The staff made everything easy for us (especially during this Covid time) , the grounds were tidy , the bathroom/shower facility was outstanding (probably the nicest we've ever seen) , I-65 noise was constant , but for our Mammoth Cave visit this campground was A-OK .

Friendly check-in, super clean and modern bathrooms, great view of The Valley. We stayed there for an overnight stay, and it was perfect!

It was great! Loved the camp ground. I know we were out of their normal busy season but it’s easy to tell that it is a quality campground.

Our site was under construction. Instead of gravel, we were on mud. Sewer dump pipe was too high above ground to use. Used the campground dump station instead which required parking on quite an incline. Restrooms / shower rooms were very nice. WiFi was close to worthless.

Nobody was on duty. We were left a map and highlighted route to get to our site. The route was down a very steep hill and no snow removal had been attempted. The sites are apparently new with poor drainage and very steep grade. I am lucky to have not wrecked my vehicle on the way down.

I am sorry you had a bad experience. We got hit three days straight with rain, sleet, ice and snow. We tried removing what we could. The office closed early and there was someone on site at all times if you needed assists.

There wasn't anyone at the office anytime we stopped by, but they were available by phone and always very nice. We loved the idea of the covered wagons as rental cabins, what a hoot! I HAVE to come back to stay in one!

Several reasons we will look for a different campground next time: freeway noise was disturbing, while the web said sites were under renovation, they still were minimally equipped, services (water, sewer, and electricity) were all spread out on the site which made it difficult to hook up, we spent two nights, but we never were able to see any staff in the office or store. They were closed every ti

I am sorry you had an unpleasant stay. If you needed assistant you had a number to call. This is our off season so we are in and out through out the day. Someone was on premises at all time. The highway noise is out of our control.

Arrived at night and there was no lighting on the roads. Roads were terrible except for the middle two strips. Map was hard to follow. Tree branches were being hit by our coach. In the morning, we could see that they are trying to make a great Campground but they still have a way to go.

Nobody was there to check is in. There are a few trees that need cut down. I nearly took my awning off on one and had to swing around one trying to get into the worst shaped camping pad while trying to dodge a railing trying to get my camper back far enough to use our steps without a 2 foot drop. That campground is NOT big rig friendly & they need to say so.

Our stay was a 2 day lay over to wait to dash home to Indiana. The campground was nice and there was covered wagons to stay in. very easy to fine. Also so much to see and do. Will be back.

I love this place but the Conestoga wagons are advertised as heated but the heat froze up & didn’t work. It was 16 degrees that night & despite being brought an old space heater I could see my breath inside the wagon. Thankfully I brought some extra blankets or I would’ve had to drive 2 hours home late at night because I would’ve frozen. I recommended better back up heaters. Crazy I paid to

This is our first winter with the wagons. We are learning our trial and error. The heater that was brought to you was brand new out of the box. (newer model type of heat). We will work on getting these issues resolved for the future.

We had a really nice stay. Great that the camp is open year round as we had two really nice days in early December and were able to take advantage of the weather. The bathrooms were excellent and very many appreciated. Many thanks.

After the stellar service at Great Smoky Mts, this was not as impressive except for the showers, heated floors, outstanding. We arrived late, no one to greet us or point out the camp site which we found very difficult to find in the dark. But all ended well.

I have stayed here twice and loved the neatness and cleanses of it both time. Super easy to check in and out and can’t wait to look at my calendar to see when I can stay again. Love it

We loved it. A couple of negatives - the heaters in the wagons could not keep the wagons warm and our heater froze up outside - a side note (the remotes need to be simplified or have instructions in the wagon. Last thing - the water pressure in the bathhouse was very low...

My family and I loved your place. We hated we had the issue with the heat on Saturday and had to leave. But, that would not make me not to choose your facility to stay at again. My children thought it was the nearest thing, EVER. The bathhouse was so clean, only issue I had was water pressure in the first bathroom on the right, other than that, nothing at all. We hope to see you guys in the future

Absolutely horrible! Small sites, no sewer hookups (I paid for full hookups), and sites are so unlevel that I could not level my RV. If I had arrived early enough I would have cancelled and gone elsewhere. Very poor, shame on KOA

We came from Michigan so 16 family members could enjoy Thanksgiving together safely. We all brought our own food and enjoyed a socially-distanced Thanksgiving dinner in the spacious pavilion. The 6 teenagers had fun with the bounce thing, basketball hoops, and volleyball. The 3 families who stayed in deluxe cabins appreciated the full-size refrigerator, satellite TV, and strong WIFI.

This is a fabulous campground, very clean and everything seems so new. We had a great time. My only complaint, not that there's anything that can be done about it, is that it's located on a hilltop that gets very windy at times. I almost lost my awning one morning.

Great camp ground sites, but the attendant couldn’t follow the conversation very well and couldn’t get us firewood because, there was no light in the building that holds firewood. Apparently there are no flashlights

Enjoyed our stay and loved the location relative to kentucky down under and mammoth cave. My only complaint is that my gps took me into the middle of no where, in the dark, with my kids and camper in tow. When I mentioned it at check in I was told it happens a lot. Might want to put that in big red letters on your website! And, mention it when people call for reservations. Turn left at Shell gas.

Enjoyed staying at the Horse Cave KOA. The staff was very friendly and it was clean and well kept. My Grandson enjoyed the jump pillow and the mini golf.

Absolutely loved our little cabin rental! Friendly staff. Restrooms very clean and above my expectations. I have stayed at a few KOA and this has to be my favorite. Fun kid area and dog park. Close to attractions. Will be back to stay in the wagons next!

The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. They were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The park was incredibly clean and well maintained. It was quiet and felt safe. I really enjoyed my visit.

The Horse Cave KOA is so beautiful. We stayed in one of the treehouses. There were only a couple cabins that were in use and maybe 5 campers. The Koa is very nice good for kids. We did have a tornado go through during our stay and it was scary since we were in a tree house. However, the treehouse was stunning and absolutely worth it. There are also covered wagons you can stay in. You are close to mammoth caves and a other fun activities. Small campground with a ton of charm. We will likely return.
