Some things were good others not. Propane refill 10 stars Bathroom in the north lot farthest from entry was not cleaned the 5 days I was there as the same paper towels were on the ground in front of the trash. The main koa is nice the north lot is not so nice. Advice don’t stay here if put at north lot. Lots of drug use and not safe. The main lot when I stayed was much better. I won’t stay

Everything was as planned. Easy to check in and out. Sites were nice and quiet. Only complaint was the bathrooms need to be cleaned more often or in a timely fashion.

The staff is very nice. Have stayed here before. But this time it was different. Lots of issues with homeless people. You call the office and they are on it. Then the police helicopters all night. Sirens all night. And the gun fire you hear is a bit unnerving! Gave it 4 stars because the staff works very hard to control the homeless people, clean place, nice showers, laundry facility.

Do not stay on the Nellie side of the KOA. To many homeless people issues and gun fire. The office was kind enough to move us to the other side. That is why I gave 4 stars. They really need to put up a gate in the Ellis side.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The campground was clean, and we'll kept, but the sites were way too tiny. I have a 36' travel trailer, and the pull through full hook up site was almost too small for my rig. Good luck putting your Awning out... I would stay there again, but only for lack of better options.

Prices doubled since our last stay. Yes, there is inflation, but not 100%. We asked for a site near the showers but were not told the water heater was out at the nearest location. Staff did compensate us for the inconvenience; kudos for that. Floor in ladies shower area needs a serious scrubbing. Complimentary coffee in office was awful. Yes, it was free, but why bother if it is so bad?

Very friendly staff. We arrived early from an 8 hour drive, and they were accomodating. Front store offers everything from gifts to supplies. Grounds, bath & showers clean, and staff were continuously present. The only cautioned item is that the sites were very close to one another. We paid for a larger, dog kennel site which was great, but the other regular sites were very tight fitted.

Narrow sites, no tables, no location on site to just sit outside and enjoy weather. Internet was poor, few guests so if there were more I suspect the internet is worst. Clean park, wide roads

They are just fantastic superstar customer service it is a very nice park conveniently located next to Sam’s town casino for good food at the “angry butcher” and Las Vegas gaming- we always stay here when in Vegas each year and are always pleased with all aspects of our stay. Had permanent residence next to us, spot had small pieces of garbage in it, my husband cut his head on the consitena wire hanging over the brick wall, homeless people just outside of park, spot was very tight wih gravel dirt, poorest KOA we have stayed at!!!

Dog parks sub par, more dirt than grass, small, poop clean up not enforced in and on grassy areas. Otherwise, staff were friendly and nice.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

very sorry we loose most of our grass every winter. the lawn maintenance people work really hard at it during the growing season.

It was very lovely!! comfortable.. It will always be my favorite place to be!!! Very expensive daily though, could not get cable and internet did not work....Still it was amazing..

We had stayed there several times before so we’re BETY disappointed at the condition of the site we were hiven(492) !! It was next to a very unsightly trailer w 2 angry dogs inside that barked at anything and tried to come out the windows at you if you walked by Very disappointed at the condition of the dog park dirty hardly any grass and full of mud The restrooms and showers were very clean a

Very clean. Staff was helpful during our stay. One major issue for us was the high pitched sound at the pool when the spa was in use. A professional pool company should be able to fix such an annoyance.

We stayed for 21 days (January 15, 2022 to February 5, 2022) in spot 313 with a 42' fifth wheel. While this location is close to the dog park and trash dumpsters it can be quite annoying when at 6:30am the trash truck is there to empty the dumpster. Additionally, was a little disappointed that shuttle buses weren't running down to downtown and the strip from Sam's Town due to COVID. We used UBER so we didn't have to worry about parking (cost was about $16.00 on way + tip). downtown or on strip.
