Light bulbs were burnt out in cabin, exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work, neighbor dog barked all night, smoke detector in kitchen didn’t work, kitchen faucet sprayed outwards when turned on. Ended up leaving a day earlier because the dog barking was too much.

I love that this campground is so pet friendly, however what I did NOT appreciate is that there was no enforcement of quite hours. I ended up having to relocate my site after my 1st night due to a family with an out of control dog and constant barking which caused me to NOT get a good night's rest and disturbed my own dog. Also please put a sign on the slot for key drop, i had no idea

We had some kind of wasps nest outside our cabin which was concerning; we had allergic family members. The staff at the Registration center was not friendly at all (The middle-aged woman who checked us in was great, but the young men/women at the store just did not have good customer service skills). It was also unclear when the bouncing pillow would open. Sat morn it was chained shut for hours

We were first given a spot that could not fit our camper size. We were then sent to a pull through site that had a sewer back up which was covered in raw sewage and lyme. We could not sit out and had to go buy tarps to cover the mess. We were reimbursed for our stay, but it ruined the whole weekend. We booked way in advance but weren't given many options.

Wonderful weekend with friends for our daughters softball tournament! Facilities were clean and staff was great. Our tent location was fantastic, we will definitely be back!

The stay was great with the company we had and the weather but the campground itself is pretty crammed in and run down. We live locally but hadn't tried this one yet and would say some updates could be nice.

We arrived on a rainy Wednesday and could not get our trailer level in the mud. The first thing I would recommend would be to make sure all sites are level with gravel covering the entire site. The second recommendation would be to make sure everyone is abiding by the quiet hours. We had people partying until midnight on Friday. I feel security needs to be elevated when you have a packed house

Had another great weekend at the campground. Only complaint is that the firewood we purchased at the camp store was so wet we were not able to start a fire.

Good stay! The pull through site are very tight to turn out of, having to breach into neighbors site to run. Site was unlevel but it worked. The cable was out for most of our sat and the beautiful pool was closed. Those things being said, park was clean and staff is friendly. The location is fantastic and the activities are great!

Bath house was dirty! Site 36 was horrible! There was a slope in front so we couldn’t pull forward then we were being yelled at to bring in our awning. There was a huge Boulder across from our site almost on the road so no one could take a wide turn! You need to widen the roads and not blame the campers tring to relax and enjoy their site!!! Loved the location. The woman who checked us in was very friendly. We were very disappointed with the bathrooms. We stayed at the campground 4 nights and the bathrooms and showers were not cleaned the whole time we were there.

Site was too small. We have a 33 ft fifth wheel that barely fit on the site. Our truck would not fit so we had to use another area to park our truck. Picnic table needs to be replaced as it in bad shape.

We had a nice stay at the campground. We were disappointed that the pool had closed as the week we were there it was hot. We were also disappointed that the grapes and grinds was closed all week, only to open on Friday which was the day we left. We did appreciate the free night of camping though!

The camping sites are very close together and some people had a hard time getting in/out of sites. I had to go back in and get my gift bag and free firewood as a KOA rewards member. The young lady who checked me in merely said oh I forgot. I only knew about this because the people we were camping with received theirs. Younger counter people need customer service training.

Loved the campground, but not having to pay 2.00 a day for my dogs. It makes no sense except to gouge clients. Additionally, why would a couple have to pay two amenity fees? Again, seems ridiculous! FYI, I bring my dogs & don’t even use the amenities. So, loved the campground, but Antietam doesn’t charge for dogs & didn’t charge twice the amenity fee.

Sites are too close together. No nightly patrol, as neighbors were loud past 11:30 p.m. The $10.00 daily resort fee should be dropped after Labor day, as pool is not open.

It’s always nice staying at the HF KOA. If I happen to be solo camping, I always feel safe and the extra amenities & activities are awesome to have in case of surprise weather. Love this place!

The sites are very roomy. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the campground is very run down looking. I didn't let my grandson play in the playground because I was afraid he would get splinters from the wooden playset, which are falling apart. The sites are rocky and not very level. This campground really needs a facelift.

So big! It is difficult for big rigs to maneuver the roads. It is a very popular campgrounds with some very intrenched campers. Our site was fairly level once we dropped off the paved road. Long enough to unhook. Large dog park and mini golf seemed popular. Don't rely on map for exit strategy. Turns are narrow single lanes and big rigs cut across corners.

Great campground, staff was excellent. Lots to do on the campground and lots more in the surrounding area. Only negative is the sites are a little close together. Will defiantly stay again.

Great facility. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great camp store. Grounds and Grapes is a great idea and very convenient. Missed the wine tasting and pancake breakfast, but was happy to see lots of activities.

As always, staff were friendly and helpful. Only issue we had were the size and spacing of the campsites. We were in lot 147, and it was difficult to fit the camper and vehicle in the spot. I’ve never seen a campsite so tightly spaced. It actually detracted from enjoying the stay.

We thought that we had requested a tent site with a level pad along with water and electric. We ended up with an RV site which did not have a level pad. In fact our site was on a downhill slope so we slide down in our cots all night long. WiFi was intermittent at best on the crowded weekend but worked better during the week with less campers. Bathrooms and showers were clean.

Difficult to get my rig into campsite 144. Could not turn into it from the access road. Trees in the way. Had to cross another campsite from another road to get in. Same to get out so I had to wait for another camper to leave first. Site wasn't level. Used 3 boards on left side. This was the worst campground we have ever stayed at. When we booked our spot we told them our length yet the spot we were give didn’t have enough room to park the truck. On top of that since the spots were so tight every time someone came in with a camper we had to move because in order for them to get in they have to run on to our lot to make the run down the road. Will not recommend

Upon arrival, after being reassigned x 2 due to site issues which were minor inconveniences, the good news is that our reassigned site was "perfect" & one of the best! The campground was wonderful with friendly accommodating staff. We utilized the River Rider's, were able to walk to Harper's Ferry twice and enjoy the wonderful history of the campground and the area.

Way to tight! Not worth the money. Kids bouncepad stained all the kids pink and ruined clothes. Dog park has no light and you charge $ for pets! Not worth the hype!

The views and history was very enjoyable. Only disappointment I had was people allowing their dogs to be off leash and run freely . It was an almost issue with my dog who had a leash.

Tented here for just over a week. I enjoyed every part of my stay. Facilities had everything I needed and the check-in/store staff was very friendly and helpful. Fyi, the tent pads are nice but will fit just your tent. If you have say an awning or an additional tent, the sites can be hit or miss to accommodate that. I got lucky and fit all my gear on my site. Would definitely come back.
