Small campground,extremely clean, very friendly staff. Delivery of firewood to site was very quick, within 15 minutes of paying for it. Grounds were impeccable, sent kids to find sticks to start fire had a difficult time locating any. Although we didn't stay in them the teepees were an awesome feature, had a fire pit and cooking grate provided. Furniture inside too. Very nice campground!!!

We had a nice site for getting together with family...wooded, shaded. But, we have an RT and needed a cabin close by for our family of two adults and two small kids. The cabin was very close, but nothing like the one pictured on the website. Evidently one of the older cabins, and though clean, was a disappointment. Bathroom fixtures old and refrigerator unsightly. All else good.

This is one of the nicest KOAs we have stayed at. Great spaces, wonderful area, great people. Very nice park. Though a little out of the way, we will definitely stay here again. A+

This is a great campground! Its maintained very well, very clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Its a first class operation. We enjoy that there is so much to do around the area and everything is close. This is our go-to campground.

We had a beautiful cabin at slept eight people. Bathroom was very spacious in the entire cabin was clean. Only complaint I had was the cushion on the futon could have been fuller. It was very hard to sleep on. The campground itself had a lot of activities for people of all ages. And we really enjoy the pool.

We have stayed at many campgrounds, KOA and others. This was our first stay at the Lena KOA. Everyone we met was so nice and proud of their campground. Way to go Long Family! Easily our favorite KOA. We will be glad to spread the word about Lena KOA. Can't wait to return!

Friendly staff and very helpful. Joe you are #1 for going out of your way to help us with our electical problem after you were already closed for the day. Well maintained grounds. Nice play area for the kids and a fenced in area for your puppies to play for a bit. Really quiet and peaceful during the week. We really enjoyed staying here and hope to be back soon.

We met up with friends. We came last year for the Halloween. It’s a very nice campground. Clean and silent. Love the personalized service, they helped With backing The camper into our space

Had a great time, clean pool , nice grounds. The site needs to be raised up a bite, had to put boards under the tires to make the refrigerators to work.

We camped with a group of mixed ages. We were planning on going to Apple River Canyon State Park but we were having so much fun just hanging at the campground we didn't have to leave the whole weekend. The grounds are kept extremely clean . Someone loves gardening at the KOA because there are beautiful gardens everywhere. Make sure to check out the teepees and the lights in the trees at night!

Everything was great except we ended up in the most crowded sites with barley any room. In addition, why was the sewer pipes in the higher sides? Make it really hard for people to dump. Please return the pool chairs.

I loved our cabin! It consistently surprised me with its amenities, including air conditioning, a nice bathroom, comfortable sleeping cushions, and even a blow dryer! The staff is friendly and the grounds are well maintained.

Beautiful campground. Cabin was perfect for two adults, very clean inside and out. Love the campfire area, outdoor table/chairs and gas grill. Friendly owners and helpful staff. Looking forward to booking another stay in the future.

We booked on line. When we got there, we were directed to the narrowest and shortest site at the CG. Our awning was 4 feet off the neighboring camper. We let the owners know, who were really nice, and compensated us for our misfortune with firewood, and advised us to call in for reservations to pick a site. Very quiet location, clean, and well manicured. We are definitely going back.

We love the Lena KOA. It is a very family oriented campground. We love all of the activities that are offered, playground equipment, nice pool, rides on the "kiddie train", sites, ice cream socials, etc. We also love going into town and the local Lena Brewery and The Rafters Restaurant and gift shop. Lena is one of our favorite KOA's.

I have stayed in many KOA's around the US and I would rate the Lena KOA as the best one I have stayed in. The grounds are very clean, the staff is very friendly and there are many activities to keep the children occupied. Two thumbs up!

I appreciated the recycling Lena KOA did. Not every KOA does this. Even though we didn't use the pool the KOA had a very nice/smart system to control access and limit occupants at any given time. We will stay there again.
