Very disappointment in how we were treated after an incident with a another camper (grown male, with no shirt and 2 black eyes) approaching our children, making them feel uncomfortable and hugging them. This male also approached my husband on 3 separate occasions trying to start a fight. When we talked to management they said they would tell him to leave but didn't. We did not feel safe.

Besides the rainy weekend and some things still closed due to covid we had a great weekend. Our friends kayaked between the raindrops and the kids all used the bikes. Was hoping pancake house and ice cream shop would have opened.

Did not live up to KOA expectations. Have stayed at many KOAs and the facilities are not up to par with others we've enjoyed.

We booked for three weeks. Its a great campground with a lot to do. They rent canoes, 3 wheel bikes and then there's the pool. Very close to stores and a tims a few kms away. Management was very accomodating and friendly. My only suggestion would be more lawn maintenance. Our grass was getting rather long over our time there. Overall it was a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the nice trees lots. Although we don’t have small children, we saw that there was a lot for children to do. We will definitely recommend to our family with small children.

Turned out to be a great weekend. Had to change booking a few times due to COVID but the owner was more than helpful and accommodating.

Playground with pillow was enjoyed by kids. Dogs enjoyed the loop walk. Wish we had time to try the trikes and pool. It would a nice spot to rent kayak along the river.

Friday was quiet, Saturday was loud music lasted too long. Also people running through camp sites ar night and during the day disrupts our dogs causing them to bark. Great site we were in

I love going to Halifax KOA, there are some good spots if you could get those spots. Was there this weekend at A06 and a spot I would not want again due to it being right beside at sewage collection tank. When the wind blow a certain way you really know it is there. Section D is my favorite.

Staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The campground is clean, sites are a great size and there is lots to do for the whole family.

we had an amazing weekend .. the owners and staff are always friendly and helpful, the site we had was absolutely beautiful and the washrroms/showers we very clean.. I recommend anyone that has the chance to stay here it will be a great memory.

Park was dirty and unkept. Garbage piled everywhere by main buildings. Site was not mowed/cut and debris left about.

Enjoyed our stay. Very accommodating when our first site was not to our likings. Second site was perfect and the weather was great . Only down fall was we ran out of wood first night so was a bit chilly so loaded up the second night and was toasty warm. Hoping to get more trips in this year as it’s nice to have some where to go locally

We had a great stay. Our campsite was perfect. Lots of space between us and our neighbors. Facilities were clean as was the campground. Staff was very helpful and polite.

Beautiful campground, I particularly like the dump station that non campers can use for a fee.

You couldn't find a friendlier place, or a better group of service providers like Joe and the crew ( Family). Have been come here for years, and will continue to do so. Great times at KOA Halifax West. Thanks Joe.
