Stayed in site 93 with a 5th wheel. The site had a lot of slope, but the RV was leveled manually. About a 1/4 mile off the highway w/ moderate noise which didn’t bother us & I liked watching the traffic. Upon check in the KOA system charged me for another annual membership which I need to call and straighten out. Bought firewood @ the store which was to be delivered but had to make a 2nd trip 2

Very convenient with easy access to freeway. Not a bad place to stay overnight, however the Interstate truck traffic noise was hard to block out even with running the AC full time. The sites were gravel, but it was hard staying out of the mud, especially since it rained setting up & tearing down.

We rented a cabin. The beds were horrible! The queen mattress had a huge dip in the middle, there was cigarette burns on sheets/ bed cover. The refrigerator had old blood on shelf’s. The futon mattress smelled of dog. The whole cabin smelled of urine. The shower had very little pressure. I kept hitting my head on the rack hanging on shower head due to it sticking out more than the water flow.

I was traveling with just my kids & we had trouble getting our trailer to sit down on the hitch. Will & Whitney were SO kind & helpful. The property was very clean. Our dog enjoyed the dog park & my kids really enjoyed all the play equipment. Thank you for a great stay!!!

The tree house was better than I could imagine. The staff was polite and very informative. I can't wait to go back!!

Just one night stay however we’re planning on making this KOA a yearly visit. Staff were very polite and the grounds were kept really clean! The farm animals were a big treat!

Nice location. Smaller campground with good amenities. No sewer hookups so meant bathrooms were used more than normal. Bathrooms were new and great layout. Biggest complaint was that all the bathrooms were disgustingly filthy the first day. Second day they were cleaner but still dirty and soiled.

We arrived 8 pm after hours, only to find there was no toilet paper in the cabin. Exhausted from our travels, thankfully, we found paper napkins in our truck.. Shower curtains had orange mold at the bottom. Hot water &bleach will clean it up I told the young girl @ at the counter, she said it was from the dirt that washed from ppl and they could not get it out. Either way hot water & bleach!

Great campground and wonderful staff. Some parts of campground are hilly. I liked the exercise, some may find that challenging. Really needed different commode and shower set up and need addition to laundromat.

Extremely nice facility, bathhouse was very clean. Staff was extremely friendly. Will definitely be back!

The grounds were very nice...road noise was horrible. Did not realize that not all sites were not full hook ups. At times the bathrooms were not kept up.Staff was friendly.

What a great campground! We stayed in the Conestoga Wagon and it was just great. Over looking a nice field/farm with great views for a sunset. Well spaced so you didn't feel on top of one another. The wagon itself was well outfitted and thoughtful. The king bed was so comfy and I'm picky! Chairs, fire ring, gas grill provided. Bath house was amazing. Only negative was interstate noise.

The grounds are beautiful and everything appears to be brand new. Our site was huge as well and and provided us with plenty of room. The downside is the proximity to the interstate. There is no barrier at all between the cars on the interstate and the campground. If it weren’t for the location this would be my favorite KOA I’ve ever been to.

We Absolutely loved the treehouse we were there to celebrate my sons 18th birthday extremely clean exceeded our expectations and the staff gets a 10 plus so friendly we are ��coming back!!!

Loved the pull in pull out. Made it so easy with the trailer we pull behind our motor home. The tree houses looked really nice. The showers were newly built or remodeled. Very clean.

The campground is really really great but the problem is there's a lot of noise from roosters and turkeys and chickens plus the highway noise is very annoying

I have been on a 2 month trip, I stay blindly in. KOA but on this trip I have experienced 2 KOA that are not at the KOA standards and this was one of them. The sewer was over floating, garbage was left out in front of bathroom for a day and half. The staff was friendly. Now I have to check the place good before staying blindly in a KOA

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Trash is picked up daily. Sorry for the inconvenience. The trash was moved but campers were dropping there trash by bathhouse. We resolved that issue. We had a back up and had to call out a sanitation service due to a guest flushing baby wipes in witch caused the issue.

Very easy to deal with on phone and in person. very clean restrooms. or should I SAY THEY WERE GREAT.BIG and personal hand showers.

Lots of noise from interstate, but that is common. Very nice view from the wagon side which overlooked an open field. Saw deer running through. Purchased firewood for a fire but wood wasn't seasoned. Not a very good fire. Sad about that fact.

With full hook up it would be nice but I did not have full hook up and the dump station is absolutely ridiculous to use with a class A RV.

It was amazing. The welcome committee (chickens & turkey) were awesome. The campground was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Located too close to the expressway. I don’t understand this. Why not build out of sight of the road. Parallel sites are to narrow.

Very nice campground and great staff. Looks like they are constantly improving the facilities. For full disclosure, some may not like the interstate noise but we found it refreshing watching the world go by and the interstate noise didn't bother us at all.

Our initial sites were so difficult to get level in our motorhomes. We used all the blocks we had and still had a hard time. We went back to the office and they were nice enough to move us to different sites. Other than that it was a nice place to stay a few nights.

We've been camping here for 10 years now, MY HOW IT HAS CHANGED, FOR THE BETTER! The bathrooms/ restrooms are the best I have ever seen, and they have added many new full hook spots

The Horse Cave KOA is so beautiful. We stayed in one of the treehouses. There were only a couple cabins that were in use and maybe 5 campers. The Koa is very nice good for kids. We did have a tornado go through during our stay and it was scary since we were in a tree house. However, the treehouse was stunning and absolutely worth it. There are also covered wagons you can stay in. You are close to mammoth caves and a other fun activities. Small campground with a ton of charm. We will likely return.
