OK place to stay in a pinch, but way overpriced for what you get for a space. No shade, ground was flooded where the hookups were located, and cable tv showed AT&T Direct TV screensaver instead of a picture. Asked for a credit on the overnight stay, but they would not since I was already getting the KOA Membership price.

We have stayed at the campground since the second year it opened - before it was a KOA. Dave and his staff are responsive to issues with the campground. They are helpful at making our stay a pleasure.

Just stayed one night and it poured rain, but a nice park. Owners were soooo nice! Small pond on the property and they let my dog go swimming in it! Very dog friendly.

I would have rated it a 5 but restrooms where not very clean. We stayed three nights and they were not cleaned once.

The cabin toilet was not cleaned and had dried urine on the seat and hairs under the seat. It also would have been nice if y’all had done something small for the moms on Mother’s Day. Also, there was not a swing for a toddler to use which some other KOAs have. Unfortunately our daughter couldn’t use the playground. The cabin itself was nice.

1 night only. Rode in after office hours- instructions were waiting for us! All hookups worked well. Third time to stay here; each time was perfect.

The weather was wet so it’s great there was a cement pad. There seemed to be only one site for a camper staying just one night. Glad I called early to make a reservation. The campground is well maintained and scenic. Would definitely stay again if a site is available.

The check was a breeze and easy. Everything was already for me. Easy into site and easy out. The staff was very friendly and helpful since I was by myself. Would recommend this KOA to anyone. Very quite place.

Customer service was terrific. We had a truck problem that caused us to have to stay an extra two days and they were very accommodating. The pull through site was big enough, power and water sufficient. However, the bathrooms were not very clean, water from the shower ran out all over the floor in one. There were really no other amenities. We stayed in a fifth wheel.

Very clean campground. Grandkids loved the playground and the giant checker's board. Restrooms spotless. Personal very friendly and helpful. Answered all questions.Great location.

Sites are roomy, staff friendly. The bathrooms were poorly lite especially the shower area. But water was hit and very good pressure. The laundry was 2 Small household washer and dryers.

I've stayed here several times. Certain slots are better. The campground is on a hill. They do need to fix the back road that you need to take to exit because it is low and had several potholes and standing water since it had rained. Potholes are very detrimental to a 40 ft. motorhome. Things bounce around a lot.

This particular campground had only two small washers and two small dryers one of which didn't work. The playground is a joke. The lighting around the campground, 90% of the bulbs were out. The particular site they put me in, was flooded. Cable TV was terrible, half of the channels were too snowy to view. It appears they have the name KOA but DO NOT live up to KOA standards. DON'T STAY HERE

Other KOAs with similar pricing have more amenities. Good for an over night stay but would not stay for an extended time. Camp personnel are very nice. Roads require some work. It is the best RV park we found in Lufkin.

Cable was included in the pricing but the cable reception was VERY limited and low quality. I received no refund or break due to this issue even though it was mentioned to manager.

save $50 and stayed in a wallmart parking lot. just a parking lot with grass between lots no heat in bathhouse no room in bathhouse loud road noise no internet and when you ask they are like duh i dont have a clue and dont know what to do you cant even call this place a campground at all, 2 thumbs down.

First time at a KOA. Good location for us. Visiting family in Lufkin. Site was easy to pull in and good sized. Friendly host. Had a small lake on site and a couple of cabins. Campgrounds close to loop around Lufkin so lots of traffic noise. Had a picnic table at our site. Our septic hookup did need a cover! Campground was easy to find which was great. Would use this campground for family visits!!

Need to invest time and money into showers. More lighting other than in center of 10ft ceiling. Try tankless hot water heaters for on demand continuous hot water, not just first 10mins. Improve rain water drainage from pads. "Dog run" needs to be better lit. During the winter it gets dark very early.

The young lady at check in was very kind and helpful to us. She answered all of our questions about gas stations and the area. Also, it turned out that this KOA is only 5 minutes to where we needed to go for the activity we had come to attend.

Top favorites about Lufkin KOA: the community room and nearby access to trails. Dislikes: the water doesn't drain well in the showers so the water puddles and our electricity didn't work at our tent site.

A great park although close to the freeway. Some road noise but level sites and great hosts make up for any of that. A little confusing to get to but well worth it. Thank you KOA of Lufkin.

The KOA staff is very friendly and helpful, the entire campground, laundry and public restrooms were clean and the dog park well maintained. We were pleased with all aspects of our stay at this KOA campground!

Nice sites but too much noise from the highway. Wish there were more trees in between to block some sound.

We have visited this location multiple times and each time we have found it to be clean and the staff is very friendly. The new added sites are perfect for leveling also included a fire pit, covered seating and beautiful grassy area for our pets. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. We definitely plan to visit again.

Very clean bathrooms/shower. Tent site layout was a little confusing, and would have been better with a gravel tent pad. But otherwise a nice place to stay.
