We are new to camping and this was our first time staying at KOA/Fox Fire. The older lady working the check-in desk, about at 8:00'sh, name started with a "K", couldn't see the entire name tag, was incompetent to be running the cash register and rude! The Halloween celebration was great! The guy on the golf-cart that escorted us when we arrived and helped us with backing, was fabulous, thank you!

Overnight stay. Quiet clean and friendly.great halfway spot for me. Spots are small as is usual. First stay here did not use any of the amenities.

Bathrooms were filthy. They charged double for the weekend. When we went to the store at 7 they were closed and the sign clearly said they close at 8. Staff was not friendly or engaging

Campground & staff are great. We were only there for 1 night but, we'll definitely be back. Loved the campground was decorated for fall, just beautiful. Lots of amenities: level sites, small nice camp store, fishing/swimming lake, dog park, not far from the interstate. Only downside traffic noise from the interstate but, it wasn't too bad & Picnic tables could use updating. We felt very welcomed!

We had a problem with our RV. The office was helpful in recommendations and arrangements to stay to have repairs. Very friendly and helpful people.

I used to stay there for the Pumpkin festival and was in a spot closer to the front. Decided to more because acorns dropped on camper and woke me up, so decided to move this year. I want back to the original spot for next year because it is so much quieter. New spot could hear traffic on the interstate plus neighbors were noisy. They stayed up past 11pm and started making noise again at 4 am.

Very clean and comfortable with all the comforts of a great glamping site! A staff member guided us to a flat site with full hookups and it was easy to settle in for an evening in front of the campfire. (Shopping and restaurants nearby too for fun and essentials.)

People were exceptionally nice but it was overcrowded! We had a pull through site in which they had us pull all the way to one end. I asked them if we had the whole site and they said yes. But an hour later. Two cars were parked at the end of our site and another trailer backed in across from us so that we were facing each other. We didn’t even feel like we could sit under our awning. Horrib

Peaceful and quiet. Our site was very muddy and too many potholes filled with water and the individual sites were really tight are my only complaints.

Rest rooms were clean and nice. There were no fire rings on the campsites. I had rented a pull through and they told me to move my vehicle from behind my rv trailer to cross-ways in front of it even though I had rented to pull through space. My neighbors than put their picnic table in my pull through.

We didn't stay long enough to enjoy all the amenities. We arrived past check-in time: there was a map with easy directions to our site. The Kamp K9 fenced area was nice.

This KOA is very clean and well maintained, so may be great for those in campers with thick walls. I definitely would not recommend this KOA for tent campers, however, because of its proximity to the highway. Trucks were rumbling along all through the night and sounded as if they were right outside of my tent. I didn't sleep at all. I would have rated it lower except for the great staff.

The camp site was great. Just the interstate hwy was to close. Just to noisy could not sleep. Are neighbors left their rv porch lights on. We were in a tent. The camp site itself was clean and nice

Easy check in; long level sight, 100+ cable channels crystal clear, good water pressure, easy exit. Always a guy roving on a golf cart helping folks with trash and issues. Large open field for my dog to run... just a great place to stay when these things matter to you. Heads up for the dip in the road at the entrance, that sent stuff flying in our coach!

When we arrived and found our campsite, we noticed how slanted the area was. We have a 23 foot motorhome and there is no way we could have gotten it leveled to be able to put out the slide and also make sure our refrigerator would function properly. The office was closed when we arrived but the security person answered the phone and directed us to a more level spot. We appreciate it very much.

This was our first visit to W. Virginia. We met the owners and learned their story of how they started this KOA campground and all the hard work that went into it to make it the beautiful place that it is today. The acomodations were terrific, the staff was friendly, and the campground was very clean. There were lots of activities for the kids (fishing, swimming, biking, etc.). Highly recommend

This is a very cozy park. We enjoyed the peacefulness throughout the campground. There seem to be a lot of children, and they were having a great time and that really made us feel good. This campground is very tidy and I would recommend highway.

We were in a premium pull-thru site and loved it. Great privacy. This KOA is one of the best we have stayed in during our 10plus years of full timing. Everything was very clean; grounds, bathrooms. Two laundry facilities each with 4 washers and 4 dryers that looked new. Friendly staff. Hope to be back. Stayed several nights.

We requested a pull through site so we didn't have to unhook. We were given site 11, an 80 foot full hook up site. The site was large and very level. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this campground.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin and had an amazing time! The kids enjoyed swimming at the big lake everyday and making new friends. They also participated in the gold mining and came home with some unique gems. Staff and campers were friendly and welcoming! Thank you for the amazing experience and see y'all again soon!
