Great stopover with beautiful view of lake. Road noise from I10. Site 100 (?) was confusing to get into, lady at desk told us to go the wrong way. It's just tilted the opposite direction from the rest of the sites. But everything else was great!

Convenient off the highway. Level spacious sites. Neat, clean bathrooms/showers and grounds. Some highway road noise. Sewer connection a little too far from RV near end of site.

Our only problem was the existing RVs with their cars made it difficult to manuever out with our 42 foot rig. We stayed in the new section and were very satisfied with the site.

Very pleasant. Just wish we would have had a warmer weekend lol. My grandkids were able to go from camper to cabins. My whole family stayed the weekend and also had a great weekend of youth baseball.

Noisy after quiet time started.

It was a quick overnight as we traveled through the south. It was our first KOA experience. The greeting was warm and the sites clean. However, campers were really packed in. It felt crowded. But it was quiet enough.

A very nice place. The sites were awesome. Only one downside is the constant highway noise. Otherwise this site would be 5 stars.

This review is based on the older sites in the front. Sites were close, crowded and the traffic noise was horrendous. Lake was pretty. Would stay again but ONLY if we were in one of the brand new sites in the back of the park.

The lot we had was all rock, not very pet friendly. In walking through the park we found some nicer spots with grass lots in the 300 series that would have been better

Lovely park close to everything. Kept very clean. Friendly staff. Nice concrete pads. Roads are a little tough to navigate with no directional arrows as they are really only single lane. Really close to the highway which is great for location, but also quite a lot of road noise at night.

The campground is very nice and everyone was very kind. Food locations are very close by and there is a variety.

Great park! The “new” section is nice, big and has a beautiful view. This time we stayed in the “old” section and while it was not as nice as the new section we’ve stayed in the past it is still well maintained and the stay was enjoyable.

The park is beautiful. Sites surrounding a lake. Friendly staff at check in. Our site was long enough for our truck and fifth wheel. We didn’t have to unhook for our overnight stay.

KOA is nice, especially the newer section. Dog park is extremely small, but there was a field near the dog park that we let our dogs run in to get some exercise. The older section is right off of i10.The noise didn’t bother us for the 1 night we were there though. There is also a pond where you can rent paddle boats which would be nice if your staying longer than 1 night. Would stay again. �

Being by the lake was very relaxing & the park has nice shade trees. Nice concrete slabs. Right off I-10 highway so you may hear a little noise but it was not bothersome at all. Excellent after hours check in for no reservation - very organized. Appreciated that.

We showed up for a one day layover and found the campground easily. Staff was friendly and helpful over the phone + in person. Our pull thru site was clean and level. Hook-ups were perfect and we had zero issues. Close to many restaurants. Very happy with KOA. We did 4 KOA parks over our 2 week trek from Texas to Florida to Georgia then home and you know what to expect and they don't disappoint.

Great place! Friendly staff that are proud of being from Louisiana and of Cajun heritage. As soon as you check in, it’s all smiles and Southern Warmth. They give good advice for good food and must see places! Very clean campground and every site has room to breathe so you have your own private space. I will be back there for sure!

This is an excellent campground to visit. We stayed 'behind the pond' in some truly outstanding campsites (roads paved and campsites cement pads). Lafayette KOA is handy to I-10 in either direction. Big rigs are easily accommodated (without someone's RV right next to yours). Since we only stayed overnight, I can't comment on the bathrooms and laundry facilities. Stop by...you won't be disappointed

We stayed overnight at this KOA going to Florida. The area is right off the highway and there’s a lake in the middle of the campground. We had a pleasant experience for the night. We could hear the highway traffic occasionally but it didn’t bother us. Restrooms were outdated and I’m not sure of the other amenities since we didn’t use them. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Only stayed overnight in feb but what a great looking place, good level sites, many are pull through, tons of activities for kids and adults. Wish I was staying longer.
