Really pretty area, but our pull-thru was very close to the road on one side and a drop-off on the other. First stay for us so had no idea which sites would have been better for us. Office ours limited. Not had that problem before.

Nice campground overall, but sites are VERY hard to get in to and out off and to be level without worry of falling off back of steep incline. Bathrooms are only cleaned once in the morning and never even checked on remainder of the day by evening they are gross. Never saw any staff outside of the office, had to request twice for garbage to be picked up as someone left it on our site.

I was in campsite 46 and when leaving campsite 46 they poured a concrete curb for what reason I don't know and my left front stabilizer jack which was up all the way deal caught that curb in Bennett where I had to replace it I don't know what the idea of that curve is for but it sticks up in the air quite a bit in other words the state cost me another $50 for a new stabilizer jack

I brought 6 of my grandkids there to spend time with all of them at the same time, I do this every year. I LOVE that you have so many activities that they can do. I will always take them to a koa for our getaways. We have a great time while we are there and it is fun for all ages.

This was one of the nicest KOAs we have visited. Everything was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and the price was great! Definitely will return!

WOW! Such a fun campground. Conestoga wagons and treehouses! Our site has a beautiful view across the beautiful Kentucky valley farm area. Loved it! Thank you, Sonya and Jason!

Restrooms were very nice. My only negative thoughts are that the office should stay open from opening till closing straight through and the wagons should be available sooner than 4 pm. We’ve already recommended it to someone.

Such a great location for a KOA with scenic views in all directions and so close to the Highway it works great for a few night stay. The grounds are well kept and the cabin we stayed in was so spacious I never wanted to leave! Close to local amenities and quiet enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of camping.

We stayed in the Conestoga wagons and my family had an absolute blast. The wagons were beautiful and clean. There were even severe thunderstorms one night and it didn’t leak at all. Highly recommend this experience.

Farm and frontier! The staff were friendly, as were the chicks, turkeys, and ducks. The updated laundry made us feel civil after caving. Thankfully our sewer hose stretched to the dump station, left to right, and the hose made our rig civil. The pool was great! Yes you can hear the highway, but it’s no Cross Bronx traffic jam and horns. The tree canopy was full, and it was a refreshing stay.

Unlevel site after being told I would have a level one (I have no automatic levelers on my rig); noisy with kids running wild. The bathhouse was immaculate and the staff very pleasant.

Absolutely love this place, quiet, staff is kind, polite, and helpful. The owners go above and beyond expectations. They have put a lot of hard work and sweat into this place over the year to improve it. It’s beautiful. Thanks for everything!!!

This KOA is very clean and well maintained. The electrical hookups appear to be recently replaced and the spotless bathhouse set up provides large private rooms with a sink, toilet, and shower. There is a good mix of campsite types capable of handling everything from tents to large Class A RVs. The pool was sparkling and the playground equipment looked new. Great experience!

It was amazing, very clean and tbe bathroom were so enjoyable. Being a handicap it was a blessing to have bathroom that accompanied me and others. The playground was a plus along with the swimming pool and bounce place. The kids also enjoyed the mini golf also. Thanks for a very respectful place to have our vacation.

Very nice person who signed us in. There was some confusion over our spot location due to the location of the electric on site 22. We started setting up on site 23 in error. Our site was not conducive to put the picnic table close to our RV and be able to use our gazebo (it was on ashphalt, therefore we couldn’t secure it in the ground.). The bathrooms were the best facilities ever!

This guy and his wife in the trailer next to us wouldn't respect our concerns over their camp fire smoke blowing towards our trailer which was seeping into it, causing my wife & I headaches and smoke smell throughout the night. Used fan to blow most of smoke out before the alarm goes off... management sent young girl down to talk to them in mean time laughing & smiling with them. Will not be back

I am the person you spoke to on the phone. Yes we were smiling and laughing, but had nothing to do with you. We took care of the issue. Sorry you will not return when we did do as you asked.

Staff was super friendly! Pool and playground in nice shape. Great proximity to a lot of fun things. Near freeway, but I didn’t notice the noise. Only complaint was our pull through looked like it was on a newer added on area with zero trees/shade and a steep hike uphill to access other park areas; like we weren’t even in the same place. Not terrible to level. Only 4 satellite channels.

My reservation got cancelled by accident but Taylor and Whitney were very helpful and in the end I was able to get compensated and make a new reservation. This saved my weekend as I had already planned time off and travel plans. Awesome customer service, very helpful and friendly employees. Bathrooms and showers impressively very clean and spacious, plenty available and never had to wait.

We were supposed to stay in the treehouses and were extremely excited. Once we got there (an 8 hour drive from Florida) we were advised that the treehouse wasn’t ready for us. We had nowhere else to stay and were placed in a cabin with views of the highway and listened to traffic all night long when we were desperately needing/wanting nature. The cabin door was rotted and fell off the hinges….

Overall great time! The bathroom was the nicest I have ever seen in a campground. Our only complaint was we shared a campsite with the site next to us, I guess it’s a “buddy site”, which would be fine, except neither us or the neighbors were made aware of this upon booking. We booked the vacation rental and the one room cabin (great view). Both were very nice inside and we enjoyed swimming in the pool. The only complaint would be that the vacation rental is off by itself and seemed forgotten about. The garbage was piled up outside and never taken to the dumpster. We were there for 3 nights and it still had the bags of trash piled up that were there when we arrived.

Friendly staff. Good amenities, miniature golf, pool, stocked, catch and release, fishing pond, bouncy pillow, and a great bathhouse. (Brand new.) Our back in campsite was pretty level. We have a short Class A. We had room to set up a 12’ Clam, and a 10’ X 10’ canopy on the site. I-65 is nearby, as most KOA’s are, which made our site noisy at night, without our A/C running.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Pool lacks luster camper pads were not concrete so naturally they were terribly unlevel. We had to move to a different pad because it sloped in two directions so bad that we would have needed construction blocks to level. We also witnessed a huge tree limb fall right in from of a camper two days in a row.

Great KOA, just make sure to check your site for dead trees. We had several large limbs fall in our camp ground and one hit our RV. Great staff, good pool, great bathhouse. Easy on and off from the highway.

The Xpressway traffic noise is horrid I was told that the primitive camp ground wasn’t rocky to drive stakes in. It was and I had the chop away at stones to put stakes in. I had no sleep in the tent from traffic noise. Up early and packed by 930 am. Paid for 2 day C/0 mng./.owner for refund or discount for next da, not day I stayed . Owner said NO. She wd not call me to discuss though left #

Staff was fantastic! The bathroom set up was probably the best and cleanest in any KOA. Individual bathroom & shower(with a sink). Pool very clean!

We took grandkids to stay in wagon. They loved the pool and playground! Love the wagon only suggestion I could make is maybe a key holder up on frame by door. I was always afraid I lose the key! We will be back!

Amenities were great. But tents sites were down hill and filled with tree roots. No ring for fire. The bugs were unbelievable no candles or spray helped. The picnic table was broke. You would think each camp site being at least 35/night I paid 50 a night since I had kids you could have one thing decent.

The Horse Cave KOA is so beautiful. We stayed in one of the treehouses. There were only a couple cabins that were in use and maybe 5 campers. The Koa is very nice good for kids. We did have a tornado go through during our stay and it was scary since we were in a tree house. However, the treehouse was stunning and absolutely worth it. There are also covered wagons you can stay in. You are close to mammoth caves and a other fun activities. Small campground with a ton of charm. We will likely return.
