapped. She made such a huge deal. Won't return

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Wendy is no longer with us. For safety reason your children should never be near the propane fill station when we are filling tanks. In fairness our signposts and property are net designed for your son to practice Karate. It did damage our property. Children should not be unattended and cause damage

Perfect location for our trips - right on the interstate and close to everything. We had a plumbing issue but the staff was quick to respond and relocate us to another site.

But us on a pull Thur spot that I could nod get out of had to unhook vehicle backed into a tree trying to miss there water pipes

Nice level spot. Friendly staff. My only problem was sewage line sat too high in the air. Very hard to drain tanks.

Nice place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Some of the sites could stand to be a little more level. A little too close to the interstate. Maybe plant more thick trees along the side next to the highway.

Very nice campground. Staff was friendly and gave us small gift bag with granola bars water local interest information. They led us to our site

I spent 5 hours on the road in some very heavy traffic. I'm stressed out from the drive. The host was very nice and we got our site and set up. then we had to listen to the traffic all evening and all night. I was hoping for a good nights sleep but that was impossible. Who picks these sites? Why not a mile back away from the 4 lanes. How about a 10 ft wall along the highway to deflect noise

Traffic isn't in our control. Journey campgrounds are close to the road for convenience. Can't just move a campground. Sound walls are available in residential zoned areas which don't permit campgrounds. Did you not see the map which shows us next to the highway. We don't hide the facts.

I never am disappointed in my family stay at Greensboro KOA. I was met with a smile and welcomed to the campground. I am definitely willing return in the future. Thank you for all you do for the Campers.

Great location for visiting Greensboro and the surrounding area. Also very easy access from I-40. We've been staying here from time to time for several years and it's nice to see the improvements made over the years.

It is a convenience place to stop. We have stayed here on three separate occasions when going on longer trips. Staff is friendly.

KOA staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of pull through lots and easy in and easy out. Close to high traffic road but knew that going in and it wasn't that bad. Excellent place to stay if just passing through.

The campground is fine, but the convenient location comes with a lot (I mean A LOT) of noise from the highway.

Friendly staff, very helpful. Wendy took real good care of us with wood for our fires. Our only nightly entertainment seeing our tv died a week ago.

We needed a place to hold the trailer for a couple of days. They got us in on short notice, we plugged in, hooked up, slept 1 night and left unit parked. So from that perspective, all was good but not a place we would gravitate to again. When we think of a pull through I think of staying hitched which was not an option here. But, this did the trick on short notice for us. Personable staff.

Though the staff was very friendly, the value for what you got was not very good. Almost $70 and they do not even have public bath houses open. We left went a little down the road and got full amenities for $47 full level hook ups.

Calm campground - the interstate makes nice "white noise" in the background to sleep to. Safe & secure while still having easy access to the interstate.

The campground was nice, not much room between RVs. Highly overpriced when you consider you couldn’t even take a shower. The woman never told me that or I would not of stayed there. I paid $65, minus my discount, still 65 thereabouts, for electric and an overnight stay. Instead of the goody bag, I would’ve rather had a lower daily rate! And the noise, the worst traffic!

It's on our website we are open for self contained RVs; use your own bathroom. Find the right campground for you is important if you are sound sensitive find a camp away from the highway or use the free earplugs. Off season rate dec-feb peak season is higher. Your told rate when reserved no surprise

Nice friendly staff, very helpful. Grounds kept clean. It's close to the highway, but most "Journeys" are. Most all sites are level and have plenty of room. Their WiFi is 5G and the best I've ever come across in any campground!... We will definitely stay here again on our way back thru!

Very clean, staff was very friendly! We will definitely stay here again! UPDATE: we have stayed here several times, the last time we were coming in after the office closed. I received a phone call from the manager with all the instructions on check-in. Thank you

Super nice couple at check in, gave us a goody bag with waters and snacks, led us to our site on a golf cart and guided us to pull thru our new RV and super welcoming. Site was level and large enough for our triple slides, awning and 40 ft RV. We were tall so they avoided one row that has overhead electric lines a little low, and warned us before selecting a site. Check in at 2 and checkout at 11 , easy to book online. The interstate noise was not that bad at all. Clean and easy to find and get to from interstate. We did an Uber to a symphony event in town, it was only 10 min away and the uber had no problem finding us and literally pulled up to our site and showed up within 15 min of ordering. Great option for RV drivers without a car to easily get into the city for events or dinners out. They have propane too. Will definitely return for any weekend events in the city.
