The Koa was clean and the people very friendly. For that, I give it stars. Our RV site was steps away from the breakdown lane of a major highway and had a 18 wheeler idling in the breakdown lane for several hours outside the RV from midnight to about 5am. Thankfully we were there just 1 night.

We were only there overnight. The spaces are a little small ( we had to move the picnic tables to pull into the spot) but it is adequate for an overnight spot.

Clean, right off the highway. Enjoyed watching the passing cars. Very nice flowers and well maintained property. Friendly staff.

Very friendly & professional Great location Extremely clean Loved the amazing goodie bag Enjoyed the pool. CDC/Government guidelines followed perfectly! Nice park which has been well taken care of. I definitely will return for a future visit! Thank you!

Everything was excellent! They even took us directly to our location. I’m not giving them 5 stars because unfortunately our spot was very close to the highway and we didn’t enjoy the noice but besides that, we will be back.

We’ve stayed at this campground several times on our travels. Always friendly staff and clean campground. This time we received a goody bag- unexpected but very much appreciated.

Greensboro KOA Journey saved the day! We were traveling back to Virginia Beach from weekend camping trip in Wilkesboro, NC and experienced a significant issue with the transmission in our tow vehicle. I left a voicemail after hours on the main number for this KOA and had a call back within a few minutes. We were able to get off the road and reserve a site. Thanks for being so helpful!

Had hoped to have Wi-Fi and cable but it didn’t happen. Sites were very small. Convenient location and proximity to Walmart were good features.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do offer wi-fi with streaming capabilities. If you were having issues, you should have communicated during your stay so we could assist you. Why didn't you say something while you were here?

We have stayed at the Greensboro KOA before. This time our stay was not as we had expected. We were in site 79, up on the hill area. The hill area was fine, the problem was that the sewer hook up for the site next to us was right by our picnic table. Not the best idea. The park was not full so we were confused as to why there was not more space between sites, especially with social distancing.

To many trees - direct tv did not work Staff was friendly & take you to your site - which I like My site was a little small in length for us - 38 foot motorhomes flat towing suv car was right at road motorhome was right at toad as other RV’s drove by they came to close to us

Very friendly staff ! All utilities were in good working order , park was clean and fairly quiet other than the highway noise . Site are a bit tight but not terrible. Some of the extended pull through site have quite a slope from front to rear , some of the rigs had front wheels off the ground . Overall we will stay here again . Once again the staff was a 10/10

Workers were nice. Too close to the highway, very noisy and had trouble sleeping at night even with the tv on. Needs a sounds barrier. Sewer hookup was uphill from campsite making it very difficult to dump.

People were friendly, pool was refreshing on a hot day. Playground was very nice for kids. Was a good 1 night stop over. Would not recommend for longer stays due to location and noise coming from the interstate.

We stayed for two nights to avoid Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaias. The host was help and friendly. The sites are close together, but there was plenty of room for our 37' Class A with slides open. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the dog park. The pool is well kept, clean and refreshing. We used the laundry facility and that was also in good order. Overall, a good value for the money spent.

No cable tv. For a supposedly premiere campground this one leaves a lot to be desired. Too close to highway and constant noise from traffic makes it impossible to sleep - go to Walmart parking lot it’s quieter.

went the extra mile to get us a pull thru as we were an overnight motor home with a tow. A little pricey seeing how the pool, showers, bathrooms and cabins were all closed due to Corona.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our pool has been open daily since it has been allowed. We do have to close it during thunderstorms and at dusk. The restrooms are also accessible although it is highly recommended you use your own facilities due to the pandemic. The cabins are closed but how does that affect your stay in your RV?

Nice friendly staff, very helpful. Grounds kept clean. It's close to the highway, but most "Journeys" are. Most all sites are level and have plenty of room. Their WiFi is 5G and the best I've ever come across in any campground!... We will definitely stay here again on our way back thru!

Super nice couple at check in, gave us a goody bag with waters and snacks, led us to our site on a golf cart and guided us to pull thru our new RV and super welcoming. Site was level and large enough for our triple slides, awning and 40 ft RV. We were tall so they avoided one row that has overhead electric lines a little low, and warned us before selecting a site. Check in at 2 and checkout at 11 , easy to book online. The interstate noise was not that bad at all. Clean and easy to find and get to from interstate. We did an Uber to a symphony event in town, it was only 10 min away and the uber had no problem finding us and literally pulled up to our site and showed up within 15 min of ordering. Great option for RV drivers without a car to easily get into the city for events or dinners out. They have propane too. Will definitely return for any weekend events in the city.
