Had out landing system go down and took 5 hours to get our 47ft. 5th Wheel back on the truck. Had to search for a place open (Sunday), to purchase enough jacks and blocks to lift the front end up. The KOA was very accommodating, since we didn't get out of our spot by 3:30pm.

Overall the stay was fine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I just wish KOA would offer more robust internet. We pay a premium for KOA over other campgrounds and I chalk that up to more amenities being available to us, so it’s frustrating when WiFi is super slow to nonexistent. We stayed at 14 KOAs on this trip and all but 2 of them had very poor WiFi.

Stayed here many times over the years. Easy off I-40 They keep improving the park.

Staff were nice. Very loud highway noise, had a very hard time sleeping. Wifi ducked, dog park dirty. Not worth the cost.

They had two working dryers ( one which took all our quarters only to find that it was only blowing out cold air) and two other dryers that took out money and wouldn’t even turn on! No out of order signs on either one! Of course it was after hours so no help in that!

Workers friendly. Says big-rig friendly but NOT! Old park not kept up: Broken pedestals at sites; Utility wires showing thru gravel and grass at sites; minimal grass; 1/2 washer/dryers inoperable; no cable; tree cover blocks satellite; no OTA stations available; sites close - neighbor sewer 12” from our steps; roads only one lane width; backs up to I-530 - lots of noise 24/7. NOT WORTH $55/nite

We arrived treated rather rudely and told we could not use the koa discount because we made reservations before we had koa membership. We asked to extend told absolutely not. We got to our site and it was covered in pine needles as was the rest of the backside of the campground. Bottom line this looked like a trashy trailer park. Not enough here room for proper review. Sadly we will not stay again

Incredibly friendly staff. Wide extra long pull through sites. Two K9 areas. Not far from I-40. But is adjacent to #430 so you do hear traffic. A trade off for a Journey KOA convenience.

Nice park. Clean restrooms. Was there 5 nights, they were always working on it to keep it clean. Only negative was lots of Hwy noise. The staff was very friendly. They have 2 k9 parks. Will stay again when I’m the area. Just a FYI might be hard to find only one sign to find the road.

Sites were long enough to handle a big rig and tow behind and pretty level. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very easy check in, nice long site with a toad, friendly staff and campers. If I had 2 suggestions they would be to trim some trees for larger rigs and blow off the patio sites for campers. Would definitely return when in the area again. Thank you!!!

It was a good stay. Didn’t think I would be able to get a spot. On line booking showed none. Gave them a call and they fixed me up. Some of the full time residents getting cluttered

We had a deluxe site that was fabulous and in a great location. The site had a sitting swing. It was very close to the office and pool. The pool was fabulous, great for the kids to get some energy out after a long drive.

I made reservations for the 72 channels cable TV advertised on the KOA website. Was disappointed there was no cable TV when we checked in. Would not have stayed there if I had known there was no cable. Also, the WiFi was very was very poor.

Nice place , disappointed in the WiFi/internet though. We were just there one night and got in late, not your fault. We just thought it was pricey for not being able to stay connected to the WiFi/ internet. Thanks

It was great! We are new to KOA but after our stay I purchased the KOA rewards and we will be life timers. They were so nice! The park was clean. I saved their park map to staple in my road atlas for the next trip.

Fine for overnight stop. Friendly Staff. The pool was not working correctly (if at all) and had pine needles floating in it most of the time as well as debris on the bottom. The sites are long but very narrow for big rigs like ours, not much yard, can’t park on grass. Stayed 4 nights, no privacy with narrow sites, yet new campers put on either side of us every day when other sites were open.

Very nice KOA. Loved the quiet woodsy atmosphere. The camp host was terrific in the help he gave, a short visit with him later. Highly recommend. It is a much better RV Park than the Downtown River RV park in all ways. Keep up the good work.

Stopped by to dump my RVs blacc tank, $8.00 for non members.. KOA area clean and well maintained and staff was super cool and friendly. 👍 Overall great experience passing by.
