Sites were clean and level. Campground was very nice. Pool, washroom and showers were very clean. They had bikes to use as well as canoes. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice and close to town but still very secluded.

Not at all what we expected from a KOA. Drive through sites are literally on top of one another. If you had a campfire you ran the risk of damaging the campers next to you. Some of the areas in the park were deplorable. Old car wrecks on site��� Would never entertain staying here again… best word to sum it up is “dump”.

Had a great time other than my granddaughter getting injured on the bounce pillow in a freak accident, Joe , Christine were great as always and Shannon j a fantastic job getting our cabin ready vacation at the koa is never a bad experience

Superb service! So kid friendly. Staff was amazing, they had my cabin cleaned early because we went from a tent site one night to a cabin the next. Such charm and very clean. Thank you

A little disappointed rented 3 kayaks and asked that water be emptied, and employee stated it wasn’t his job so we did it ourselves. COVID rules not enforced, pool numbers not verified and registering for a time slot meant nothing. Good sized lots

Staff was friendly and helpful, park was clean and well maintained. Close to home for us, so it was a great way to get away for a couple of nights without having to travel too far.

The campsite was good. The property itself appears to double as a scrapyard and we had at least one person stumble on to our campsite with our 3 young children present *looking for a party*. Otherwise uneventful and will not return.

The experience was fine. We loved the canoes and the playground for the kids. Very cute location. Joe was great and super helpful. My only complaints would be the loud people after 11pm, and our side of the campground had a lot of junk/garbage and dingy areas which didn't help the atmosphere much. But, especially for families, and for the location, it is as great.

Very disappointment in how we were treated after an incident with a another camper (grown male, with no shirt and 2 black eyes) approaching our children, making them feel uncomfortable and hugging them. This male also approached my husband on 3 separate occasions trying to start a fight. When we talked to management they said they would tell him to leave but didn't. We did not feel safe.

Besides the rainy weekend and some things still closed due to covid we had a great weekend. Our friends kayaked between the raindrops and the kids all used the bikes. Was hoping pancake house and ice cream shop would have opened.

Did not live up to KOA expectations. Have stayed at many KOAs and the facilities are not up to par with others we've enjoyed.

We booked for three weeks. Its a great campground with a lot to do. They rent canoes, 3 wheel bikes and then there's the pool. Very close to stores and a tims a few kms away. Management was very accomodating and friendly. My only suggestion would be more lawn maintenance. Our grass was getting rather long over our time there. Overall it was a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the nice trees lots. Although we don’t have small children, we saw that there was a lot for children to do. We will definitely recommend to our family with small children.

The cabin was wonderful and clean. We arrived early which was great and had a clean lot. However, we had issues with the cleanliness of the showers. Washrooms were ok however showers needed some TLC. Also, we arrived to the pool with 6 other teenagers there. We were asked to leave before them as the pool reached capacity because of covid. We tried to explain but did not seem to matter.

We swam in the pool a number of time and we were the only family in the pool. That was great.

Beautiful campground, I particularly like the dump station that non campers can use for a fee.

You couldn't find a friendlier place, or a better group of service providers like Joe and the crew ( Family). Have been come here for years, and will continue to do so. Great times at KOA Halifax West. Thanks Joe.
