Campgrounds were very well-kept and scenic! I would prefer male and female restrooms separately as opposed to 'Family' restrooms.

VERY Friendly! Nice campground. Quiet (unless you tear down a power pole!). Had an incident there and the owner was very pleasant to deal with. Very friendly staff.

Nice place. A little tricky to get to and leave, off I-64, 5 miles or so and through town, but not bad. Nice level pull through site. Friendly staff and escort to our site. Just 1 night but it was nice.

Very nice campground. Very friendly staff. I had high voltage readings/alarms in my RV at this KOA and the VA Beach Holiday KOA, and have not had high readings at other campgrounds (10 of them). Not sure what the issue is... I was at site 8 at this KOA and site 30 in the KOA in VA Beach.

okay for an overnight. Sites are pretty tight. Signage is very poor - coming from the west, there's a tiny little sign at the turn, but you can see a huge KOA sign BEYOND the turn. Easy to miss it (as we did) and assume that there is an entrance by the big sign. There is NOT. Staff was helpful in finding an open tire store which we needed.

It was just an overnight stay but we had one of the premium sites - what a joy to have chairs, table, grill snd a fire pit all set up and ready for use. Bath house was clean and office folks friendly

Very nice staff and curteous. The campground does not have a lot of amenties, but is very cleaned and well kept. Easy access of highway and accessible for large rigs.

Wonderful family-oriented campground. After more than a year of lockdown, it was so good to see kids out playing, riding bikes, etc. I would say that the turn into the campground is only marked with a very small KOA sign, while a tall sign sits another 100 yards past the driveway. If you are focusing on the big, tall, sign, it is very easy to miss the driveway. A bigger sign is needed at the drive

It’s an ok place, camping spots are too close for my liking. At times there is a sewer smell (has happened both times we’ve stayed). There is also considerable interstate noise. People who run the place are very nice. Because of the closeness of sites/sewer smell/interstate noise I prob won’t be back.

This is a nice place to stay. We just did an overnight enroute to our destination. Great staff and a nice camp store. Site was spacious. The only thing to say is that I wish the sites we a lot closer to level. I didn’t have enough blocks so I had a tire hanging down to the stops. Other than that I will keep this one on my list a stop by whenever we go out west for a trip.

We were traveling from Kansas to Virginia and needed a place to stay over for 2 days. This was the PERFECT place. If we travel this way again, we will make it a point to return.

Very friendly and accommodating. It had been raining a lot lately and the site pads need more gravel. Uneven site areas have standing water so muddy.

This is a campground with lots of water activities. This was our 3rd visit just passing through. Less crowded for this early May stay. Friendly staff. If you are coming from the east, approach slowly for the steep u-turn into the campground or you may hear some grinding/scraping sounds from hitting the turn too fast.

We made this reservation, same day, while on the road. The reservation system was easy. I immediately got a confirmation text and email with clear instructions for check in. The young woman that checked me in was very friendly and pointed me to my site. Aside from the occasional train passing through, the stay was fairly quiet and super convenient off the highway!!

Friendly, helpful staff. Grounds were clean. Sites fairly level. Close to Interstate noise and interior roads were fairly tight (we had to back out of our pull thru site to leave due to proximity of campers across from us. Nice area. Would stay again. �

The sites were so crowded together that cars had to move to get new arrivals in because there wasn’t enough room to turn into the spot. We had to share an electrical pedestal, which for me wasn’t a good sign. Had twice as many campers in the area as felt comfortable. Will never recommend or come back. For many of us who travel with our pets, be prepared. The dog park was a complete mud hole.

The staff were very friendly, but the spaces were very tightly packed together. We we were led to our space my first thought was the someone was parked in our site. NOPE, I was instructed to back in between the two vehicles already parked there. I guess I shouldn't complain, because I was happy to have a spot.

Very pretty area. Sites and dog park a bit unkempt, but fine. Staff was all friendly. The spaces are all very close together, which made it a little difficult for one of our dogs, but NORMAL dogs who are less territorial won’t mind. The shop was adorable with lots of necessities and also some pretty cool gifts and souvenirs. Small Pond for swimming, another for fishing, playground.

Spaces were too tight! Had us squeeze in between two trailers and actually had to ask neighbor to move their truck so we could put our slide out. Muddy. Plenty of space to make each space wider so you are not on top of each other.

We requested a pull through site so we didn't have to unhook. We were given site 11, an 80 foot full hook up site. The site was large and very level. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this campground.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin and had an amazing time! The kids enjoyed swimming at the big lake everyday and making new friends. They also participated in the gold mining and came home with some unique gems. Staff and campers were friendly and welcoming! Thank you for the amazing experience and see y'all again soon!
