We were traveling from Kansas to Virginia and needed a place to stay over for 2 days. This was the PERFECT place. If we travel this way again, we will make it a point to return.

Rented two cabins. There were bugs in the one cabin that were everywhere including the bed. Also, no blankets on the bunk except one like a sheet. In the second cabin, we couldn't get the heater to work and because we had one blanket that was more like a sheet, we froze all night.

Love this KOA. The shower in newer building is the best I've ever seen in a KOA!

Very friendly and accommodating. It had been raining a lot lately and the site pads need more gravel. Uneven site areas have standing water so muddy.

Nice park, hard to turn into with big rigs. Better signs on road would help!

This is a campground with lots of water activities. This was our 3rd visit just passing through. Less crowded for this early May stay. Friendly staff. If you are coming from the east, approach slowly for the steep u-turn into the campground or you may hear some grinding/scraping sounds from hitting the turn too fast.

We truly enjoyed our stay here! The people were so friendly and helpful. The little cabins are real cozy and warm. Hopefully we can make a trip down again for another stay next year.

We made this reservation, same day, while on the road. The reservation system was easy. I immediately got a confirmation text and email with clear instructions for check in. The young woman that checked me in was very friendly and pointed me to my site. Aside from the occasional train passing through, the stay was fairly quiet and super convenient off the highway!!

Friendly, helpful staff. Grounds were clean. Sites fairly level. Close to Interstate noise and interior roads were fairly tight (we had to back out of our pull thru site to leave due to proximity of campers across from us. Nice area. Would stay again. �

The sites were so crowded together that cars had to move to get new arrivals in because there wasn’t enough room to turn into the spot. We had to share an electrical pedestal, which for me wasn’t a good sign. Had twice as many campers in the area as felt comfortable. Will never recommend or come back. For many of us who travel with our pets, be prepared. The dog park was a complete mud hole.

The staff were very friendly, but the spaces were very tightly packed together. We we were led to our space my first thought was the someone was parked in our site. NOPE, I was instructed to back in between the two vehicles already parked there. I guess I shouldn't complain, because I was happy to have a spot.

Very pretty area. Sites and dog park a bit unkempt, but fine. Staff was all friendly. The spaces are all very close together, which made it a little difficult for one of our dogs, but NORMAL dogs who are less territorial won’t mind. The shop was adorable with lots of necessities and also some pretty cool gifts and souvenirs. Small Pond for swimming, another for fishing, playground.

Spaces were too tight! Had us squeeze in between two trailers and actually had to ask neighbor to move their truck so we could put our slide out. Muddy. Plenty of space to make each space wider so you are not on top of each other.

This was our second time staying here. We enjoyed it, the only problem was not in your control, and that was the local sites to see were closed down for health reasons.

The spots are set up with not much space between rigs. Literally had a motor home with its slideout about two feet from our slideout window.

Place is a hidden gem!! Must stay on a premium site though as it can get a little tight in other areas. Needs a little work here and there but I think the owners have the right ideas and will follow through!!

Easy to get to from the interstate. The campground was clean and safe. Bathrooms were convenient and clean as well. They also had several fishing ponds that were well stocked, my school aged kids had a lot of fun fishing. Plenty of paved space for bike riding and a small playground as well. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Noise from interstate was disturbing but otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The neighbors were a bit loud with their music. We wish the store was open but appreciate that it was closed due to COVID. Plane to spen many more night there. Just hopefully in a quitter spot.

No fire rings. No picnic table at site. Very close neighbors! Our neighbors were sitting right under our bedroom slide, under our window! Looked “trashy” when first coming in to camp down the very STEEP hill! We will not be recommending this KOA.

We requested a pull through site so we didn't have to unhook. We were given site 11, an 80 foot full hook up site. The site was large and very level. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this campground.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin and had an amazing time! The kids enjoyed swimming at the big lake everyday and making new friends. They also participated in the gold mining and came home with some unique gems. Staff and campers were friendly and welcoming! Thank you for the amazing experience and see y'all again soon!
