We weren't aware when we booked how close to the freeway the campground was. We sleep with windows open in a class B. It was very noisy. Campground employee was not very friendly or helpful either. Bathrooms and laundry were clean but because of location would not stay again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sorry to hear you were surprised we are adjacent to the interstate. We definitely do not hide the fact. Can you email us and let us know how you found our Campground. As everyplace we know of shows a map with the interstate direcly next to the park. Or did you not look at the map?

Perfect spot for a few day stay. We where just driving though and needed a place for the night. I can’t speak to the area. But the camp ground was very clean. The sights where spaced nice. The highway noise was a bit much. Not the camp grounds fault, they can’t move the Highway. But it was a nice spot.

Customer Service was Very Good !! The Park was Very Clean and well maintained! It is minutes from downtown Greensboro. I will definitely use this location the next time we visit !

Lovely little spot right off the highway. You'll definitely hear the traffic, but it's meant to be close and easily accessible. The grounds are clean and staff are friendly. Only stayed one night but got to enjoy the pool, playground, and dog park. Not much space between sites but ours was level and adequate.

Really enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff who picked the perfect site for us so we didn't have to unhook our trailer. Grounds and facilities are well kept. Nice dog park with shaded benches. Is very close to the Interstate for easy access.

Good for a one night stay. Sites are very unlevel though. Power hookups were in the front, making the use of an extension cord necessary.

The place was very clean. It accommodates pets and the people who ran it were very pleasant. The sites are of good size. It is close to the interstate so there was some traffic noise but it wasn’t terrible. All in all a nice place to camp.

Good place for overnight stays while traveling or short visits to the Greensboro area. Older campground with gravel sites that are not very level. No cable but antenna gets many channels. Friendly staff.

They showed 2 bathrooms, there was only 1. The other was covered in cobwebs. The sites were very small, uneven and rocky. Not very impressive.

The staff is great and the facilities were clean and well maintained. This is a good spot for a one night stay. It’s proximity to the noisy highway is why I have to give this place an average rating.

This KOA is just off the highway and somewhat close to places to eat. It is a small, close quarters camping site. That being said, it is clean, quiet, friendly and the staff is so very nice. The dog park is a big plus. As it was a small campground, the pool is small but clean. If you're looking for a place to refresh before or after a vacation on the way to or home, I'd recommend this KOA!

Michelle was the first person we meet upon arrival. Her energy, personality and happy to do it attitude did not go unnoticed and continued our entire stay. Loved her so much!!! We would come again. Shower house and restrooms were polished clean. Pool was small but loved the rockers around the pool. It was an awesome stay!

Perfect place to pull into on our way through town. Great for big RVs. You can hear traffic from the highway but we picked this place for the proximity to the highway. Nice shaded spots.

Campground is literally 300 feet from I40!!! WAYYYYYY too noisy. Would never recommend. Otherwise friendly check in

It's very conveniently located to the interstate, but the traffic on the interstate also produces some noise. Very nice people running it. We have stayed there before and will return

Well run campground and management was very nice and accommodating. This is the second time we have stayed here. Convenient to the interstate. Site was a bit of a challenge to get trailer level but doable. Would stay here again.

Well even though I enjoyed my stay, and would recommend this K.O.A. to others! I don't really understand why since my site was empty & ready to go on, that even though I was early for check in I had to pay a $25 early fee!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hey Albert; Yes our check in time is 2 pm. We need time between our guests in order to maintain a nice campground. The early arrival fee is optional as you can schedule your travel to arrive after 2pm. We try to accommodate those that need an exception for a fee. please come after posted check in.

Nice friendly staff, very helpful. Grounds kept clean. It's close to the highway, but most "Journeys" are. Most all sites are level and have plenty of room. Their WiFi is 5G and the best I've ever come across in any campground!... We will definitely stay here again on our way back thru!

Very clean, staff was very friendly! We will definitely stay here again! UPDATE: we have stayed here several times, the last time we were coming in after the office closed. I received a phone call from the manager with all the instructions on check-in. Thank you

Super nice couple at check in, gave us a goody bag with waters and snacks, led us to our site on a golf cart and guided us to pull thru our new RV and super welcoming. Site was level and large enough for our triple slides, awning and 40 ft RV. We were tall so they avoided one row that has overhead electric lines a little low, and warned us before selecting a site. Check in at 2 and checkout at 11 , easy to book online. The interstate noise was not that bad at all. Clean and easy to find and get to from interstate. We did an Uber to a symphony event in town, it was only 10 min away and the uber had no problem finding us and literally pulled up to our site and showed up within 15 min of ordering. Great option for RV drivers without a car to easily get into the city for events or dinners out. They have propane too. Will definitely return for any weekend events in the city.
