While the KOA employees were very nice and helpful, this location is just not conducive to a quiet, stress-free stay. I was there for 6 nights and on three separate occasions there were patrons who had their dogs off-leash - those dogs rushed my dog, one quite aggressively. I was thankful we were near the fenced dog park, and I could get my dog inside before he was attacked. Too much light/noise.

We were put in the north park this time. Quite the difference. Very small sites, wifi is spotty and alot of permanent campers. Took two showers and had barely enough hot water to wash my hair. Finished both showers in cold water. Staff was very friendly .

Stay away from the north side ! Garbage over flowing, sites are filthy and many big and nasty dogs! The dog run on the north side was dirt but south was nice and clean with grass. I didn't go into the restrooms so I can not comment on them. We had the deluxe patio well don't waist your money....the patio is bricks inlayed into the dirt and the chairs are so bad I thought we fall right through.

We like it here and appreciate the sites with lawn furniture. Some of the longterm campers don't take very good care of their sites and we heard about some internal feuding going on, but for us, it's conveniently located close to family. It is not in the best area but we haven't had any problems so far. Will come back.

The only thing that was problematic was people cutting through our campsite on their trips to and from restrooms.

First of all we were put in an upper lot,no trees what so ever. I know it's Vegas but every other Rv Park in the area has nice landscaping. Second you are so far from the main Park office and Casino you need to drive to get there. Over half of the park are permanent residents. Sites were never cleaned or raked the week we were there.bathrooms were very clean if you don't mind a few homeless sharin

We stayed a week but kind of wish we had looked around for other parks to stay in. We ere in the north parking area near the back gate. We went to the pool & hot tub and found both of the too dirty to use. The whole area around us was dirty and with garbage blowing around it was not nice. It’s like they just don’t care about that area. Great location, but not worth the price

Sites are a bit too close. Adequate though when neighbors leave. Sites with “patio” table and 4 chairs are way too close together. If neighbors have slide out, you are sitting right beneath or just to side. No privacy whatsoever. Pool was supposed to be heated?? Pool temp was easily around 70*. A bit too chilly! No wonder no one was at the pool! Mostly very quiet at night. Felt safe.

Other than at check in I was almost brought to tears by the gentlemen at the reservation desk it was a nice stay as always. Thank you.

The ladies at the front desk were VERY helpful and kind. Our space was clean, there were lots of maintenence people to help. Showers were clean and nice. And our biggest surprise of all…it was nice and quiet! We sure didn’t expect that from a Vegas anything! I would stay there again!

HAD A VERY POOR SITE CROWDED WITH LOTS OF GARBAGE UNDER CAMPERS TOO MANY LARGE DOGS AND VERY NOISEY LOTS OF DOG CRAP AROUND ALMOST GOT ATTACKED BY A DOG FROM MY NEIGHBOR. THIS WAS ONE OF THE WORST CAMPSITES WE STAYED AT IN THE FOUR MONTHS OF OUR HOLIDAY.

Allowing Red Rock (according to Las Vegas KOA employee) to use a gasoline pressure washer for an hour in the early morning to wash a camper van is awful for your customers. We felt trapped in the RV since the noise and fuel smell were unbearable! Truly an terrible stay and bringing it up to the facility was pointless.

Overpriced at $71. Old Cigarette button in our campsite. Tiny dog runs. Dog poop and pee in canp sites. BTW, Your KOA is not in Las Vegas. It is in Whitney.

Great location. Property is becoming dated, pool area appears to never have had any upgrades, pool was dirty, pool chairs old and faded. KOA has increased prices but have put money back into property.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

all new pool furniture has been ordered and awaiting national back orders as with everything since covid. they are coming just not here yet. sorry

This was actually our second time at this park.We returned this year to attend local dog show with two dogs. Park has easy access for large rigs, very welcoming and congenial, with speedy check-in. Spaces were large enough to accommodate our rv slide-outs. Dog area is large enough to let dogs stretch their legs and run, with shade and water available.

Had a great one night stay. Super friendly staff and super clean. Pool, Jacuzzi and restrooms very clean. Great Dog walk areas. Right next to Sam’s Town. Beat place so far on our trip. Next time, hope to stay longer.

Barking dog for hours into the night about 3 lots down. Yipping like nobody was home. Kept us awake until almost midnight. So disappointed. The park is so clean and check in was very professional, easy walk to casino.

We stayed for 21 days (January 15, 2022 to February 5, 2022) in spot 313 with a 42' fifth wheel. While this location is close to the dog park and trash dumpsters it can be quite annoying when at 6:30am the trash truck is there to empty the dumpster. Additionally, was a little disappointed that shuttle buses weren't running down to downtown and the strip from Sam's Town due to COVID. We used UBER so we didn't have to worry about parking (cost was about $16.00 on way + tip). downtown or on strip.
