We absolutely loved the KOA. The customer service, the beautiful lots and the campground overall was a wonderful experience. We stayed there for 6 nights and truly enjoyed our stay to the fullest. It was extremely clean and the playground was beautiful and fun for our 4 kids. We will definitely be back again next year for our family vacation and will definitely recommend to others travelling.

Need bring the old BBQ back there better for the rainny weathers we stay in the rain wasn't able to cook so we had to order food didn't mind doing that but had a great stay I love the way the campsite is lay out

We had a great time. The grounds are clean. Sites are shady and the pool was perfect. The kids loved the bouncy pillow. Excellent deal on firewood. We’ll pass the word.

We stayed in one of the RVs and it was amazing! ���� Everything was very clean and well stocked. The staff were all really friendly and super helpful. No complaints. 100% satisfied! Happy to recommend KOA to all. Thank you for an awesome visit. We will be back!

We came here to be close to the city to visit some family. We can see there have been many upgrades since we were here last with new cabins, pool improvements and lots for families with children.

Le chien du voisin a japper sans arrêt jusqu'à 23h45, et encore le lendemain, c'est très désagréable et difficile avec de jeune enfant !!!

Good stay. Well located close to Halifax. The sites where we were very difficult to enter, and parking was a problem. Bathrooms were clean which was great. Park was in good shape The area beside the recycling should be reconsider, really the difference to get a better rating. Lots of stuff that could be hidden from view made the park feel a bit low class. Staff excellent and friendly

Staff could of been more friendly and.welcoming. A few of guys were very nice, but overall I was disappointed with my experience. I have been to a few KOA's and they were amazing. This one not so much. Need to hide the old equipment so it is out of site. My son couldn't play basketball as it was all gravel and water. Bouncy pillow was surrounded by gravel? Maybe sand would have been a better.

find your campsites are way to small for today's rv's and not enough room to maneuver around and have to ask camper's around to move their vehicles to get in and out

Our site was waterlogged on day 2 and made entry into the RV unpleasant. There's lots of trees. RVs are packed closely in the clearings. The roads are gravel with potholes. Rules say children MUST be supervised at all times. We were walking around when a youth came racing round a corner on a bike, saw us - braked and ran into my wife. Hurt her leg. The office did not care that someone was hurt.

This was our 4th time staying here and I am sure it wont be our last. It's a very clean campground, with lots to do like bike riding, canoeing, playing games at the arcade, enjoying a barbeque with family and friends, or relaxing around a campfire at night. Staff are always very friendly and accommodating, especially Cole. He is a gem to this campground and one of the reasons we keep returning!

The unheated pool is unenjoyable for adults as well as toddlers. The store closing at 6 pm during the week is too early; campers are still onsite & may want to purchase firewood/rent a bike. Also unreasonable the ice cream hut is not open during the week, even two hours a day would be nice. Games room was filthy, layers of dust on the screens & controls. One machine took $ but didn't work.

Friendly and helpful staff but the campground, especially the games room is in dire need of updating. We would come back if refurbished games room and playground.

Only had 4 nights, not long enough. Lotsto do, staff so friendly and helpful, grounds nice and clean, everything you need is there, very relaxed atmosphere, had four children with me and they loved it here with lots to do, especially the pool. I just can't wait to return but for a longer stay.

We liked the campground. The boys were a little disappointed that there was no area to throw a ball/kick a soccer ball and that the basketball nets were broken. The bathrooms could have been checked on more frequently, but It was a very busy weekend. The staff was very friendly! We will book again.

Booked online, amenities clearly states gas grill at cabins, so we planned accordingly. Got there & discovered there are none. The staff rudely brushed us off and told us oh well, that's what the website says, nothing we can do. Please don't advertise things are are NOT available. Also, washrooms at the playground location need more frequent cleaning, as they were often disgusting.

Staying at Halifax West KOA was great! I will definitely stay there again. I loved the bouncy pillow very much, as it was able to throw me up in the air at 230 pounds! I felt like a kid again!! ��Ϝ��Ϝ

Owners are great...lots of kids having fun...close to many amneities..visited Lunuenburg, Chester, Halifax, Digby from here....park it and visit....clean laundry facilities, lots of recycling bins...definetely recommend in the high section

There was lots of things for the children to do! My main complaint is how dirty the bathrooms were! I understand there are lots of people using them but the seats were more often than not covered in urine...

We had our cooler stolen and thrown in a ditch. Seemed like the staff couldn’t have cared less. Packed up and left that day before something else got stolen. No enforcement of campground rules.

There are a lot of trees from the entrance to where it opens up to the pull thru sites. We got a 20’ scratch along the drivers side that is 4” down from the roof line on our brand new GD 351M that even went through the decals! Plus there are kids everywhere yelling and riding around in these 3 wheel rental bikes that are low to the ground and hard to see. Not a pleasant KOA experience!

You couldn't find a friendlier place, or a better group of service providers like Joe and the crew ( Family). Have been come here for years, and will continue to do so. Great times at KOA Halifax West. Thanks Joe.
