We stayed two nights in mid-November in the era of Covid, so there’s really not much to be said! The folks were friendly and helpful, the utilities all worked, the park was clean and clearly well maintained, and they had propane for us. That’s all we asked, and they hit on every count!

Nice park. Friendly staff Appreciated the “goodie” bag when we arrived. Very nice surprise. Some highway noise but convenience of being right off the I-40 made it fine.

Friendly staff. It is a Journey KOA and reflects that designation. Very convenient to area, with lots to do. Highway noise, but to be expected when they are right off highway 40.

Easy on/off the interstate. Paved roads, level pull thrus, friendly lady in office who guided us to our site. Was able to reserve online same day, which is nice when traveling cross country. Pricier than others, but would stay again.

Owners/staff always very pleasant. Great location. Like the two dog park setup. Firewood is a little pricey compared to elsewhere. It would be nice as a repeat customer with a large fifth wheel to be placed in one of the "uphill" spots if available. Even if staying for one night coming/going, it would be a nice business touch for when it is available!

We were there Nov 7 as we had a reservation at the zoo the next day. The host checked us in quickly and took us to our campsite. All the facilities were very clean and up to date. We will be back.

Perfectly adequate for our overnight stay. Near interstate so somewhat noisy. Can’t comment on facilities or amenities.

Nice setup for a quick overnight stay or even 2 nights, but not longer than that. Campground is right next to the interstate. The kids had trouble sleeping due to road noise.

Normal KoA experience except the noise is overwhelming from traffic. And the big rig sites are amazing close together.

It was just an overnight stay but it was great because it was easy to get to, check in was simple and even though we arrived about an hour and a half before check in time we did not have to pay the early check in fee. The site was easy to get to and set up in and it was even easier to get out of and back on the road. We were not there long enough to explore the area, so we just relaxed.

We have stayed at this Koa before. Really convenient in relationship to the highway. The people are really friendly and the office restrooms are nice and clean. But the sites leave something to be desired. Last year we stayed one night and it rained. We used them twice this year and it rained both nights. The site was a mudhole but other sites were dry with nice rock not occupied. Same last year.

Only an overnight headed for West Asheville KOA for a 3 night stay. Have stayed here before which is why we stopped along the way. The staff always makes you feel special here.

Love the dog park. Clean bath house. Level pull through. Only negative would be if we wanted a campfire, site is a little tight. We enjoyed our stay again.

Nice stop-over. Clean restrooms, friendly staff. Only down side is the campground is adjacent to a busy interstate so there was noise. It is convenient for a one night stop over.

The campground is well managed and the utilities were fine. Big rig sites were serviceable but limited.

Wendy was amazing. We had a medical emergency and Wendy put me at ease by recommending a medical facility and extending our stay in the Greensboro KOA. She went above and beyond for us.

everyone that worked at the koa was very nice and professional. The site was a little tight but nice. The biggest problem was the noise on the highway. Other than that we had a great time.

the lady running this campground was wonderful, we did not arrive until around 9 pm, but she was waiting at the entrance and greeted us, escorting us to our spot in the dark. Outstanding customer service.

Nice friendly staff, very helpful. Grounds kept clean. It's close to the highway, but most "Journeys" are. Most all sites are level and have plenty of room. Their WiFi is 5G and the best I've ever come across in any campground!... We will definitely stay here again on our way back thru!

Super nice couple at check in, gave us a goody bag with waters and snacks, led us to our site on a golf cart and guided us to pull thru our new RV and super welcoming. Site was level and large enough for our triple slides, awning and 40 ft RV. We were tall so they avoided one row that has overhead electric lines a little low, and warned us before selecting a site. Check in at 2 and checkout at 11 , easy to book online. The interstate noise was not that bad at all. Clean and easy to find and get to from interstate. We did an Uber to a symphony event in town, it was only 10 min away and the uber had no problem finding us and literally pulled up to our site and showed up within 15 min of ordering. Great option for RV drivers without a car to easily get into the city for events or dinners out. They have propane too. Will definitely return for any weekend events in the city.
