Joe and his crew at the sackville koa is wonderful always checking to see if we needed anything , will just stop and take a minute out of there busy time to chat with us . I give them 5 stars plus .

We loved it so much we stayed another 9 days! Joe and his family are awesome people and we enjoyed our chats! Can’t wait to be back next year!!!

We had a great stay. We were in the C-section at the back. Other than the highway noise and the AC things on the big trailers running all night all around us it was great. Lots of things for the kids to do.

Are stay was great, love that there is so much to do for the kids, I have an autistic grandson and she was still able to enjoy the playground and pool. The staff was very friendly I would recommend this place for anyone with or without kids. Thank you. Jeanette

This wasn't our first stay, and it won't be our last? By far our favourite KOA between Ontario and the East Coast. The owners are kind, friendly and helpful; our cabin has always been immaculate; any issues we have had were rectified immediately; the kids have a blast with the park, movie, pancake house crafts and ice cream hut....I could go on- but this is a family favourite our crew loves.

Cabin was beautiful, very clean .only down side was they arcade game did not work very well and eat a lot of the kids money without them actually playing the games . Other then that it was an amazing time !

This park is great for kids and the weekender. You have to be tolerant of the kids on the bikes but they do move over and let you by them. There was a fence going up on the way out before the office. Great job to all and thanks for the great time we had.The services such as laundry and washrooms were always clean. The office was not cluttered and there was a partition glass at the counter.

Amazing campground with excellent staff. One guy who is there went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. We forgot tent poles at home and he found what he could to get our tent up and functioning. As well as dry. I would recommend KOA to everyone.

Great campground for kids and families. Good playground and bouncy pillow, kids loved it. Cool bikes! Canoeing was fun too (rental). Cannot reserve a specific site online. Site was clean and great! Great customer service, pool was a bit dirty this time around but it was a heat wave so I'm sure it was in good use

Pool was green and cloudy Garbage on random sites where it looks like people have been living there in broken down trailers. (We watched a tow truck bring one in) it really takes from the beauty of the trees and such. Also the pump on the dump station at the sites must have been broken. Lots of noise from the highway. Couldn't get cash back for arcade

There was dog feces at the site, the campers next to us actually used a portion of our site to keep their bikes and things. It's perfect for trailers but impractical for tents as the sites are uneven rocky and tent pegs are difficult to secure in the ground. If I had a trailer it would be a wonderful campground however for tents I would not recommend this campground.

The playground and amenities are very nice and great for kids. The only complaints I would have is the sites could be more level and spaced futher apart. For our stay we were all on too of one another which allowed for zero privacy. All in all well worth the money and we will definitely be coming back!

They really shouldn't invest into a new BBQ for their cabin. And the AC wasn't working other than that really nice campground and friendly staff.

The property has so much potential, but once you are beyond the initial wooded campsites the campsites are stacked one on top of the other with little to know privacy. Hook ups were to close to the next campers patio area often making it uncomfortable. Also a lot of junk, old bbq, machinery, etc…

We stayed in a one from cabin and we loved it ! It was so cute , very clean and stayed very cool inside even though it was very hot outside which was great ! Staff was very friendly and helpful . My son loved the pool very spacious and canoeing was awsome ! I will definitely be booking in for another stay next summer

We stayed during the week, so it was probably more quiet than on weekends, but that was a good thing. The sites and facilities were very clean, there were plenty of things to keep kids busy, and the staff was courteous and helpful. We could hear highway traffic in the distance in the morning, but that's really only an issue if you're in a hybrid camper with canvas sleeping areas (as we were).

This was her first time at a campground with our 2 year old. On our first night we ended up taking her home after having a very hard night. We came back the next day to pack up our site and go home since she was seemingly sick. When I checked out, they were quick to refund me for the 3 nights we had already paid for, without question. We will absolutely be back!

Very busy campground this weekend. A lot of noise with a lot of children. Parents let their children go on their own. Playing basketball next to campers up until10pm.

I loved my stay at Koa sackville,Joe and his crew were very good at helping us at everything we need,i am saying that because i have seen negative feedback from others and i don t think they give you the right point of view,don t be afraid to go and see it for yourself,it is a family playground were there are plenty of things to do.

The campground was packed which actually made it more fun for us and our 5 kids. They loved the banana bikes and the pool and of course the big bouncy pillow at the playground. Staff was helpful and friendly and the bathrooms and showers were clean. They serve breakfast at the pancake House on the weekends for a good price and also have movies for the kiddos at night when it gets dark. We had fun!

Entrance area very tight. In and out RV’s clogs up the entrance so going in and out is difficult. Road into our site very tight also and kids on rented bicycles in the way also play area right by the narrow roadway

The sites where we stayed are very small back-in sites but it worked for the weekend. If we had been staying for a longer period of time, we would have liked the bigger pull-through sites closer to the pond, which is where we usually stay. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It is a great place to stay and we will be back!

Beautiful campsites and service just found it a bit “ tight” with limited room to maneuver your large RV. It’s a good job my husband is an excellent driver otherwise parking would have been a nightmare… lol everything else was wonderful! We will probably be back but just be a bit more selective with our spot…

Beautiful campground, I particularly like the dump station that non campers can use for a fee.

You couldn't find a friendlier place, or a better group of service providers like Joe and the crew ( Family). Have been come here for years, and will continue to do so. Great times at KOA Halifax West. Thanks Joe.
