Disappointed not escorted to site. Campground not patrolled by staff. Kids unsupervised and run wild after dark. Not a pleasant stay. The location is beautiful but that was the only good thing about our stay.

There wasn't much to like. The pictures for KOA at Lake Bomoseen are misleading.The campground does not have a beachfront. It's on a swamp. The few canoes and kayaks to rent are rundown and sketchy. The bathrooms had toilet paper caked feces on the ground for 24 hours. Early in the morning the road inside the campground directly in front of our cabin had road construction. The pool was yellow.

Don't really care for the drive thru spots but with only a few spots left we took what was left. Had a good time while there.

Very disappointed no actual access to lake for water activities other than boating. When camping at a lake one would assume the lake was available.. The arcade was a joke. Nothing worked and took kids money. The pool and pool staff were great and the only reason I didn't immediately leave with the children.

Great location on the lake. Campsites are nice but we have several complaints to make. The water (drinking) was cloudy and slightly brown. Also this campground is very loud, with people coming and going at all hours and kids roaming around, biking, and playing until very late at night. Quiet hours were not adhered to or enforced. This continued through weekdays and was not just on weekends.

We had a TERRIBLE experience and I was quite disappointed at the way the staff handled the situation. Our neighbors were absolutely awful. Many other campers complained as well from what I discovered at check out. None of our camping party was able to sleep all weekend as they were very loud at all hours of the morning and night as were the 2 hound dogs they brought along.

We were very disappointed with our cabin. Nothing had been wiped down or disinfected. Someone had dumped grease from their grill onto the ground in front of the cabin. Floors in cabin were sticky and dirty. We are in the midst of a pandemic so we thought cleanliness would be a top priority. Bugs were rampant. We invested over $300.00 for 3 night stay, and expect to receive full credit. Thank you.

Overall it was good, rating it a 3.5 because: - pool was freezing, so kids hardly swam - didn't realize how much millfoil was in the lake, making it hard to launch out boat, had to go to the public launch - our site was nice and shaded, but right next to the main road so we could here traffic - wifi signal was not great, but helped us to disconnect I guess!

This is our second time here. Pool water is nasty GREEN, sites are jammed on top of eachother, we are all about having a good time but it was going on 11 and it was crazy lound screaming and hollering. We had a truck pull in front of our site and stop with a couple screaming hollering and swearing at eachother in front of kids. This place is not supervised at all. I could go on but limited textig

We experienced this campground during COVID. Our tent site, number 105, was secluded enough that we felt comfortable with our stay at campsite but did not feel comfortable using any of the amenities due to the number of people congregating unmasked. As caution, number 105 will only work for those with small backpacking tents and will not fit a huge 6+ person tent.

It’s tough to relax with your neighbors so close. Not really decent access to the lake, place was mobbed and it was tough to get around. One of the women behind the counter was a bit rude. It was a good weekend as it was out first this year

Sites 144 through 147 are in a swampy area and would benefit from some upgrades. We arrived after it had rained and the site was quite muddy, never drying out. Our biggest complaint was the persistent barking from dogs at other sites. We finally complained at the office and the noise level was better that evening, but continued again the next morning. Routine policing of noise would help.

The camping spot was tiny. No place to park the car and pitch the tent. It was also the only one that didn't have a fire pit.

The campground was great but they did not enforce the barking dog rule. There was one small dog that kept barking. Also there was a teenager that kept swearing and yelling the “F” word from the bench by the playground no parents in sight. But it was a very nice campground

We had to cut our trip short but we had a blast well we were there so woukd go back alot to divwith the kids and the site we had was big and roomy for a small tent and a 12 room tent great stay thank you.

Very run down and not well taken care of. Staff in the store very unfriendly. Pools needed updating, the walls were stained. Boat launch needed repair. Our site 110 was rediculously small.

The campground was very clean, bathrooms were immaculate. The pool looked lovely. Our group enjoyed kayaking on the lake. We would have liked to see bigger campsites. The staff were very friendly. The store was well stocked.

We LOVE going there with our family BUT the biggest downside is the wifi. It dont reach the tent sites. Not being able to check emails and watch movies at night before bed is a huge disappointment.

The welcome staff was not very friendly. They seemed put out by the fact that they had to check us in. “Here are the rules and your campsite number, next!”. The WiFi was terrible and got worse over the weekend. There was very little enforcement of the number of people on a site, number of cars and speed of traffic. The pool was nice. The boat launch was mostly cleared of Milweed.

The site we had was very small in comparison to others we've stayed at. Overall not a bad place. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful.

Our site was a good size and roomy, our friends however was not they could barely get their camper in and it was far away from the rest of our group. We were a little disappointed there was no beach access, but the kids enjoyed the pool and water slides, staff was very friendly and helpful

Classic KOA! We loved our campsite spot, just not a fan of the trash & micro-trash that was left behind. Other KOA’s seem to do very well with clean up. Also lacking a cleaning/mop sink! Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location to activities was good!

If you're coming to boat good luck. The "ramp" is so small and so shallow I was scared to launch my boat. no dock space to tie up to if I did. docks are monopolized by people living at the campground. The people who work there are very nice and accommodating. If you are looking for peace and tranquility go somewhere else. packed in like sardines. This is camping for inner city folk.

This place needs some updating and is no very condusive for big rigs. We hit a power line, luckily no damage occured. Some of the turns navigating thru the park were very tight.

No cell service, Wi-Fi weak; at least 60% of sites full time or seasonal; not big rig friendly-asphalt roads in good condition but narrow; Had to jack knife our 43 foot 5th wheel to make some of the turns. No escort to the site; use trees to string power lines; staff is casual but efficient; Transient sites are well maintained and cleaned. We didn't use the pool but looked very nice.
