Of my several overnight stays while driving through LA, Lafayatte has always been a reliable place for me to spend the night. However, this particular time, Sunday 2nd, the lot #140 is having major issues with their electrical outlet and MUST be replaced. This is so old and loosen that it makes the electrical connection very difficult. It will fry someone's electrical cord if it is not replaced...

Only stayed for a night. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lots to do. Clean and tidy. Beautiful pond and things to do. Will return

We have stayed in this KOA several times, and will continue to book our stays here when we come to Scott. We love the layout of their park, the friendliness of the office personal AND it's in a great location!!!

Absolutely loved the spot on the water with the Pavilion, only Disappointment was no golf carts allowed. We love riding our puppies around on the golf cart. Staff was extremely nice. The only spots I will ever stay at is the ones on the water with the pavilion, swing, bbq pit and fire pit. I found the other spots were a little tight. I think we were in the new area which I really liked

We would have stayed another day if we could have. We enjoyed our stay. I especially liked the cover in the tent site area. It rained while we were there and this was a big help in protecting our tent and made cooking our food and eating more enjoyable. The bathrooms and showers were close by. A good view of lake. This is one of the less expensive KOA campgrounds for all the amenities they offer.

We come to Lafayette often and this KOA is always our first choice. The staff is great, the park is clean and well maintained and camping along the lake is always nice

Pretty setting on the lake. It was raining hard the whole time we were there so didn't get to see much. This is a huge campground with lots of amenities. Would be good if you had kids. Dog "park" was really tiny which is why I've not given it a higher rating.

Nice campground and great staff. Very flexible in accomodating our needs. The only downside was that some of the activities our outated.

The area we stayed in was very nice. The only negative was the bathrooms. They are very dated. The men's shower did not drain.

Our 2nd stay and will do so again and again when we travel through the area. The staff is very helpful with grocery & diesel options (where not to go to get stuck trying to maneuver out). The grounds are lively with activities, and it’s easy to drive through the campground. Quiet at night. Pond is relaxing. The round-a-bout to enter isn’t as difficult as you work yourself up to believe.

The highway noise was deafening when you were outside. We could not have a conversation while walking the dogs, unfortunately. A wall or some hedges would help. They have some amenities like putt-putt golf but again you wouldn’t be able to hear each other because of the road noise.

This was our 2nd stay at a KOA. The first was fine. This was a disaster. We are tenters and the tenting facilities are sub-par. No electric or water. It's 100' off I-10 and lit up like a football stadium. We finally just gave up trying to sleep and left at 3 a.m. If you're a tenter, find somewhere else to stay. It's probably fine for RV's.

Excellent koa and staff. My coach battery and engine battery died, they added water and got it started for me. Very friendly staff.

We spent the Christmas holiday at KOA. We've visited before for Thanksgiving and decided to return for Christmas. I love the laid back feel to the campground. I highly suggest being on the pond with the little Pavillion that includes a table, swing, fire pit, and barbecue pit.

Only stayed overnight in feb but what a great looking place, good level sites, many are pull through, tons of activities for kids and adults. Wish I was staying longer.

We came in a little late, but our papers were all ready for us at the board by the front door of the office. This is our second time staying here and both times were flawless.
