Campsites are very close to each other. If the camp had been full, it would have been far less peaceful. Bathroom were older, but clean. Water was hot. Electrical wires hanging everywhere took away from the woodsy feel. The water tap dropped the entire time we were there making a mud puddle at the cabin site. A.C. was musty but working, and door has a 1/4” x 4” gap where the lock met the wood.

We enjoy the campground. The owners, Oneil Family are very nice and the employees are very polite. The campground is quite and clean, along with the facilities.

Camp site is large with lots of trees, but many sites including ours kept tripping the circuit breaker (you could not have the water heater running when the air was running); fishing area was overgrown/couldn't fish; the pool is very small; we were greeted upon arrival but no other greetings during our stay except when we went into the office. We were very disappointed in comparison to other KOAs

I had higher expectations for a KOA. Although the campground atmosphere was excellent wooded. The water was leaking and and the bathrooms could use an update as well as the pool and playground and gameroom. there were absolutely no activities which I also expected. The lake George Saratoga name also implies it is close to both locations and 35 miles from Saratoga. The wooded grounds are nice.

Electricity was very spotty. Had to use generator every morning at a minimum. Everything seemed pretty old, not much up keep. Surprised this was even a KOA.

Unstable electrical, everyone on our line was complaining that if you ran the ac then other items that used electric would stop working. We had to have the refrigerator and the hot water on gas or we couldn’t run the air. Our neighbors also played musical appliances. That said, a good location and quite clean place, with the electrical fixed, we would go back!

We enjoyed our stay. This is a very quiet, low key camp ground. Very relaxing. Sufficient amenities. Wi-fi was ok, no cell service for Verizon which was fine for us. Good for families looking to connect with each other and disconnect from the internet. Dog friendly with out a dog park. Took dogs to the lake. We booked the following weekend. We will book again when staying in Lake George.

The workers here absolutely amazing they gave me excellent directions to restaurants and they helped me find my site and the owners here are the most nicest people I've ever met the scenery is also amazing a my site was clean and gorgeous from the time I got there and I saw them in the morning cleaning sites as people left them

Have visited many KOA’s- hands down the worst. 1. Required 3 night stay/payment when more than half of campground empty. 2. Fire pits dug into ground and placed in illogical and useless places (ours was NEXT TO THE ROAD beside a tree and non-usable). 3. Next to the road- could hear traffic all night. 4. Sites on top of each other with few trees to separate. 5. Had to sign in every day. WASTE OF

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake George KOA! The setting is beautiful. Many large trees with plenty of shade and space to spread out. The hosts were also very pleasant and friendly. I will definitely stay there again if we visit the Lake George area!

Upon checkin we were “greeted” by an older gentleman who was willing to, “concede that it is in fact morning, but not a good one.” This was our only encounter with KOA staff. We saw the staff on their golf carts but that was it. Bathrooms are small and outdated. Electrical wiring would make Ben Franklin roll over in his grave. This is no-frills camping at best. Not up to KOA standards.

We love this KOA. We keep coming back! Clean facilities, friendly staff, and great location between Lake George and Saratoga Springs.

Beautiful clean campground with large sites. Friendly staff. We went without electricity one night because they were digging and forgot to turn it back on.

Wonderful, hard working owners. Bathrooms should be upgraded as should the camp store. Better fishing access would be a draw too. Large, shaded sites & it is in great location. No grass where we were though so everything was pine needles making camper very messy. No campground activities for the kids like wagon rides, movies, crafts. Quiet during our stay which was nice.

Had a great time. Kids loved the pool and playground. Clean at all times owners and staff cleaned pool every day and picked trash up all the time. Bathrooms and showers were clean at all times. Definitely coming back next year. Close to town. Quiet place to relax. Thanks

No true defined sites. We were escorted to our site in the wooded area, but the escort left without helping us back-in. How is this park a Holiday? It has a pool and older playground. The store is minimal, there is no food service. It’s a mom and pop park owned and operated by an older couple who probably should retire.

The was a very pleasant little no frills campground. The campground is very simple without a lot of the campground activities which is perfect for someone who just wants to camp in a peaceful campground and use it as a basecamp for many of the surrounding activities. The bathrooms were very basic and would not be adequate of the campground was full to capacity.

Margie and Don were absolutely the best. Professional and friendly. The campgrounds where beautiful and the pool was crystal clear. I am definitely going to stay again because I know what to expect. One of the nicest campgrounds I have stayed at.

The only complaint would be poor internet service and no telephone service. We had minimal TV stations but that was not a deal breaker. Since we were in and out of camp we were able to make phone calls and connect where we needed to while we were staying here. Camping beneath the tall pines was wonderful and the staff was great! We loved the Rodeo and the Horseback riding they recommended!!

20A electric was inop. The water bib was not secured to anything. No lighting at night in campground. The one men's bathroom for the campground only had two stalls. Non existent cell service, WiFi did not work. No TV reception. We booked 4 nights-left after the first. If you like it dark, quiet and want to unplug this is your place. Hard to believe it meets KOAs standards.

We tried to take a hike down to the river but the path just stopped with no water in sight. Restrooms were clean and our site was nice and spacious. We were surprised that the camp was empty in the area we were in the middle of July. Having the electric hookups in a protected box would be nice to make it safer when it rains.

We stayed with our 18ft travel trailer. The sites were narrow and the “level” pad was just barely wide enough for the camper - the ground was pretty far down from our door step. There was barely enough room for the awning as trees were so close and lots of exposed roots to trip on. The whole campground had only 1 bathroom - not enough for the number of tent sites. But it was clean and central.

The owners were delightful and helpful. The campground was clean and well kept. Internet connections were less than ideal but that is the area, not the fault of the campground. Sites were spacious.

Wonderful campground. Spacious wooded, shaded sites. Nice owners. Close to everything you need. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

This is my favorite KOA. Trees and lots of space between you and your neighbors. The owners and staff are awesome! Its the only KOA we have been to where the wifi works!

Older koa that needs some updating . Run by an older couple who are very friendly and helpful . Bathroom is not handicap friendly but clean .only 1 bathroom building for entire campground. Huge sites! Lots of shade.very quiet and private. Store has a basic selection of items you may need ( small general store just down the street ) Great place if you are looking for a base camp to just relax or park and go out for the day to Lake George or the outlets. This is not a place for someone looking for lots of campground activities . Will definitely return .
