Beautiful setting and outdoor patio area. Loved the Conestoga wagon. Sheets were great! Bath house was spotless. Exceeded expectations!

Loved this KOA. Our view from our spot was absolutely beautiful. It was so nice and especially the people that worked there. We accidentally locked our keys in our keep and the girl working there knew exactly who to call. We were on our way in less than an hour due to her help. Will absolutely stay here again if in the area.

Check in was efficient. Our site was concrete with a beautiful. Restrooms were clean. There have been so many great improvements to your park, since our last visit. While we don’t use all the frills, we enjoyed our short stay and will return! Those tree houses are going to be amazing and the covered wagons are so cute!

Originally I picked my own site, paid more to do that, but it was not like the map depicted it. Changed sites. New campsite was nice, a little on a lean so had front of camper pretty high to compensate. Road noise was an issue. First night got no sleep. Trees or a Cement border would help alot. Staff were really nice. Campgrounds were clean and well taken care of.

The only major complaints would be the highway noise and they way that the dump station is configured. You have to come at it from the wrong way to access the items from the drivers side.

The site was great, and everything was very clean! The bathrooms impressed me with being full bathrooms!! The only bad thing was housekeeping was cleaning the bathrooms before checkout outside of the times posted on the door. They had them closed off so we could not use the bathroom when we woke up, and had to go to the McDonald’s across the street. This was around 9:45-10am

Horse cave was clean around the campsites. Very good showers! Very polite staff. Close to a lot of things to see & do.

The location was very good, and the showers were exceptionally well appointed and maintained. The downside was that the daily trash pick up was very late in the afternoon (once it was after 7pm), and when I ordered two bundles of firewood I was told they would delivered right away, but they were not delivered until the desk was reminded over 2 hours later by my wife.

When we arrived we are assigned to a site that did not match what we booked - we could not fit so were reassigned. New site had a spectacular view and was very spacious, but did not have sewer - which is rare at a KOA. The biggest disappointment was that then when we went to dump on departure, we learned that the only dump site is on a hill. Had to deal with tanks when we got home, which sucked.

Avoid site 87! There is a septic/sewer pump a couple feet from the picnic table that churns continuously and smells terrible. We were unable to tolerate the smell to use the outside space and ended up leaving a day early because the stay was so unpleasant. All full hook up pull through have front row view and noise from the highway. I do not recommend these sites at all.

Staff not helpful. Layout of park not user friendly. Pull thru sites in upper level not traditional pull thru and not big rig friendly. Sites are kind of level. Bathrooms and play areas are nice. Dump Station is only one way and have to go thru park twice if your sewer/water hookups do not align with the dump station. Only 4 TV channels and internet spotty.

Very clean well kept park. Staff was very accommodating, they worked with us to move to a different site. Showers and bathrooms were very clean.

The only reason I gave 4s was because a lot of the campground was under construction. The bathrooms were gorgeous, single rooms with toilet, shower and sink. All tiled. Store did not have much of anything. Improved sites very functional. They were building 2 treehouse accommodations. Dog park was not very secure, holes in fence and gates didn’t close very well. We had a wonderful stay. Horse Cave KOA was very clean, well maintained and the camp site was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

The grounds are kept up and it is very clean. The remodeled restrooms and showers are very nice. A special shout-out to Tracey who went above and beyond to cover up a huge mud puddle with gravel on our site. It was a game changer for us and our dog:)

We enjoy the campground. The staff in the office is very friendly. We always enjoy our campsite. My wife also likes playing miniature golf and walking around the campgrounds. We intend to camp here at least once a year.

We had lots of problems. The curbs in the campground are horrid. Whoever engineered that campground screwed up the roads and curbs. It's dangerous to RVs when parking. The sites aren't level, like #36, really bad. We had to move to #27 WITHOUT a sewer, but we paid for FHU. The nice cement pad site across from us wasn't level either. Then the washing machine wouldn't work right either.

Roads need to be paved and some work needs to be done to level the campsites. The staff was very friendly and accomadating.

I only gave it 4 because the location is right on the highway with the loud traffic. Everything else was wonderful. It was CLEAN and the staff was great. It was quiet other than the traffic noises and jake breaks. They are even doing some updates and renovations it looked like. The sunsets were very pretty on the other side by the wagons.

Our stay was a gift to my husband! He absolutely loved our stay in the Conestoga wagon. The King bed was so comfy! Our view was gorgeous! Loved our fire pit and the Adirondack chairs on our patio! It was a wonderful experience! The staff, Whitney and Tayler was so friendly, kind and helpful. The bath house was very nice and exceptional clean. We recommend this stay 100%!

Nice facilities. But laundry was expensive and 1/2 the washers didn’t work. Overlooking the interstate wasn’t ideal, but the noise wasn’t too bad and the back side view was nice.

Staff is very friendly. Many activities to do. Only complaint is that if you camp down at the bottom it’s noisy do you the highway being right there. I would recommend this campground just try to get a higher campsite away from the highway.

This was our first time staying at this KOA. Our site was a little unlevel but not bad. The highway noise can be loud at times but we didn't find it to be too bad. We live on a state route so we are used to traffic noise. All of the employees I encountered were very helpful and nice. I would definitely stay here again.

This KOA has a lot of potential. It is in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately it’s right off the interstate, but that didn’t bother us like it would in a city. It was kinda fun being woken up to roosters. Biggest problem was the trash. During the week when it’s quiet employees need to be cleaning up. The Horse Cave KOA is so beautiful. We stayed in one of the treehouses. There were only a couple cabins that were in use and maybe 5 campers. The Koa is very nice good for kids. We did have a tornado go through during our stay and it was scary since we were in a tree house. However, the treehouse was stunning and absolutely worth it. There are also covered wagons you can stay in. You are close to mammoth caves and a other fun activities. Small campground with a ton of charm. We will likely return.
