The location of the campground and the overall upkeep of the grounds is great. However, our site, which was claimed by the owner/manager to be a new site, in the woods and secluded, was not as promised. The day we arrived it rained, and our site was a muddy mess-very disappointing. In addition, no trees-in a clearing with another camper right on top of us our last night. Very disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback. Everything we told you about the site was true. It is new, so unfortunately the ground is still settling. It is a private section of our campground and it is surrounded by trees, so has plenty of shade. If you asked we could have moved you to another site. Thank you.

The owners of the campsite made us feel welcome...their paint and sip event was the highlight of our weekend...everyone was friendly and helpful...their pet friendly attitude including the large fenced in dog park was exceptional...we will definitely be back

We really liked this place, we have 3 younger kids and the pools, pond, and play areas, although older, were ideal for us. Our site was quiet and quite large, but the utility connections are dated and we had to connect to the water on the site next to us bc ours wasn't working. It does look like the owners are doing a lot to update so I'm excited to see the progress when we return next summer!

The folks here were very helpful. They actually moved our Retro to a beautiful spot. Can't wait to bring the Grandkids back. Beautiful grounds. and 2 pools!!!

We had a great time at the Houghton/Letchworth KOA! Hosts were very friendly & accomodating. The sites, bathrooms, etc. were very clean. The pools were enjoyable, especially the outdoor/heated pool, Several fun activities were available, including ability to use games and equipment. Although it was freeing, social distancing and face mask use shld have been enforced more in certain instances

Staff was great. Location was a little too remote. Roadways were narrow. Not ideal for hooking up a toad. Laundry was located in womens & men's shower/bath house. Not ideal for multiple loads when traveling.

Loved the KOA! Staff was friendly, full day of activities on Saturday for the kids. Offered 2 good sized pools and the game room was great for keeping the kids busy during a rainy day. Unlike other KOAs this one gave you more of the camping feel when staying in an RV. You had trees, shade, and didnt have another rv right behind you. My mom had one of the delux cabins and it was clean, spacious.

Very enjoyable! The campground was very peaceful yet lots to do. The grounds are clean and the sites are well spaced. The owners are amazing! Very kind and always offering a helping hand. We will return!

Nice and friendly management. Mowing and pool maintenance good. Sites very unlevel, road rock surfacing not pleasant and main building has no curb appeal, and maintenance operations not screened , adding to the poor curb appeal.

Thank you for your feedback. Not sure we understand. So you had a unsatisfactory camping trip based on the appearance of our buildings? We make improvements each year. In fact your site just had tile put in to defer the water away from the site. It will soon become a patio site. Local/regional people have seen and will see the many improvements to come.Thank you for staying with us.

Staff was very friendly, bathrooms and showers were well kept, pool was wonderful. Host let us borrow an adapter for the power since we were tent campers and did not have an adapter! My only complaint is the sites in Steppe Wolf Circle were pretty close together, but other than that we had an enjoyable experience!

We LOVE this place!! The Stroh family is so nice and always willing to help! The campground is clean and the sites are beautiful. This was our 2nd time & we'll be back!

Very well kept campground. Nature all around, very peaceful. Sites a a bit tight, right on top of each other. Kids loved it.

I read a lot of reviews about this KOA. B4 I booked it. Tom and Karin got gr8 reviews and I have to say they were rite. This s the best KOA I ever visited. Tom n Karin went out of there way to help us n every way have a nice week camping . They were very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Everyday we explored different areas biking , kayaking n hiking ! They keep the grounds spotless

Tom and his family provided a highly enjoyable experience for my family and I. Sites offer a lot of value in terms of amenities. Activities for families are many including two pools, arcade/rec room, fishing pond, walking trails, etc. Special activities like sip and paint and bingo offer great community opportunities. Overall, a great place to stay, easy drive on I86.

This was a fantastic stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Very relaxing quiet place to stay. This is a family friendly park with activities for kids. The pools are great. Even with COVID involved everyone was respectful with each other and management didn't have to get involved. If the pool was busy we just waited a few minutes and people would leave due to capacity restrictions.

Another successful vacation at a nice peaceful campground. Facilities were extremely well maintained, staff very friendly and don't be fooled by the remote location there's tons of things to do within 20-30 mins of the campground. We absolutely will stay again

We stayed in a deluxe cabin and our fellow travelers stayed next to us in their RV. The cabin was ideal for us. The campgrounds were wooded and clean.

Wonderful location and accommodations! We stayed in a cabin and found it comfortable and clean. The bathroom and shower was clean 24/7. We highly recommend this KOA.

Had a very nice time. Grounds were super well maintained. The owners were great people and super accommodating. They gave us the best spot in the whole park. At least that is my opinion.

We enjoyed our site very much. Shade and the view of the pond were the best. Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and hosts were much appreciated. HLKOA is centrally located to see the wonders and hidden gems of Western NY.

Very nice, clean campground! Staff was very friendly. Pool was very refreshing and facilities were nice. Camp store was well stocked with supplies and bathrooms/showers were very clean! My only suggestion would be to spread a few of the sites along the Labrador Wolf Loop out some. Even thought they are deep sites, they are very close to each other.

The space provided was nice. The owner was great to deal with and talk to about the campground. He knows he has improvements to make and has a plan. It is not as nice as some of the other KOA campgrounds that I have stayed but it is secluded and tranquil. I would definitely not hesitate to visit again.

Karin was very friendly and welcoming! The luau party was very fun for the kids but was a little unorganized. There were a lot of bees around the outdoor pool which made taking the kids a little nerve wracking, but it was very clean and warm. Not a lot for the kids to do as the playgrounds could use some upkeep. The roads weren’t paved so the kids couldn’t ride their bikes. We enjoyed our stay

Thank you for your comments. We provided fun activities for two hours at the Luau, with different stations, to maintain social distancing. Not sure what you mean by unorganized. Our playgrounds are brand new and many children ride their bicycles throughout the campground. Bees are not normally at the pool area. Our neighbor does have Honey Bees and sometimes you may see them stop by at times.
