Great location sites and access. Nice shade, sites, water & power supply. Poorly kept, restrooms, showers and pool are dirty. - a real missed business opportunity to not have a great KOA is such a super location. Good spot by which to explore the Nez Perce Historical trail locations. LRB of Portland, Oregon.

The owners are gradually updating the grounds. It is a very nice location with lots of shade.

This campground had just a couple of things going for it, the tent area and the pool. We however were in a travel trailer and they put us right by a heavily traveled road which was noisy with traffic all night long. There were no individual fire rings, although it looked as if fires were allowed in the tent area. I would only recommend this campground as a stopover on your way somewhere else.

The facilities are old and need updating. The bathrooms, especially are in need of repair. The faucets in the showers barely work. The staff tried hard to make everyone happy, but they need to keep someone at the counter at all times to help people. We had to wait and wait until someone showed up to help us.

Left after one night. Disappointed at KOA staff for lack of control of noise and late hour activities by cabin guests. Kids hollering, adults on playground from 10:30-Midnight. Old, tired facilities. Grateful for apologies and refund by staff but would not stay here ever again.

Beautiful camping area with great shade which was great for a 98 degree day. The facilities are older which is fine but the bath rooms, both men's and women's, were very dirty. Someone is not doing a good job cleaning and someone isn't checking.

It was a nice facilities. By that I mean it was clean, well maintained and the staff was amazing. I thought the shower/ restrooms could use a renovation. They were muggy and very warm during our stay. It made going to the restroom turn into going to the sweat lodge. The internet offered was slow and not very reliable. Fix those few things and next time it will be a 10 and 5 stars.

Little run down. Has been a nice campground at one time but has not been maintained. Showers were dirty and needs to be updated.

People that were there full time was inconsiderate and rude, swimming pool was dirty and bugs floating everywhere!

We reserved a tent site, and when we saw how crowded it was, we asked to stay in an RV site in another area. The tent sites along the back are like sharing a small bedroom with weird hillbillies. No thanks.

Large and shady pull thrus with plenty of amenities for kids. Complimentary coffee as well as $5 breakfast (waffles and small continental buffet) were a nice treat. Only drawback was occasional falling tree branch. Not sure much can be done about that except to beware! Good wifi connection and full Verizon coverage. Was pleasantly surprised with site! Bathrooms dated but clean.

Nice place. I think the only downside was trying to sleep with the brightest street lamp outside our pull through site. We were in a tent so it was too bright. The staff was rarely in the office so that was a little strange. I waited for about 10 min just to check in. They don't have much of a store since the town is near by. Would have been easier to purchase items at the campground.

Staff friendly, utilities need to be moved to same side per site, almost impossible to open slides. Beautiful area try improvements!

Great location. The camp ite is ideal for travelers. The on ste store could be expanded just a little to include items people really do not want to load back on their bikes or autos to go into town and get.

This was not the best campground that we have been too but it isnt the worst. The drive in was beautiful, but a very curvy, longggg, road.

Not a good campground for tents. Can't speak to the RV part but the tent area needs a lot of help. Dropped fruit from apple trees, and broken branches from cottonwood trees (one fell on my pickup), and smell/mess from ducks and chickens made for an unpleasant stay.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The tent area is next to the ducks and chicken house which are released to wander around the tent area. Unique and a bit dated with on going repairs. There was nothing extraordinary but sufficient for our one night tents stay. Special thanks to the manager on duty and US Army Veteran.

When we first arrived we were given a camp spot that was too small for our trailer and truck. When we went to the KOA office we were given a bigger spot with no problem. We didn't care to be next to a pond though and we ended up getting bit by mosquitos. Our 7 and 9 year old grandkids loved the playground and pool. I enjoyed the shade. Next time we'd like to be further away from Hwy 12.

We stayed in the motel at Kamiah KOA Kamground; aka Lewis-Clark Resort. The room was clean and comfortable. They don't currently have a restaurant on site which is inconvenient since the facility is away from town so motel guests have to drive to Kamiah or back to Kooskia where restaurants are located.

Hardest bed I ever slept on! Strange bites that last long after our stay. Nice folks working there, but the cabins need work and updates.

Nice campground. Close to the Clearwater river. Has a nice woodsy feel.

It is a very rustic look to it and it is supposed to. The theme is the Lewis and Clark expedition down the Lewis and Clark trail which runs down the Clearwater river right in front of the KOA. Yes they could do allot better in there cleaning but it is a nice camp ground.

Have stayed here several times. Nice park. Could use some updated restrooms/showers but over all it's fantastic. Love the staff!

Very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to borrow a grill. Need to fix bathroom fan. Great for overnight tent. Clearwater River is across the road.

The tent sites at the facility were not well kept, even had a chicken coop with free range chickens in the tent site. Little clean and usable space to put up a tent. Had to park a significance distance from the tent sight.

the negatives .... The facilities were a little run down the mens showers near the pool fluctuated widely from hot to cold. The positives ... The pool was clean and there were plenty of towels

Have stayed here many times. The park needs some basic maintenance and updates. Good location, make sure you get a spot in the shade -- it is hot in Kamiah in July

We meet a group of college friends annually at the Kamiah KOA and they serve us well. We come with trailers and/or stay in the motel; set up Corn Toss games; cards; golf; etc and enjoy our long standing friendships.

Bathrooms and showers old however clean and worked. Pool was nice. Lots of room and shade. Lots of grass. Nice big fire pit with stacked fire wood.

All but one washer was broken, general maintenance issues, coffer maker did not work, main building had strong musky smell, continental breakfast ($5) did not open until 8am, bar soap was a 1/3 size of a normal hotel size... Needs capital investments... :(
