Stay was great, location was relaxing until the motorcycle gang (group) showed up, Saturday night this group was noisy.

it appears the campground had been left go for some time but could see signs of work to correct that. If the owners were working to rebuild kudos to them. If not then this campground needs some work to bring it up to what we expect from a KOA. All of our ammenities worked great, showers and laundry were clean, and since I still have to work while traveling, I had good internet

The staff that we dealt with seemed not to know their job, or the facility. Half of the restrooms were out of commission. (under remodelling) The remaining restrooms were filthy and poorly maintained. The K-9 kampground was choked with weeds and uncared for. A good number of the space markers were not mounted to be visible. There were a number of power boxes broken and unrepaired. Not good!

Stayed one night and returned several days later again. The wooded sites are shaded from the sun in this awful summer heat. Prettiest campground I’ve been in and the reception employee was very accommodating.

Tent campers are just an afterthought. The spaces are crammed together and there is no privacy. At least they could put some bushes or fences between the spaces. Also our space was dirty and had food and waste on the ground. We did enjoy the pool, though. The bathroom and showers were free but not clean. This KOA is not a destination; it's just a stopover on your way to a better place to stay.

Great time, staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean. Enjoyed the pool with wife and friends. Overall great trip.

We like the large canopy of trees and there were not many people in the park during our stay. Quiet and relaxing.

It had a nice laundry. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. The shade was great, but trying to park our 37ft 5th-wheel with 3 slide-outs between the cottonwood trees and the hook-ups was a challenge. We had to place it so that one tree was between a slide out and our door. We could not use our awning. We had barely enough electrical cord and sewer hose to make it work. Staff was great.

Setting is amazing, and the cabin, while rustic, was clean and nicely equipped. The only downside was the bathtub, which is in need of a new tub surround and shower head. The loudest thing we heard in the area were the birds. Across the highway was the "Heart of the Monster," the birthplace of creation for the Nez Perce and other native tribes. What a comfortable stay in this amazing place!

We were with a group. The staff was very pleasant. I cannot give a high rating however as the shower in our handicap unit would not drain. The manager?put draino down but it did not solve the problem. The maid service on our second day was not adequate. No bath mat was left and the shower and sink area were not cleaned. Only coffee and a few rolls for breakfast on Sunday-no milk for cereal.

The park needs some improvements for the rv sites, mostly dirt with a few weeds. Pool was nice, laundry room was well kept, didn’t use much else. Employees were great, very accommodating. If you need to stay in Kamiah, I would recommend this place.

Site 15 is filled with large rocks and no concrete pad; very bad! Other sites have ruts and not even near level. Park needs lots of TLC. Could be a nice park but clearly needs some help. Restrooms and washers or dryers were not working and no clean towels were available for the pool. Staff was nice but clearly short handed. We will not return very soon.

We would have appreciated being put in a spot under the trees with shade rather than on the highway. There were plenty empty spots there. Shower curtain fell off. It was not installed correctly.

Very basic but good. First site we were put in was so muddy from the weather that there were deep tire marks. They were good to change us before we went in. Staff were great.

We were there for one night but this place needs allot of work. They are remodeling the restrooms and showers. Only shower is way up the hill away from everyone. Restroom in the same place, there is one restroom in main office which closes at 8pm. Needless to say we never had a shower before we left. Why in the world would you be remodeling in the middle of the summer rush. No wont stay there.

Unfortunately neglected park in a beautiful, quiet area of the country ... has the potential to be one of the nicest with a little maintenance and renovation. Nice layout and helpful hostess on the day we stayed.

The staff was so friendly. The campground was very nice and clean, the only negative thing about the campground is there was no wifi or cell service.

Initially, we were put in a very wet sight, but in the morning the Nye came in and switched us up to a nice site. He was very friendly and helpful. We were part of a group and he was very helpful and made our stay very pleasant.

What a lovely place to stay. The camping spaces are very large and it is clean. While evidence is all around that they are doing improvements it was very quiet and there wasn’t a lot of messes. We want to come back and see the progress in the future. Staff was very friendly. It is rustic but that is right in line with the character of all the places in this part of Idaho.

Park didn't handle recent rains well with mud and standing water. Issues with power box. Nice shade trees and pool very clean. New owners are working to rehab. Stay tuned.

The only thing stopping me from rating a '5' is the muddy roads & campsites. Perhaps some pavement or gravel? But, the staff was great & very personable and the surrounding beauty was wonderful!

I would stay again if I had a camper or stayed in a cabin. I was in a tent next to the bull frog pond and it was loud even with my ear plugs in!! Plus I was a single female & I thought the tent area was too far away from other people.

Friendly staff went out of their way to make us feel at home with clean sites and facilities! We will be back!

It was a mud hole. We had to use 4 wheel drive to get out of the site assigned to us. It didn't help that a gun show was taking place and there were vendors all over the place, leaving their trucks in odd places making it very difficult to maneuver around the muddy grounds to get to a new site. I know they could not control the weather but a lot of gravel in the right places would have helped.

Staff is friendly and informative. Check in was smooth and a beautiful old trees. Even though it rained we still had a good time. Made some new friends and a good time was had by all. It is an old park and could use some updating but still a very good place to stay. Will stay her again. Thanks for making our stay great.

Spaces had holes and very muddy after a little rain. Bathrooms and laundry a long ways away. Lady working the desk was helpful with finding a place to eat in town. Interest dump station, required two people to use the water. Front row very close to the road, which was noisy during the night.

Too old and overall run down. Bathrooms were too far away for convenience. The pull trailer camping was too close to the noisy road. Looked to us that camping was on its way out and hotel units and cabins was the main business strategy. Worst place that we stayed on our vacation.

The quality was poor compared to others. The slow remodel was inconvenient had to use far restrooms and showers. The pool is cold- fed by a hose- no heat /no chemicals. Unless it is 85 or above it isn’t very enjoyable. The horseshoe pits were over grown, The fire pit wasn’t useable until we cleaned it up. No fence between koa and highway- scary for people with kids. Older facilities, some remodeling going on, not bad but not great. Easy access right on Hwy, friendly staff, pool and jungle gym were fun for the kids. We spent one night while visiting friends and it was fine.

This campground is a rustic with lots of trees. The pool is on a smaller scale that other KOA's. The RV areas for the most parts were level but gravel would be a plus. There was no guide to the spots so I parked in the wrong space, numbers are clearly marked. Overall not a bad park just old and dated.

Lovely park, nice, mature trees made lots of shade. Clean, well-kept sites. Quiet location made for a nice night of restful sleep. Discovered the Heart of the Monster historic site could be seen from our campsite. Knowledgable staff made check-in a breeze. Enjoyed the stay, thank you.
