The site was gravel for three tents which made setting them up very difficult for pegging and uncomfortable to walk inside, the sites they are very close together. The staff are friendly, the kids had a great time and it was fun for all.

Campsite was a little muddy in some places, could use some gravel in those areas. Campground was great, kids loved the pool and trampoline.

As a former worker there (I was the Pancake Lady for years), it was like coming back home!! Good to see Joe and Shannon again!

The stay was wonderful .. would be nice if the store was opened later and if the quiet times were moved ahead to 12 midnight weekdays and 1:00 am on the weekends especially ! Also ..the breasfast house needs more efficient cooks in the kitchen .. Pancakes were done n sausages not even thawed and not really cooked well PPL were getting frustrated !! Teach the kids how to cook efficiently

when someone (from the campground) told you that you have enough space because you stay only one night and it's raining and you wouldn't go out because of the rain..when the neighbour have is tent on your site

Joe and his crew at the sackville koa is wonderful always checking to see if we needed anything , will just stop and take a minute out of there busy time to chat with us . I give them 5 stars plus .

We had a great stay. We were in the C-section at the back. Other than the highway noise and the AC things on the big trailers running all night all around us it was great. Lots of things for the kids to do.

Are stay was great, love that there is so much to do for the kids, I have an autistic grandson and she was still able to enjoy the playground and pool. The staff was very friendly I would recommend this place for anyone with or without kids. Thank you. Jeanette

This park is great for kids and the weekender. You have to be tolerant of the kids on the bikes but they do move over and let you by them. There was a fence going up on the way out before the office. Great job to all and thanks for the great time we had.The services such as laundry and washrooms were always clean. The office was not cluttered and there was a partition glass at the counter.

Amazing campground with excellent staff. One guy who is there went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. We forgot tent poles at home and he found what he could to get our tent up and functioning. As well as dry. I would recommend KOA to everyone.

Great campground for kids and families. Good playground and bouncy pillow, kids loved it. Cool bikes! Canoeing was fun too (rental). Cannot reserve a specific site online. Site was clean and great! Great customer service, pool was a bit dirty this time around but it was a heat wave so I'm sure it was in good use

Pool was green and cloudy Garbage on random sites where it looks like people have been living there in broken down trailers. (We watched a tow truck bring one in) it really takes from the beauty of the trees and such. Also the pump on the dump station at the sites must have been broken. Lots of noise from the highway. Couldn't get cash back for arcade

There was dog feces at the site, the campers next to us actually used a portion of our site to keep their bikes and things. It's perfect for trailers but impractical for tents as the sites are uneven rocky and tent pegs are difficult to secure in the ground. If I had a trailer it would be a wonderful campground however for tents I would not recommend this campground.

The playground and amenities are very nice and great for kids. The only complaints I would have is the sites could be more level and spaced futher apart. For our stay we were all on too of one another which allowed for zero privacy. All in all well worth the money and we will definitely be coming back!

The property has so much potential, but once you are beyond the initial wooded campsites the campsites are stacked one on top of the other with little to know privacy. Hook ups were to close to the next campers patio area often making it uncomfortable. Also a lot of junk, old bbq, machinery, etc…

We stayed during the week, so it was probably more quiet than on weekends, but that was a good thing. The sites and facilities were very clean, there were plenty of things to keep kids busy, and the staff was courteous and helpful. We could hear highway traffic in the distance in the morning, but that's really only an issue if you're in a hybrid camper with canvas sleeping areas (as we were).

This was her first time at a campground with our 2 year old. On our first night we ended up taking her home after having a very hard night. We came back the next day to pack up our site and go home since she was seemingly sick. When I checked out, they were quick to refund me for the 3 nights we had already paid for, without question. We will absolutely be back!

You couldn't find a friendlier place, or a better group of service providers like Joe and the crew ( Family). Have been come here for years, and will continue to do so. Great times at KOA Halifax West. Thanks Joe.
