Very Nice Campground Large Sites and easy access. We have stayed here once before. Good stop while traveling since there isn't a lot to do unless you drive into Greensboro. Interstate 40 runs right by the campground so you may experience some traffic noise.

We stayed for one night as we were making our way to Virginia. Easy access off the interstate. Staff was welcoming and informative. Driveway was a bit tight getting up to our spot. We were in a 40' coach.

Septic tank needs a connector, had to use a rock to hold the hose down and hard to dump and hold down, quiet are, a lot of shade, we did not notice the traffic from I 40, staff nice

The freeway noise was much worse than we expected from the information provided by KOA. Staff was friendly & helpful.

This is a very nice campground. Convenient to I-40 for an overnight stay. Sites are level, spaced adequately and very clean. Staff is nice and helpful. We've stayed here twice on trips and will likely do so again.

Pleasant staff; stayed for member appreciation; didn't want to go to far from home; this KOA is clean and laid out well however it appears to be more of an overnight stay in route stop. Wish it were more of a come and and stay; besides the seasonals; of which we rarely saw. I know it has to do with I-40 running right along the whole campground; that is all you hear.

The campground was clean and staff were friendly. We stayed 3 nights and left a day earlier than planned - just too noisy near the interstate. No trash pickiup. It is a fine campground for an overnight stay going to / from a destination. It should be a $40 per night stay, not $58 (even with KOA rewards).

Arrived for a two night stay, stopped at office to check in, one friendly host one not so much who led us to our pull through site. Sites are very close together and shorter in length than expected. We travel with two dogs so appreciate the dog park. It would be nice if they provided disposal bags and receptacle in the park.

Everything was great with the exception of an annoying bright yard light right outside our camper.

We just spent one night. We were in a 40ft motorhome with tow. We were in a pull through site but sites are so close that I had to disconnect my tow and back out of the site then reconnect my tow to leave.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We routinely have even larger RV's towing in that same site that do not need to disconnect and back out. But we do get folks of all skill and ability levels so if you were more comfortable doing so; it was a good choice for you.

As always clean and friendly people. I forgot to let them know that the drain kept plugging up. It happens. We will be coming back from time to time.

The gravel sites could be kept better; too much grass/weeds in gravel; could be more level, maybe needs more gravel added to sites. Biggest problem was that one restroom/shower was not functional, leaving only one restroom/shower for the entire campground. It appeared that the second restroom had been non-functional for some time.

Great location for our travels north. Always friendly staff and the sites are level - very important for a small coach without auto-levelers! We will be back.

Awesome! Friendly and helpful staff. Great walking trails. The campground is well kept and manicured. The sites are level with easy access. The pool is wonderful. Will come back again!!

Very easy access from the highways. Outstanding employees run a very clean and organized campground. It is close to I 40 but just button up the camper, turn on the AC, and have a good night's sleep. We did.

Not happy about this campground. Had a blowout the day before our reservation. The truck stop we got to didnt have a tire for us. Had to wait till next day .I called to let them know that we wouldnt be able to make it, and they would not refund me. They charged me full price.We decided to go there since we paid. I had to drive till 1:00am. I will not be returning there. Terrible customer service

You agreed to the cancellation policy at time of booking, it was provided in your confirmation. 2 days notice is required for a refund. We did offer a courtesy move you declined. We can't be responsible for the maintenance or tire condition of your equipment nor did we plan your travel schedule.

Very nice campground and the support is great. Too bad it is located so close to Interstate 40. The noise is unbearable but unavoidable. Do not stay for more than one night. We stayed for 4 nights and we left exhausted and rattled.

The camp site was ok, but tight and the fire ring was really close to both the neighbor's vehicle and our own. The highway noise was our biggest complaint and made it hard to have a conversation. We also wished people would clean up after their dogs. But if you're using it as a quick overnight stop on your way through, it would do just fine.

Only complaint is the campsite are very close and your sewer go into your neighbors seating area and your neighbors sewer goes into your seating area.

The employees were fantastic. The site was an overnight stop only, I would not want to spend an time in these spots. I did not like having the neighbors sewer hose connection right next to my picnic table.

We stayed on site #80. We have a 24 ft Cross Trek with no slides. There was not enough room to place our camp rug outside without hitting the sewer line for the site beside us. This site also backs up to the k9 area that was heavily used. I would never stay at this campground again unless it was just an overnight necessity.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

With a last minute reservation on a holiday weekend we had a cancellation and were able to accommodate you when no place else could. Maybe we should have given the site to someone that could be appreciative of the fact that the we were able to get them into the campground over the holiday period.

Chose this koa for the pool bc of grandkids. Even called ahead. Got there & pool was broken down. Staff worked hard to fix it. Got to finally use the last day. Staff had good alternative suggestions & finally got us in the pool so no complaints. Staff was compassionate & helpful! Thank you!

Stayed for a month while house hunting in the area. Great laundry facility, store and pool. The site we had was in a very quiet area. We enjoyed it.

Nice friendly staff, very helpful. Grounds kept clean. It's close to the highway, but most "Journeys" are. Most all sites are level and have plenty of room. Their WiFi is 5G and the best I've ever come across in any campground!... We will definitely stay here again on our way back thru!

Super nice couple at check in, gave us a goody bag with waters and snacks, led us to our site on a golf cart and guided us to pull thru our new RV and super welcoming. Site was level and large enough for our triple slides, awning and 40 ft RV. We were tall so they avoided one row that has overhead electric lines a little low, and warned us before selecting a site. Check in at 2 and checkout at 11 , easy to book online. The interstate noise was not that bad at all. Clean and easy to find and get to from interstate. We did an Uber to a symphony event in town, it was only 10 min away and the uber had no problem finding us and literally pulled up to our site and showed up within 15 min of ordering. Great option for RV drivers without a car to easily get into the city for events or dinners out. They have propane too. Will definitely return for any weekend events in the city.
