It is hot here at the Lakes, so I thought you might need some ideas to keep you cool.
Water is a great way to cool off. Our pool is open 9am to 7pm and is only open to the guests here at the campground, so jump in and cool off.
If that gets boring for the little ones, head on over to Calvert City's splash pad in Memorial Park. It never ceases to delight our littlest visitors.
If indoor cool is what you need, head in either direction. Paducah has something for everyone. There is, of course, the quilt museum, the railroad museum, and the many shops. Paducah also has bowling lanes, movies theaters and the Atomic Family Fun Center which will keep everyone cool, entertained and fed all day.
If you would rather head to Land Between the lakes, a great place to cool off is the Golden Pond Planetarium. With a great Planetarium show schedule all day long and a laser light show all night long, there is plenty going on to keep you cool.
