With more than 100 churches in McCracken County, houses of worship are an important cornerstone of Paducah's cultural landscape. See Paducah from steeple to steeple, neighborhood to neighborhood on this self-guided tour featuring distinctive church structures, historic congregations and Kentucky historical markers. The tour begins at the Paducah flood walls. The murals painted on the wall are accompanied by plaques with historical info about Paducah. From there proceed to 17historical churches of all faiths in Paducah. If you use the interactive map on your phone, you will be able to see the location of each church and some facts about that particular church. Feel free to get out of your car and photograph the architecture of the buildings.
