Loved the uniqueness of staying in the wagons. Having the view over farmland to wake up to was amazing. Also liked the individual toilet and shower cubicals. The grounds have lots to do and are very peaceful of an evening. Will definitely be back to explore more of the area!

Fantastic! We stayed in the covered wagons. The view was so beautiful from the patio area. Loved the bathrooms and their accessibility and privacy. Excellent place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a cabin which had several problems including cleanliness, worn out mattress and a parking space that was unlevel and inaccessible due to a 4-6 inch drop off from the street. My RV bottomed out and scraped the street. I had to park by the office since the campground had no closer suitable parking. The dog park was nice but the poop bag can was overflowing with bags.

My daughter fell off a deep step in the swimming pool and broke her ribs, causing a difficult and worried stay for me. No notice given that there would be an asphalt project going on two feet from my husbands vehicle at 7:30am, causing us to leave our cabin 1 day early, due to noise and chemical odors. No dishes, pans or utensils in cabin. We did not get convenience or peace of mind for our $

Booked a deluxe cabin for the week. Did not know we could not cook in it, so I had to go buy a propane stove to cook outside on the picnic table. Also had to buy all utensils, pans, plates, etc since there were none with the "deluxe" cabin. Last night there, asphalt company came along and asphalted us in to our spot at 7 am. No warning, and no apology. Go anywhere else; do not recommend.

Loved the covered wagon!! My only recommendation is to have the AC on hours before arrival. Other than that, we loved our stay!!

We stayed in the new covered wagons. It was fantastic! It was really comfortable, delightfully decorated, ample amenities and very clean! We had a wonderful view of the country side and plenty of activities. The campground bathhouse was the best I’ve ever seen.

Unfortunately, we got there late due to traffic, so we didn't get to spend as much time there as we would have liked. Our cabin was great and the view was amazing! Such a beautiful campground all around. We hope to come back and maybe stay in one of those tree houses when they are done. :-)

The covered wagons were AWESOME!! The camp site is beautiful with super nice individual bathrooms. We would definitely stay and recommend this KOA!!

The site was fantastic, the Wagon was so much better than expected, the bathhouse was well designed, and the amenities were loved by the kids. I’d highly recommend this KOA site—it’s the best KOA I’ve visited.

Stayed in the covered wagon for my grandsons 7th birthday. It was amazing! Loved the view looking out over the open field. Staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Exceptionally clean bath house. Will be booking again

The camp ground was clean and the people were friendly like always! Our cabin had everything we needed and if we didn’t bring it the store onsite did. The cabin site we stayed in was very hard to pull into with a car. The switch from pavement for gravel into the site was a large drop off that would bottom out the car if not strategically pulled into. Other then that our stay was wonderful!

When we arrived we are assigned to a site that did not match what we booked - we could not fit so were reassigned. New site had a spectacular view and was very spacious, but did not have sewer - which is rare at a KOA. The biggest disappointment was that then when we went to dump on departure, we learned that the only dump site is on a hill. Had to deal with tanks when we got home, which sucked.

Our stay was a gift to my husband! He absolutely loved our stay in the Conestoga wagon. The King bed was so comfy! Our view was gorgeous! Loved our fire pit and the Adirondack chairs on our patio! It was a wonderful experience! The staff, Whitney and Tayler was so friendly, kind and helpful. The bath house was very nice and exceptional clean. We recommend this stay 100%!

We absolutely LOVE staying here. Everyone is super friendly, and there is so much for the kiddo to do. We stayed in a Conestoga Wagon (for the 2nd time since last summer), and we can’t wait until the tree houses are finished. We are already planning our next camping trip to Horse Cave KOA. THANKS FOR BEING SO WONDERFUL!!!

It was a very nice cabin but the bed needed to be cleaned better. Hairs on the sheet and on the box kinda gross to think I was going to have to sleep there. Not sure the sheets where clean. We ended up sleeping on top of the bed. Also hairs on the shower wall. Gross! The rest of the cabin was good and the grounds very nice. The garbage pile out front was gross also.

We loved it! We stayed in the wagon and was pleasantly surprised. Hope to stay there again soon !! Bed was very clean and comfortable. Having heat and air was a very nice feature. Views were great, plenty of activities for the kids. The only problem next time will be whether to stay in the wagon or the treehouse cabins being built. Hmmmm :o)

We had a great Easter weekend at KOA in Horse Cave. The campground is very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Mammoth Cave National Park did not disappoint. We hiked many of the trails and enjoyed our visit.

The wagon itself was amazing and the bathhouse was beautiful! We would've appreciated directions for the heater; the night we stayed was in the 30's and it was hard to figure out how to turn and keep on the heater, so we were very cold. Lastly and sadly we were unable to enjoy the bounce pad and basketball features because COVID-19 guidelines were not being followed by employees or guests.

We stayed in one of the Conestoga wagons, and loved, loved, loved it!! So spacious and beautiful, with our own private patio and fire pit. The bathhouse was the best I have ever seen in a campground!!

We stayed in a covered wagon for a couple of nights and had an amazing time! The wagons overlook a beautiful farm. The owners (VERY KIND) have thought of everything. Comfortable Adirondack chairs around the Firepit, great large gas grill and comfortable beds! The kids also loved the jump pad and novelty of the wagons. There is so much to do in the area we wished we had stayed longer!

I love this place but the Conestoga wagons are advertised as heated but the heat froze up & didn’t work. It was 16 degrees that night & despite being brought an old space heater I could see my breath inside the wagon. Thankfully I brought some extra blankets or I would’ve had to drive 2 hours home late at night because I would’ve frozen. I recommended better back up heaters. Crazy I paid to

This is our first winter with the wagons. We are learning our trial and error. The heater that was brought to you was brand new out of the box. (newer model type of heat). We will work on getting these issues resolved for the future.

I have stayed here twice and loved the neatness and cleanses of it both time. Super easy to check in and out and can’t wait to look at my calendar to see when I can stay again. Love it

We loved it. A couple of negatives - the heaters in the wagons could not keep the wagons warm and our heater froze up outside - a side note (the remotes need to be simplified or have instructions in the wagon. Last thing - the water pressure in the bathhouse was very low...

My family and I loved your place. We hated we had the issue with the heat on Saturday and had to leave. But, that would not make me not to choose your facility to stay at again. My children thought it was the nearest thing, EVER. The bathhouse was so clean, only issue I had was water pressure in the first bathroom on the right, other than that, nothing at all. We hope to see you guys in the future

The Horse Cave KOA is so beautiful. We stayed in one of the treehouses. There were only a couple cabins that were in use and maybe 5 campers. The Koa is very nice good for kids. We did have a tornado go through during our stay and it was scary since we were in a tree house. However, the treehouse was stunning and absolutely worth it. There are also covered wagons you can stay in. You are close to mammoth caves and a other fun activities. Small campground with a ton of charm. We will likely return.
