Gorgeous setting and lovely amenities. It may have been the direction from which I entered, but there was virtually no signage so I was unclear if I was on the right path. Loved the lake so close and the quiet surroundings.

This was our first time staying at Lake Oconee KOA and we absolutely loved it. From the minute we stepped in the store to register and get our key we were welcomed like we were old friends. The girls in the store were very friendly and so helpful. We met the campground manager Danielle and she was amazing!! So polite and very welcoming. Our cabin was immaculate and soooo cute! We will return

Facility is user friendly and the staff both registration and sales are super. Jennifer and Gerry in registration are the best. Joey in sales is very helpful kind and friendly. If or when a need arise the entire N.S.L. staff is there to help.

Great place! I had a late arrival and was contacted if I was still arriving and they informed me where my late packet would be and a number if I needed assistance. I really thought that was a nice gesture. I stayed in a really cool 'Caboose' Cabin, yes, a TRAIN Caboose, really neat set up and there were other cabooses lined up and get this, set up next to a train track. This place ROCKS!

We were off season so it was quiet. Staff was very helpful. Shower rooms were very clean.

Mommy said, if you can't say anything nice don't say anything. That's how I feel about this KOA park, way overpriced for what I got, never again, look for another park.

Beautiful campground, had a great 2022 Thanksgiving weekend. Met some really nice people, first time there but won't be our last.

Excellent for fishing. Utilities old, chipped and cracked electric plugs. But very scenic. Be slow and careful driving in the park as the roads have some bumps and holes.

We had a wonderful time with the exception of a property worker blowing leaves the entire day right outside our camper. I couldn’t concentrate or tend my daily meetings.

I have stayed here several times and always enjoy the stay. The park is always clean and they are constantly staying up on the maintenance. The sites on the hill could be leveled out more so that units could be leveled easier. This is a great park for location and easy accessibility.

Quite cozy and comfortable. Only weird thing,there's spots under trees,and open fields. Being under a tree dropping pine cones this time of year sucked. In the middle of the night,I would wake up to pine cones landing on my bathroom vent cover. What a loud sound it makes when hitting thin plastic. Would opt for an open space in the fall

This place ranks in my top 3 of KOA parks. Resort is clean, cabin was very clean, the lake is gorgeous and I came here about 5 times already and every time I come, something else has been improved. They make you feel like a celebrity, seriously they do. It looks like they are going to be adding some more sites soon. the bathhouse are private types and very clean. Amazing place indeed.

Beautiful park; owners forget that people come to camp and always cut costs on site maintenance. Unlevel site , small to where our 24 ft MH just would fit and maintain level. Steep entrance and exit for sites, our tow was dragging the street. Capital improvements, clean the buildings, improve the sites and all would be rated much higher.

Nice campground on the lake. Facilities are clean and well kept, staff is nice. Little disappointed with the site I was put in, since I made my 6 might reservation 7+ months out and I'm a KOA Premium member. VERY tight backing in my 5er and ramp up to the site was quite steep. Lot of erosion running thru made it difficult. Site was level once I got rig in. Lot empty sites my whole stay

Very friendly and helpful staff. Significant number of long term trailers and "summer" homes. Obvious that improvements are being made, but the overall feeling was a C grade. Pull through spot we were in had a sagging deck/patio which felt dangerous. No cable. Wifi worked great but we didn't have a smart TV.

To expensive for the RV sites and the site very unkept. No easy access. Would never stay there again.

Many sites are awkward to get in to due to narrow roads and sharp turns into site. Bathroom facilities, although clean and nice, are not as convenient due to steep hill sides. The shower room next to the club house I used (as well as others I checked in the same spot) was a potential accident spot as there was no slip resistant pad and the floors were smooth glazed tile. Mentioned to staff.

First site they tried to put me in was terrible. Broken concrete. 4 inch concrete lip. Rocks over 6 inches. Damaged my trailer trying to pull through. Their web site pictures were great. Nothing like reality. Site they finally gave use was only barely acceptable. For the price they charge it should be much better. I can't believe they are a KOA Holiday!!

The activities were great and the kids had an awesome time. The only issue we experienced was we had two campsites with an empty site between us with the assurance that the middle site was never used due to small size, but late that first night someone showed up at the middle site causing us to scramble to take things down and move equipment that was set up for adjoining the two sites.

Overall nice, clean campground. Many nice site options. Site 19 is where we stayed. The RV pad was very level side to side, but we had to really raise up the front of our RV and we still didn’t have it raised enough. The area where the picnic table is worthless. Very tight space for a table. We purchased “Kil Dry” firewood from your camp store for $6/pack and it was NOT dry!!

It was only a stop over for the night but can’t wait to come back and spend a few days. Older train box cars have been renovated and used for bathhouses,cabins,etc….. which looked so rustic and right in place sitting back in the woods along the beautiful lake. Gentlemen who escorted us to our site even though it was after office hours was a blessing as it was dark n raining very friendly

Checked in after hours. Met at office by night employee. Very nice and helpful. Directed us to a better site than the one we were assigned.

What a beautiful place! We came in on a Friday night around 9:30 and the staff was incredible. So friendly and helpful. It was our very first time with our new travel trailer and they made the experience so great. The location is beautiful, quiet and well manicured. would definitely recommend this location again.

I took my three-year-old. It was a great, easy getaway. The campgrounds are clean and well-kept. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon!

Arrived after dark each time after being on road for hours and staff member escorted us to our site even though it was after office hours which meant a lot to us. Beautiful place. Can’t wait to go back for more than just a stop overnight stay

Staff is friendly, our site was good, but the area needs updated. Sites are too close together. Long term guest properties look dated and in disrepair. Erosion is a problem. The cost is high to have no cable tv and no reliable WiFi. We will not go back.

We are glad to hear you liked your site and our staff but sorry to hear you do not wish to return. Some updates: All wifi is back/upgraded, we are building new sites that will be very spacious, and we will be working on our erosion issues in 2022. We would love for you to give our park another try!

We are so sorry to hear you did not have a grill at your site. We do not have grills at every site but we do have grills in the back for those that request one. Next time you are out this way be sure to ask for a grill and we will get you one!
