We have stayed at 17 KOAs this year plus non KOAs. This was the worst campground ever. Sites are very tight but also incredibly unlevel. Manager/owner was nasty. Dog park had feces overflowing for 3 days ans the fence does not touch the ground allowing for escape! Wireless kept kicking us off. SUPER loud with interstate and roosters at campground waking us at 5:30am. Never again.

Nice campground poorly planned putting concrete along side of road with electric and waters ok.these sites were made for motorhomes but pe p ple who buy motorhomrs don't want to use public bathrooms and need sewers. Loved the cover wagons

Very well maintained campground. Sites are clean and mostly well shaded. Bath house is cleaned daily and has individual rooms with a shower, sink and toilet (some have tubs for kids) and are gorgeous! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pool is nice, putt putt course is nice, playground is nice. By far my favorite campground so far. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone!

The pull through sites are not the best....full sun and a lot of highway noise. The campground is really really nice, lots to do for kids, best shower rooms ever and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed our two nights at campground. Very large, clean personal restroom/shower facilities! Access to campsites was excellent. Enjoyed viewing the sunsets over valley to the west! Thanks for a great experience.

We stayed there for 4 nights and saw the beautiful caves. I was very impressed at the water pressure (I know...menial). It is nice to have a good shower and washing the dishes is nice and easy. Our camper probably appreciated it also. The facility was very clean, and the folks were beyond nice. Thank you for a very pleasurable experience.

We were a late check in and someone was on our tent site, so we had no fire ring or table to use that night or in the morning. We left for the day in the morning to only come back and find someone else on our site. Luckily we talked and they moved, but either the tent sites need to be better marked or someone needs to check sites to make sure people are on the right one. Bathrooms weren’t the be

Our space (#43) had a tree across from it that was close to the road and made it nearly impossible to back in to our space. We had to try multiple times and when the staff member came by as we were struggling, he said “yeah, I’m going to remove that tree”, which tells me that this has been an ongoing problem that they are aware of. Also, the concrete pad was very unlevel. Very crowded too!

Staff was accommodating and friendly. Bathrooms were clean and inviting. My campsite was comfortable and a reasonable distance from the bathrooms and showers. I stayed for one night. But would not have been opposed to staying another if circumstances would have allowed.

This is a very nice KOA. The sites were spacious and we weren't on top of our neighbors. They had recycling which so many places don't have. There was lots of shade and the amenities were great too.

Our campsite had no shade trees compared to other sites. On 90 degree days it was very hot and miserable. The campground had other shaded spots available but we were not given any of those options. Our site was also near the farm animals and we were constantly shooing the chickens from under our camper. Restrooms/showers were very nice though.

Liked the individual restroom/shower setups. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice campground!!

We stayed for two very hot July nights. Campground was vert clean, check in was very easy, wood delivered to the site promptly and trash was picked up from the site. The pool was a welcome refreshing experience after a hot day and the showers were spacious. My husband commented that they look like a spa!

Cabin was super clean and neat. The bathrooms at this place were fantastic. The pool was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and even delivered firewood to your cabin.

The staff was very kind and helpful. I did have an issue where I tried to book a tent site with water and electric but the website said they were no vacancies for those. When I got there, the sites were available. I did not move to one of those sites, because I had already set up camp and that would have been too much work to move everything after the fact.

Notified office that we would be unable to make it 3days before arrival by email after many unsuccessful attempts to call. Was informed that I had to call to cancel. Explained I couldn’t reach anyone and email went unanswered. Two day stay and no one noticed we weren’t there speaks volumes fir your RV park.

Pool was delightful in this heat. Bathrooms are as nice as any nice hotel (which surprised me). The featured tree & covered cabins are too cool! Staff was present and kind. The two reasons this didn't get 5 stars (one fixable, one not) is the store offerings not really in the spirit of homemade foods and crafts in the area (KOA should look into coffee/cafe-style stores) and the highway noise.

We were only there a short overnight RV stay but the kids loved the jumping pillow and other many options in the playground area! Right off the highway and a short drive to Mammoth Cave.

Clean, beautiful, comfortable, and friendly. The refrigerator in the cabin didn’t work so well, but I’m sure they’ll figure that out.

Dump station on wrong side of road and not level making emptying difficult. Site said pull through but in reality was just a straight gravel area which was difficult to know where your site was. Ask for a shady spot and had very little shade and full evening sun. Bathrooms could be very nice but were not kept clean and supplied with toilet paper and paper towels Would not return to this KOA.

Bathroom floors very dirty, trash not emptied at dog park. No shade at our campsite. Wonderful facilities for children. Great location. Chickens woke us up at 5:30.

Really disappointed by our stay— broken futon frame, broken lamps, dirty shower, stained box spring cover, dusty and dirty space overall. Both the futon mattress and the regular bed mattress desperately need to be replaced. We loved that there were farm animals, but worry about how well they’re being cared for. Site 31 has ruts and holes that made it impossible to level our camper. It also has a dangerous large dead tree that needs to be removed. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Good bathrooms, showers, pool, etc. Good hookups. Close to the highway so there is noise from that but otherwise quiet. Campsites weren't shady and not very separated. Some right against the drive paths. Overall it was a good stay

This is a super clean well maintained campground. Location is very convenient near highway. The sites further from the highway are better and quieter but even our site which was the closest one to the highway - the sound didn't bother us. The views from the campgrounds further back were great, and the covered wagons really were an incredible setup with a view we will stay in next time.

So disappointed! My family & I have stayed at 7 KOA’s in past 2 years & all of them have been a pleasure, except this one. Our deluxe cabin bathroom door was too big for it’s frame & couldn’t close or lock. There were peep holes in the bedroom & bathroom doors, provided hand towels instead of standard towels, no sheets for the futon. No paper towels or hand soap, due to Covid per front desk.

We enjoyed the campground tremendously. Our children loved the jumping pillow and other playground equipment. We thought the bathrooms were exceptionally nice as it was your own personal bathroom and easy to take/shower our children in. The only complaint was that the campground had limited amount of staff working, so the wait in the office was longer than we expected.

The Horse Cave KOA is so beautiful. We stayed in one of the treehouses. There were only a couple cabins that were in use and maybe 5 campers. The Koa is very nice good for kids. We did have a tornado go through during our stay and it was scary since we were in a tree house. However, the treehouse was stunning and absolutely worth it. There are also covered wagons you can stay in. You are close to mammoth caves and a other fun activities. Small campground with a ton of charm. We will likely return.
